for god's sake disney DOES NOT OWN Kingdom Hearts. not completely anyway disney only has half of the right's square own's the other half obviously it's not even really thair game it has thair charecters yeah but no they don't completely own only partially thdy have vertually nothing to do with the games besides give the okay to what square can use don't get me wrong i love disney i love thair movies my favorites being beuty and the beast & FROZEN but yeah please don't missunderstand

Actually they kinda do... they even own the original KH characters like Sora.

 

They've even made KH games on their own without Square, iirc, such as the V-Cast game.

disney made it with the okay from square ----->Ultimania—From "KHCOM" to "KHII", p. 6; Interviewer: "We have heard that, in America, there is a KH being developed for the mobile phone." / Tetsuya Nomura: "There are quite a few things concerning that...officially it has nothing to do with the original KH. It's completely different. The title is KH, Sora makes an appearance, but the story has nothing to do whatsoever with the KH, KHCOM, and KHII we're developing, since Disney is designing it."

hmmmm i don't think so square & disney have equal power in kh but each own thair respective charecters i figured since you don't see any people wearing sora or riku costumes because tetsuya nomura made and own the charecters

Disney and Square work on the game together. Square owns some characters and Disney owns the rest. Same goes for the soundtrack, worlds etc. If this is about  the TV series, Disney does have some right to do that...

Well they do own a large portion of it that's fir sure but not completely

 

As that horrible animated series didn't come to fruition for a reason and the fact that main KH characters such as Sora,Riku....etc didn't appear in things like Disney Infinity

 

I'm sure there is a contract between Nomura and Disney when it comes to the usage of KH exclusive characters as neither Disney nor Square can fully use them as they please
