So my cousin and I are going to do the 15 hour Trohpy, starting today.

We're gonna do it in Begginer Mode, just to make things easier.

 

Can anyone give us advice for this one?

Perhaps try skipping the cutscenes? That's my best guess.

For real, there is no mystery. Just skip the cutscenes and don't get lost (example: Hollow Bastion). I did the run very calmly and I finished it in 6h. It's not that hard. Good luck!

Well, since you are playing in the begginer mode, it would not make much difference, but sure. Choose the sword OR the staff and always give up the shield. Both will be good for being strong and finishing the bosses fast.

Just do whatever is necessary to advance the story, and nothing extra. I found that choosing the Sword at the beginning gives you a lot of strength and it gives you offensive abilities earlier to aid you, which is what you need. Plus in Beginner mode you get bonus Power, Defense and AP Ups as well as that EXP charm so it should be a cinch Skipping cutscenes helps too. Good luck!

Cutscenes don't actually count.

You don't have to skip the cutscenes so that's ok just go through the game you don't have to do the coliseum world at all just skip that and you can skip either Atlantica or Halloween town that should shave some time off and you don't have to really be at a high level anyway since the enemy's depend on your level but it would still be a good idea to level up somewhat you may think that you will just barley make it but trust me it will be over before you know it

Oh yeah! And when asked the questions at the start, pick the first option for each. That way you'll level up faster at the lower levels

You can skip one of Atlantica or Halloween Town, but not both (need to go through one to get to Neverland). The speedrunners go through HT because Atlantica's controls are a bitch, and it locks some of the more powerful abilities (summons, limits, etc.).

Do Beginner, Pick Sword, Give Up Staff, pick the first option on all of the questions asked in the beginning, this will enable to level up faster at first til around lv 50, Skip Colliseum and Atlantica, Profit! 

 

I would also do the unchanging armor trophy if you would make the run, if you haven't done it. Just don't equip/unequip anything.

I think dodging might speed it up will avoid at least hitting.

Pick Sword, and skip Atlantica. All I can think of. I haven't done the trophy yet myself, but I do know a lot about the game. ._.

Skip cutscenes, choose Sword for better offense, give up Shield or Staff because it doesn't really matter, don't do any side quests, just blow through the story, skip Atlantica, and use LOTS of saves in case you mess up. Also, if you wanna save time or redo a mistake, use the command that takes you back to the main menu (L1-L2-R1-R2-Start-Select).

We're doing it like this:

 

Sword, Gave up Shield

Chose the first option on the islands

No changing equipments

Skip cutscenes

Not gonna do Olympus, Monstro and Atlantica

 

Right now we beat Wonderland, and now we're in Deep Jungle, saving the gorillas from the Heartless, at 1 hour and 15 minutes (01:15)

 

Is it good?

We did it!

 

Beat Ansem SoD in less than 7 hours

 

We also did the Undefeated Trohpy and the No Changing Equipment Trophy while we were at it

 

The only problem we had was Chernabog and the first fight against Ansem SoD on EOTW
