Do you think there will be a 13th anniversary special event for Kingdom Hearts next year?

Posted

Since the Kingdom Hearts series has a thing for the number 13, they might do something special to accommodate with it. Maybe to have a special contest and have people cosplay as an Organization member or draw an OC Org. character to have a chance to win the 2015 KH game.

Seems logical to me to produce the Japanese collector's edition world wide, collectors will buy it even if they already have all the games and newbies will be enticed by the deal.

It's hard to say, typically franchises tend to celebrate milestone anniversaries, like 10th anniversaries, 15th, 20th, etc. Typically multiples of 5. But seeing as how 13 is a pretty big number in the series, there could be a slight chance that they might try to do...something. I'm not sure if it would be as big as the 10th anniversary was or even as big as the 15th might be, but if they were to do something, it would be pretty interesting to see what it is. Heck, if they even acknowledge that it's Kingdom Hearts' thirteenth birthday (heh, pun), that would be something. Still, despite the doubters out there, I wouldn't be surprised if there was one more game to release by 2015, and if it is Dream Drop Distance, that would be very funny in an ironic way. An anniversary title gets re-released on another anniversary! Oh I really hope that happens, because the opportunity would be too classy to give up. X)

Port of the HD ReMIXes for the PS4? Probably not...

I'm really clueless as to what would happen if there'd be some sort of special 13th Anniversary celebration of the series.  If the number 13 weren't that important, then I wouldn't really put much thought into it, but since 13 is so significant in the lore of the series, one can't help but wonder what would happen next year.  My money's set on a Dream Drop Distance Remaster, but in the case that it's not, then my mind's at a blank, so I wouldn't really know what to expect from next year.  Let's hope Square has something big planned for us! :)

gonna get KH3 believe

gonna get KH3 believe

seeing that KH3 is probably about 10-20% done, i dont think so.

Not to mention that FF XV is coming out as a demo next year (I honestly believe that KH3 will come out after that title. It's where i draw the parallel) and is probably about 60-70% done,  that just puts KH3 coming out on the 13th anniversary even more unlikely.

Even though the main focus is on KH3 we don't know if Nomura has any other side projects he has planned and not released to the public.

I'm talking about 3D or Chi. He going to do something with either one of them next year, I don't know what he's going to do cuz I'm not Nomura.

KHX or a Theatrhythm.
