A lot of you are unoxing your copies of KH2.5 as I type this, so just some friendly advice

PLAY KH2 ON CRITICAL MODE

Seriously, it's fun. They make enemies hit harder, and you have less health, but you deal more damage yourself, and you start off with 50 AP and a bunch of bonus abilities. As far as I'm concerned, it's the perfect difficulty level for KH2. Prior to this the game was simply too easy without self imposed challenges

Of course, you have to not use reflect, too, since difficulty becomes irrelevant when you use reflect

I'm most likely going to play on Proud first since I need to get back in the gist of things. But Critical will definitely come next! :D

Peace!

It's my tradition to start on proud as of late, so I'll kick off with that to get into the groove of things, then one day when I feel up to a challenge I'll do Crit. I do want to do it, I just don't want my first run of the game in years to be painfully difficult.

Oh hell yes, I'll definitely play Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on Critical Mode, I live for the challenge!  Let me just calmly play through Birth By Sleep on Critical Mode first, and then I'll concentrate on Kingdom Hearts II, lol. xD

I've played all the games on their most difficult modes, so I'm used to the increased damage and whatnot. :3

I plan on playing proud mode first on both 2fm and bbsfm,.and then I will go.to critical! :D

Since I played the shit out of KH2 and have recently played through KH2FM, critical mode is what I'm doing to make things interesting... Same with BBSFM, although I played the final mix version before.

I can't remember, do difficulty trophies stack for 2.5? Because if so, then yeah, I'll totally play CM off the bat, but if not, I'll just go with Proud to get back in the rhythm and eventually play CM anyway. (Also worth noting: difficult does not equal fun in my book. Good games are fun no matter what difficulty.)

Yeah, critical will just be for the trophy for me I think.

I'm getting my ass handed to me, but I have a habit of tackling the harder worlds first (and Beast's world is a doozy regardless).

Regardless, it's fun. I wouldn't recommend it for everybody, though.

Totally gonna do BBSFM in Critical, though, I totally own that stuff.

So I'm playing on Critical mode but should I equip the bonus abilities given at the start of the game or are those intended for the people going for a Zero Exp run? I'm asking because I don't want to take away from the challenge of Critical mode by adding those extra abilities.

Yolo mcsweg, I do that anyway.
