I played FFX and FF13, 13-2, and LR:FFXIII.

I thought they were great but its been so long since I played FFX, so I forgot what made it so great.

And now that I've played the HD remaster...yup this game is 10 billion times better than FF13. I am in love with the ending, and how everything is connected. Something FFXIII failed to do, but I still love FFXIII...just not as much as FFX now.

So I was wondering, for those who played FFXHD, did you like it better or not than you did before for any reason, OR is this your first time playing this and/or finishing it and you loved it?

I hated FFX with a passion. A huge passion. The passion of a thousand red hot suns. I borrowed the HD version, trying to give the game another chance and couldn't finish it. I just plain hate it.

so far I'm loving FFX ^_^

Not as much as VI,VII or IX mind you,but it's still fantastic....waaaay better than FFVIII

I haven't got past the temple in D'Jose because I hate that cloister of trials. I'll go back to it eventually.

I do enjoy FFX for many reasons. I'll go further in depth as to why once I've taken the game in again.

Ah, the cloister of trails. Very easy once you know what to do. You can use a guide.

It's not a matter of being stuck. I know how to get through them. I just hate doing it. They're slow, tedious, not fun at all, and in general just a drag. I play games to have fun and the Trials just aren't, so I either approach them when I'm in the mood or I just put it off.

To be honest the game is great :) but it's pretty tedious most of the time.

Y'know, I actually haven't played the HD remaster, though I played FF X last year.  I really liked it a lot, though I can't really say whether it's better than XIII.  In some ways, I suppose, but both were pretty comparable.   I think I liked the plot of X and the characters from XIII, if that makes sense.

I remember doing to Cloister of Trials before playing this again, and I remember finding it boring and a nuisance but it was actually really easy.

You know, with the guide. :D

I like both the plot and characters of X and XIII.

The story is similar to be honest, both about....

Gods and how they don't seem as they are supposed to.

At the end they stay away from the teachings and go towards a new age of more science based-stuff (or Machina in FFX).

X was just more interactive and the story was more fleshed out. The ending was more emotional IMO.

XIII needed more interactive stuff and more of a fleshed out story, but I liked the ending when they were on Pulse. Ragnarok was a bit out of nowhere, even though it was explained sometimes throughout the story, it just needed more fleshing out to make it seem not so weird.

I mean, XIII suffered because of the people who were making it had conflicting story ideas so they just put it together to make the game.
