Posted April 25, 201411 yr Square Enix accidentally deleted all the production codes in mid-production of KH3, gave up, and rebooted the entire series?
April 25, 201411 yr I would hate them for not making Kingdom Hearts 3. After all of these years if they don't finish KH3 I will hunt them down one by one. Edited April 25, 201411 yr by Zeldablade7
April 25, 201411 yr Why would they reboot the entire series That's just gonna take more time than starting the one game from scratch Additionally anyone in programming knows not only to have back ups, but to keep saves of your previous iterations. E.g. if I'm making an ATM machine and I code the Pin Reading mechanism, I save that, and then I add code to validate the pins from the reading, I save that under a different name so that there'll be multiple iterations of it, from beginning to end, in case you severely firetruck some new coding up you can go back to the point it last worked

If they reboot the series, as long as they don't alter Kairi's character model, then I'm fine. If they do however, I will hunt them down one by one.

If they do however, But why bother doing that when KH3, having to redesign characters, the plot, etc when you could just start KH3 over again, which is highly anticipated. Considering how anticipated it is, scrapping it to reboot it and not officially finishing off the saga would more than likely piss the majority of their audience rather than attract them, plus new ones. That was KH1 was old and not being developed on, to not back up and save different versions of a project you're working on (like KH3 now) is probably the most moronic thing someone could do in programming
April 25, 201411 yr I'd pull my hair out actually... In less they add more of Riku in the newer games then... HECK YEAH. But if it was the same old, same old... Yeah, I'd pull my hair out
April 30, 201411 yr They probably have some kind of backup somewhere to ensure that wouldn't happen. Besides, I don't understand why they would have to reboot the entire series and not only their current project.

If they reboot the series, as long as they don't alter Kairi's character model, then I'm fine. If they do however, It's not like there are millions of copies of KH1,KH2 and basically every game of the series out there Oh wait....THERE ARE Good firetrucking Lord are you people dense Square Enix did not recreate the first game from scratch...the reverse-engineered form a Retail Copy of the Game There's no way in hell they could have recreated KH1(or any game for that matter) exactly the way it was without any sort of reference
May 1, 201411 yr Square Enix did not recreate the first game from scratch...the reverse-engineered form a Retail Copy of the Game I sorta figured that there would be the anti-piracy codes that would prevent them from doing such a thing, but I guess I could be wrong.
