I CAN'T OPEN MY MOUTH!!! D: D: D: D:

 

Okay, so I got my braces tightened today (yay. >.> ) PLUS I got rubber bands (for the first time) just because my bottom teeth are LESS THAN A MILLIMETER unstraight with my top teeth. >.<

So I don't get the normal rubber bands like everyone else.

Oh no, I get one normal rubber band (that only connects two hooks) and one BOX.

Yes, I've got a friggin BOX in my mouth! >.<

And of course the damn thing goes right in the FRONT so not only can I NOT open my damn mouth, BUT I CAN'T EAT. >.<

WHO THE firetruck COMES UP WITH THIS SHIT!?!?!?!?!?!

 

So now I have to go to camp for THREE weeks with a friggin BOX in my mouth. >.>

I have to be a friggin CIT this year! I need to be able to TALK! >.<

God friggin damnit. >.>

that sucks all u have to do to get them out is take a pair of sizzors and cut the bands it might hurt thou

My sister recently got jaw surgery. She can sort of talk now, but she couldn't the first week. She lost all of her cartliage (too lazy to spell corecctly, just woke up from nap =3= .. lame excuse! ) in one of her jaw sockets, and had to get her jaw rearranged. She got stitches. In my head the day of her surgery, I thought she was going to come home with like, joker stitches. ( XD ) But no, they cut right by her ears, but it still looks gross.

She can't eat much, since over chewing can mess up her jaw. But she can eat potatoes, watery soup (no chunkyness ), and anything she can tounge or drink. ( I call toungeing when a person has to press the food to the top of their mouth with their tounge to eat ) I feel.... kinda bad when I eat steak and food that she used to eat infront of her, but then again she doesn't care.

Oh yeah.. she CAN eat steak and stuff, but blenderized. D:> ewww~

she says chicken looks like cat food, but still is delicious when blended xDD

She also does jaw exercises (like for physical therapy ) so she can eventually chew someday.

 

... this is for four - six months Sucks to be her.

uh... I remember braces... be brave eventually they will take out (most) of the stuff they put in.

also @kairiwilson: D: I forgot to say how much that sucks!! @_@ I'll never know what it's like to have braces. Kinda glad, kinda not. I feel like its something most kids growing up should go through. ( XDD) But my dentist wants me as a "candidate" for invisilign, and the suckish thing about that is I get my wisdom teeth out when they're barely even FORMED! D:< (mine still have no visible roots and I'm 15 xDD ) . (however it's spelled) so I'll never know what you're going through!!! ;~; I bet it sucks a whole lot though. My sister had to do the rubber bands. and the days you get braces tightened sound terrible!! DX

Soda~ Okay, your sister has it a billion times worse! DX I remember my sister got her wisdom teeth out recently...she went over to my mom with all her wisdom teeth in a bag and asked if the tooth fairy was in service today.

She still hasn't gotten her money..and it's been...about 2 years since then? She was 18 at the time.

I have a mobile brace but I don't use it most part of the time:),it's bad to stay with.i'm with it right now.

Jeez, I'm sooo not looking forward to my braces. I can't believe I'm 17 and I haven't gotten them yet! I haven't even gotten my wisdom teeth pulled! Gawd, It's really gonna suck once they get a hold of my mouth D:

 

I'm so sry, KairiW. I have this friend who's had her horrible case of braces for over 3 years. So i sort of know what you going through b/c she explains everything to me. But I have never heard of a 'box' type thingy, lol. My friend, her baby teeth wouldn't come in so the had to put these chains on them and pull the up and turn them around (they came in backwards) over a years period i think. And now she's got these rubber band right in the front of her mouth and they drove her crazy for the first two days. But after that, she got used to them.

 

you know, Why can it be like the old days? I mean, in the 1700s, they never dealt with braces! They just got false teeth sooner...lolXD
