Come to think of it. The masked man that battled Minato could be Madara. Think of it, Madara might have still be alive during the time Obito "died" and Madara must have found him, saved Obito, and took him in. Then Obito began to get corrupted and had his emotions twisted by Madara and inherited the Curse of Hatred. During some point in time Madara died and Obito took in Madara's role, started using the mask and changed his name to Tobi.

That's what I think about Madara and Obito now. We may get to learn more about Obito and possibly Madara in ch. 600.

I hope, we will see more of it in 600. There has to be something special about it... well, Sasuke could finally find that "person", but I don't think that that will happen.

That's basically everything I just said. But yes, Madara was alive at least until he saw child Nagato once.

 

I'm hoping for more about Madara in the next chapter.

I don't think the Mangekyo can be unlocked that way. I'm pretty sure it can only be unlocked by causing the death of someone close to you, or strongly feeling as though you did. Which is probably what happened on Kakashi's part.

Perhaps. Or when Obito found out she had died, he felt responsible for entrusting Kakashi with her?

we dont know what kind of Sickness she died from, and Kakashi did promised Obito that he will protect Rin.

idk, but all I can say is that when finding out Rin died, that may have activated Obito's mangekyo, and maybe the similar thing happened to Kakashi as well.

I was going to make a topic on this myself! They finally revealed who Tobi is!

Although most people sayd it would be him, I also wondered that a while ago. It was more like a official revelation, everyone knew it was him!

I read what some people wrote, and I agree. Obito must have become angry at Kakashi and the whole world when Rin died... He probably wants revenge at the nation, that's why he's doing all this.

Also, I think most people noticed, that Obito and Naruto are very similar (it's obvious I know) but they ended up chossing different paths, because Obito wanted revenge and Naruto wanted peace... I think they're going to explore this similarity a lot...

 

PS: Tobi and Obito are VERY similar names. oBITO, then you change this capital letters and you get TOBI. maybe a sign that he's not the same person as he was?

She died from sickness? I didn't know Kishimoto actually said anything about that. But anyway, that could be it, but I suppose there's a lot that could have given either of them the Mangekyo.

Because that was the third created today. There's already one under personal for some strange reason.

How was he a random character? The fact that Obito and Kakashi's story was shown at all was significant to the plot, which Obito was all along.

If it was, it was something Kishimoto could have just released in a data book instead of spending all that time. Writers don't just make up as they go along. As much as it seems he doesn't sometimes, Kishimoto does indeed have the plot all planned out.

This is exactly what I was thinking. If you go back to the Fourth Hokage battle, you'll see 'Tobi's' hair is the exact length and similar style to that of Madara. Not to mention the things Madara said seem to place his death shortly after seeing Nagato as a child.

About Obito, I'm thinking Madara or Zetsu saved him right before Obito was about to die, and used his feelings against him.

 

Doesn't 'Tobi' has the same Hair as he helped Itachi to kill his own clan? o:

Also Madara just got revived... Revived with the age he had as he died... I'm not sure, but THIS age ... He was this old when he fought Hashirama, so how is it possible that he can give Nagato the Rinnegan so many years later? Does it have something to do with this Hashirama Face on his body? O: Does it make him "live" longer? And then we have to know how he died and most importantly: WHEN?

I also want to know why Obito said he was Madara ... I can't see any sense D:

But I also think that Zetsu could've saved Obito ... In the fight with Danzous Guards 'Tobi' ripped his own right arm off and it was some sort of glibbery white O: Maybe this was Zetsus doing... Some sort of prosthesis cause of he was crushed (where he nearly died O:)

Do you really believe this? C'mon, at many points in the history I just can't believe this is planned... For example: Naruto and Sasuke become really close friends and all of a sudden Sasuke betrayes them and goes to Orochimaru ... He goes to Oro-man although he wanted to defy this dark power ~ First he defies it and then he suddenly want it I think Kishimoto made up his mind at some points in the story, so it didn't go as he planned from the beginning

Of course, many of the story parts are planned, but I really can't believe everything too O:
