Don't Agree With Wii U EULA? No Wii U.

i think that this is stupid of nintendo. i love nintendo but i dont think that this is a great idea. i think its a horrible idea. if i buy a console, id like to play it even if i dont agree with the companies philosophy. of course i have no problem with the EULA so i will be ok, but i can understand why people dont like this. nintendo, your awesome, but i dont think that this was necessary. im not really mad, but i can clearly understand why others are mad and do think its justified. i miss when consoles just played games. your thoughts?

Who the hell read the EULA anyways? I mean srsly... You can admit to a mass genocide that makes Hitler look like a freaking wannabe and no one will ever know.

i heard that there was a company that allowed an experiment to see how many people read the eula. they hid a 3000 dollar prize in the eula (somehow) and after like 300 downloads of the program, someone finally claimed it. i was actually surprized. xD i just thought id mention that.

Honestly it really isn't a big deal to me ( if I had a Wii U), I don't agree with paying for Xbox live but I do anyways.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. It's Nintendo's console, and they're giving you the license of using their services. Of course you should agree to the terms of use they lay out for you.

I always accept anyways...

i guess i can understand your point. its been that way for software for all these years. i guess we were just spoiled by the lack of this stuff when the technology wasent good enough to have it (generation 1-6)

I dun see a problem. I mean..no one really reads it and they just head straight for the accept button every time. I didn't even notice it was that way when I updated just because I always hit the accept button and look at nothing else.

It's the End USER License Agreement

if you want to use their product, you need to agree to the legal stuff involved in it

i understand that, but it must be troublesome if you already bought a wii u before, and now you have to agree to this new agree ment or your 300 goes down the drain. but again,

you could argue that you cant return it because the warrenty or something. like that guy in the video in the article. but im just finding excuses here. i guess the reason people are mostly upset about this is

pretty much every store has a seven day return policy

if you bought the Wii U ages ago and just NOW do't want to agree to the EULA... sell it

but buying a piece of technology and not thinking you're going to have to agree to something is quite frankly naive

Eula is two letters away from being Ebola... This seems like a slippery slope to me, soon Nintendo will be forcing Ebola onto Wii U users.

Obviously Nintendo is the Antichrist,

your right. i agree nowadays thats the case. its just that before that, you could disagree and still play the wii u without some of the online features. i just dont understand why that was taken out. i just think that could have been left alone and not have any problems. again, im not mad at nintendo. i just understand why people are upset. i think nintendo could have left the disagree option in there. that way you could still play games and just not have access to online. i thought that that was a good idea. i didnt hear about any problems it coused so i just think that this could have been left in there and it seemed unnecesary to take it out. im not mad. i am just able to understand why others are.

I never read them honestly,so I don't mind.
