Should I let my friend borrow my copy of 1.5 or not

Posted

Ok so I've been telling him to get into kingdom hearts for a long time now, and now that he really wants to play it, I don't if I should let him borrow my copy of 1.5 or not. You see, I don't want him to borrow it and quit because of the fetch quest or because wonderland is a pain in the ass to navigate your first time around. Also, I feel like if he watches the 358/2 movie it could ruin the KHII opening segment with Roxas. Like it wouldn't be so badass and mysterious.

Also the last time I let him borrow something he gave it back a year later.

Should I let him borrow it or not. 2.5 comes out soon, so maybe he should just wait for that? II is a much better game and much easier to get into, so I think if he played that first he would like the series more.

Well if he quits at Wonderland or because of the quest then he would feel like he wasted his money to buy is own copy of the game I say you should let him borrow it but you should be there when he starts it and tell him hey don't play the Days part just yet wait for a few months.  And if he likes it then say alright buy your own copy now

Go for it I guess.

nope if you still want to play 1.5/ need trophies.

sure if you can wait to get 2.5/ have other games.

but out of curiosity, what was it?

Tell him to buy it himself.

It's really up to you, I personally don't like lending anyone games, friends, family members or even adults my mums lent my games to without permission, have never returned them, had to burn a Crash game 3 times cause people kept "borrowing" it.  You could do what I did though, my boyfriend wanted into it and was playing a borrowed copy of KH1 from a friend, and I got him 1.5 for his birthday.  Or tell him to rent it to see if he likes it.

It's 19.99 tell your friend to get a job and buy it.

Give it to him or tell him to subscribe to the WWE Network for 9.99 $ .

Nah. By the sounds of it your friend isn't very trustworthy... but you probably know better.

Maybe wait until KH HD 2.5 comes out so he can buy that after he's played KH1 and/or Re:COM. I played KH2 directly after KH1, without played COM, and I followed the story easily. Watching the Days cutscenes probably would ruin some of the magic of KH2.. or bore him to death.

He'll quit at the opening haha

I love openings, but I see many westerners think they are long and boring.

Oh well.

If he's proven himself trustworthy in the past, sure.
