First off, sorry if this has been made already but I couldn't find anything in forum search.

Anyway, I'm, starting Re:CoM again because I accidentally overwrote my first file with Revers/Rebirth and I want to know if I should focus on improving HP or CP when leveling up. I ask because Final Marluxia kicked my ass repeatedly last time and I'd really like to get the upper hand this time so I don't have to fight him ten times before I beat him. Thanks.

It's all about balance. I suggest you equally balance your HP and CP. Do that and you'll be good to go. Trust me, it's all about balance! (And by that extension, symmetry!)

What I did was just increase Sora's HP on every third level.

Peace!

Cp and get Sonic Blade(lots of it), after that, very few enemies can stand up to you, Marluxia included.

CP a little more than HP. But make sure HP doesn't slack.

I personally never increase HP, I prefer to build a kick-azz Deck increasing only CP instead: you don't need HP if your enemy can't hit you ;) But I have to say that it's a matter of preferences and comfort in the first place, you've got to find out whether you prefer challenges or easy ways to win like spamming Lethal Frame xD

What this guy said, you can get through the game without a single HP increase as long as you handle your decks / sleight arrangement just so.

From memory of the original game (only just started the 1.5 version yesterday) you should prioritise CP to expand your deck, but it does mean you have to grind consistently throughout the game to play catch up on HP. As you have discovered, having little HP makes bosses tricky without cure cards, but lacking CP means you'll deck out in longer boss fights

CP every two level ups, then HP :)

You'll be able to own bosses with Lethal Frame like crazy xD

You make me want to re-do 1.5 Re: Chain of memories again as well :(

Well, I kind of have to. I accidentally over wrote my Sora's Story file when I started Reverse/Rebirth. Anyway, thanks for all the input guys, I decided to do a a 4:1 Cp/hp ratio. That way it's easy for me to remember if I take a break since Cp goes up by 25 every time.

I think CPs are more important.
