HD isn't just about texture detail. They have to worry about jagged edges from the old character/environment models too.

You make it a bit brighter and put it widescreen and you're done! The genius is that the world is supposed to be made simple, as that is the style of the original!

Don't see the problem :).

You make it widescreen for HD TVs. Because the only difference between HD and SD is HD is rectangle shaped screen and SD is square shaped.

the screenshots and emulation look about the same.
