Almost like you, I like fantasy, action/adventure, animated/cartoon, comedy, science fiction but I also like watching horror. 

I hate listing genres. Lol. Just give me a good blockbuster, usually with action.

As for me, I love fantasy, action/adventure, science fiction, historicals, if they're good, comedy. Again, if they're good, animated movies, (these include CGI) and musicals. 

The kind that go like this:

i like action/adventre cgi thriller horror fantasy & documentaries if their interesting enough

Scifi, fantasy, action/adventure, comedy, and animated.

Fantasy, Science Fiction, Mystery, Thrillers, Some horror films, some Drama (RENT) I love movies that manage to work multiple genres in one (i.e. Doctor Horrible)

Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Thriller ( Jurassic Park for example), Adventure, Documentaries occasionally, Pychological movies, old black and white films, and there may be a rare occasion when I think a comedy is good.

Movies that give me something to think about after I've watched it. A good popcorn film is always enjoyable, but my favorite type of movie is one with things to analyze and delve into, revealing more secrets the more times you watched it. Out of my top ten list, the ones that fit this bill the most are Citizen Kane, Unforgiven, and The Godfather: Part 2.
