Mushroom XIII help! (Mushroom 1)

Posted

Hey guys! First post here. So I recently bought Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX and I finished the game and have been trying to tackle these mushrooms. As of this post, I have finished the previous 11 challenges and need the very first mushroom.Any ideas to help? The most amount of hits I can get is 45... And final form keeps on moving around even when I don't want it too.I'm currently Level 84All max level DrivesBut I've been using Ultima Weapon/Fenrir with negative combo and no added combo plus/air combo plus. Help please! Thanks in advance~!

You have to use the reaction command Reversal at the right moment. Press triangle after the Mushroom has done it's own Reversal, right before it will attack you. It'll take some time getting the timing right, but you'll get it soon.

But that's the thing xDI experimented with my timing in Sora's normal state and got 45 hits and no misses. I try with Final Form and get 27 or 36. 70 is a bit hard for me to reach at the moment.

Use final form, he will let you get in 9 hits at a time. You just can't mess up, that's the key.

Something else, I noticed if you use reversal one seconds after he does, he will freeze on the first reversal so you can get more in.

To be specific, wait about half a second before you press reversal and attack. But before you do that, use Final Form. When in Final Form, all you have to do is wait half a second before using reversal, press circle, and then X once. Just keep doing that over and over and you should be fine.

When the Reversal Reaction Command pops up, do not use it. For like a second it will change to "Quick Slide" which is the one you want. Of course, like everyone is saying, use Final Form to catch it off guard and get in 9 hits at a time. Once you get the rhythm of it, you'll reach 70 hits easily. Hope this helps! :)

Peace!

All the above, but if you feel like final form isn't working for you, try wisdom form, that did it for me.

- Final Form

- Use Quick Slide instead of Reversal (Quick Slide usually appears right after Reversal, it's all about timing)

Good luck :)

Use fenrir with negative combo in wisdom form.

For final Form, are you jumping and attacking, or just jumping or attacking? You can add a few extra hits by combining them. And as others have said, you need to wait a split second after the Reversal to do Quick Slide, otherwise the 'shroom just does Reversal again. Takes a few times to get the timing down, but it's not too bad; if you've done the others, you can definitely do this one.

Thanks everyone for the help!!It took like 24 tries but I got it with Wisdom form lol

Was I the only one that never realized that the command "Quick Slide" existed? I just pressed reversal lol and got it on my first try. This is... interesting. There's always something new to learn about a KH game :)

Final Form, use the reaction button when he's about to hit you, so you'll stun him. Jump and attack only once, the repeat.
