Today was the Smash Fest at Best Buy, as many of my fellow Smash fans might know. I got to go today, and it was awesome! I got there an hour before the event started, so I was one of the first 80 people. However, Nintendo didn't send nearly enough coins, so they had to offer them as preorder bonuses instead. Once the event started, the line moved way faster than it did at last year's Best Buy event. My brother and I got to play a round of Smash Run, and one round of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. We started a second round, but 10 seconds in, their Wii U crashed, so they had to keep the line moving. It was awesome, I really enjoyed it! It's always fun to see so many fellow gamers all together for these events. I also managed to get some cool promotional stuff:

 

My brother and I each reserved a copy of Super Smash Bros for 3DS while we were there, too. Can't wait to pick it up!

I'm getting both, but I'm waiting a while to preorder the Wii U version. I want to wait until more stores offer the Gamecube controller/adapter bundle, since I like using the GCN controller for Smash Bros.

Anyway, this might be a silly question, but are they just gonna call it Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS? If they were gonna have it be Super Smash Bros. _____ like with Melee and Brawl, I would think they would have mentioned that by now.

Yeah, those are the final titles. : I wish they went with something more original, but hey, I don't care too much as long as the games are fun, which they were.

Well, there's always the SSB4 abbreviation. Or SSB3D or SSBU.

Of course my family just so happens to decide to plan a vacation miles away from any participating Best Buy during both days of the event! >.<" 

I'm glad you enjoyed it. My expectations were to high. It took me an hour and a half to get there, and an hour and a half of waiting in line, just to play for 2 minutes. 2 minutes of me getting my ass handed to me. Then they were like "Thanks for playing, back of the line". Firetruck that.

I wish I got some smash swag, but my best buy didn't have the even ;_;

I went to the event, got to wait 2 hours to try it and I got to say... IT WAS AWESOME I'm getting the 3DS version for sure but first, I need to get one
