I once came up with a theory about Sora being the embodiment of the X-Blade and Kairi being the embodiment of Kingdom Hearts, but there were some flaws in that theory

May 15, 201411 yr I don't think Sora will ever lose the Keyblade because of the strong ties he has with countless other hearts, and since the Keyblade deemed Sora worthy to be it's wielder, I seriously doubt he'd lose it, after all, he will always be the protagonist of the series.
May 15, 201411 yr Better twist: what if everyone ELSE loses their keyblade, and Sora is the only one who keeps his, making him truly the only one who can save the day? Besides, I still have memories of Hollow Bastion kicking my butt as I tried to fend of Defenders with a stick, and as much as I'd like to see the Beast make a return to come and save the day, I really don't think a second look at keyblade-less Sora gameplay is something we need.
May 15, 201411 yr Nope, just his dual-wielding, like Flaming Lea said I wanna hear that theory Ok I'm gonna expose it in all its incorrectness xDSora is said to be the "Key" that will open the Door to Light. Also, he has the power to connect with other characters, links with such power to make him a catalyst of Hearts like the X-Blade is pretty much a catalyst too since a reunion of Hearts is needed in order to forge it. The X-Blade need to contain Light and Darkness in equal doses and Sora has both Light and Darkness within his Heart (problem: according to what we know now, Sora's Darkness is not overwhelming enough to equal his Light ). The one with a totally pure Heart is Kairi, which would represent in fact the most pure source of light: Kingdom Hearts. Also, Kairi was once swallowed by the Darkness,right? Yeah, thanks to Yen Sid we know that the real Kingdom Hearts was swallowed by the darkness never to be seen again. This could be a reference, and like Kingdom Hearts is gone, only to be summoned by the X-Blade, Kairi disappeared after her Heart found a way in Sora's Heart and guess what: Sora (the Key) is the one that summoned Kairi (Kingdom Hearts) freeing her Heart. Sora was also brought back by Kairi's Light, when he was fading into Darkness, in the moment right after Kairi hugged Sora's Heartless. Now, think of that moment like the moment of the reunion of the Key and the Door: Sora sacrificed himself to save Kairi and, by doing so, Sora (X-Blade) "unlocked" Kairi's Heart (Kingdom Hearts) which has released the Light (in the moment of the reunion) that brought back Sora from his falling. Like I said before, Sora is stated to be THE KEY.. And Kairi is stated to be a PRINCESS OF HEARTS.. KEY..HEARTS.. He's the Key and she's the Heart,and the fact that Sora is "the one that will open the door" would be a reference to Sora's Love for Kairi and that he's the one that opened Kairi's Heart with the Love he has shown to feel for her by sacrificing himself, just like the X-Blade is the only Key able to unlock Kingdom Hearts.That was my theory about Sora and Kairi being the embodiment of the X-Blade and Kingdom Hearts, but there are flaws in it so yea Edited May 15, 201411 yr by Keyblader_95
May 15, 201411 yr No way, the Keyblade has always been Sora's. He will just lose the ability to dual wield.
