From Siliconera, apparently SE Japan has registered a trademark for "Prequel Trilogy".

 

 

 

I'm not sure what to think of this... What could the trilogy be for? Kingdom Hearts? Final Fantasy? You never know.

I don't think it would make sense for Final Fantasy, since each game is separate from one another. But it would be interesting to see what they would do with Kingdom Hearts.

I think a twewy prequel would be kind of cool.
