Square Enix has released their financial results for the period ending March 31, 2014. This document confirms that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is still scheduled for 2014.

 

 

E3 2014 starts June 10 and we're expecting news on HD 2.5 ReMIX there.

I thought Square said it was going to be a worldwide release date.

Even if the chance of a worldwide release is small because it's just a remaster, it could explain why it's taking them so long.

Anyone else had the OMFGYEHEHEHESS feeling when they first saw this on the home page, thinking it was a schedule for E3? I mean I know we're definitely getting at least a release date at E3 but I mean.... it'd be nice to have a schedule and see when Square Enix will be showing it's stuff....also after that, I had another attack, thinking the topic also stated the official full release date, but then groaned when I found it was still 2014. Oh well.. either way (still excited here, thinking about the glorious 2.5 HD Remix) CAN'T WAIT GUYS

I agree totally. Many never thought KH would come to Xbox 1, but it did and shocked a lot of people. I try to keep an open mind .

We didn't get any new games on PlayStation 3 though, that's why. Whenever Square Enix release a new game on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 they always consider an Xbox 360 or Xbox One port straight away.

Point is - there has never been one up until now so many were surprised .You can't even say for sure it would've came out on the 360 if we had had a game on the PS3. You have no way of saying that for sure .

Oh sure, some people will have been surprised but anyone who's a Square Enix fanatic wouldn't be surprised. They would have, they port all their new major titles to Xbox.

They hadn't started doing so for Xbox yet, they started with 360 after it become huge.

Okay so I'm not the only one seeing that it's scheduled for release in JP, NA and EU for 2014 am I? Now while that doesn't point to a simultaneous release, it definitely guarantees a very short localisation period, right? Maybe 3 months at the most.

YES!With how long it was taking for news to come I was worried that, if it wasn't a simultaneous release, it may not make it over her until next year.
