What do all these these things have in common? They are all animated Disney classics that have gotten, or will get, Live Action Remakes.

You heard me right, hot on the heels of their success with Maleficent's opening weekend, Disney has plans to remake a whole slew of their animated films as live action blockbuster. While Cinderella has been in development for a while now and is slated to hit theaters next year, The Jungle Book is currently in development and development on Beauty and the Beast has just begun!

 

I can't wait to see who they get to play Gaston. Maybe Jason Momoa? I mean, the guy is MASSIVE and Gaston is supposed to be "roughly the size of a barge!" lol

No, it's not. I only mentioned it because it has been done, like I said. The Jungle Book is getting a second live action version. 101 Dalmatians is not.

Gaston live action should be hallerious lol

Well, Maleficent was amazing, so I'm guessing Cinderella and any other live action rendition of their animated characters will be just as good.  Almost every Disney film is a great success, so I know Disney will fare out well for the coming years.
