A member of GameFreak has confirmed the timeline events of the main Pokemon games. Thanks to the translatations and The Pokemon Center page on FB.

 

 

I'm firetrucking knew it! I was spot on with the timeline. For example, XY's hint where a NPC mentioned Colress interested in the area. (He wasn't present at the time, so he could have been on Kalos before heading to Unova and joining Team Plasma) I could say more, but some of it, especially HGSS'+DPPt's timeline, is obvious.

They've said before that the Kanto and Hoenn league where occuring at the same time with the Johto and Sinnoh leage occuring a year after

 

the only thing new here is that BlackWhite 2 occurs at the same time as X&Y

I never really understood how people associated Gen 3 and Gen 1 taking place at the same time unless it was just pure speculation (if you consider Gen 2 / 4 take place at the same time), but XY and BW2 taking place at the same time is cool, I guess.EDIT: I also think it's interesting that Red / Green and Gold / Silver are abbreviated with their kanji syllables, but the other ones use the same abbreviations we use. Not that it means much, but I think that's a neat off-hand observation.

If you read what I said, it hinted towards XY taking place alongside or a small time before/after BW2. Adding along what I said, I think the NPC never mention Colress being with Plasma/was with Plasma, supporting that Colress must have been on Kalos before going to Unova. I'd say vise versa, but the tweet confirming the timelines points towards the former.

This isn't exactly news. We knew about the timeline a long time ago. This is just updated with the most recent games.

Sweet, nice to know the timeline here is confirmed. At least it's not as complicated to place like Zelda's.

Confirmation from a official source=not news. KH13's logic baffles me to no end, but k den.

The only one that we didn't really know yet was B2/W2 happening at the same time as X/Y. : I guess that's cool to know, though.

I did not know pokemon had a timeline..interesting.
