Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct will air on Wednesday, January 14th, at 6 a.m. PT. The upcoming online presentation will feature company president Satoru Iwata and crew. It will focus on spring 2015 Wii U and Nintendo 3DS releases.

Can't freaking wait. This is my last week off of school, so I'm fine with the time.

 

I'm expecting Majora's Mask 3D and New 3DS news, along with more footage of Xenoblade 3D. Same goes for Kirby, Smash DLC, and maybe Yoshi, Splatoon, and Mario Maker. Hoping for a surprise or two.

I knew that there would be a direct this month! I knew it!

 

I'm hoping for more info on Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, the official release date for the Amiibos, hopefully info on the Miiverse stage for Smash Bros, and maybe Zelda, Mario Maker, and Yoshi's Woolly World!

Star Fox is likely to come out in the Summer/Fall more than in the Spring, as they have only said a demo will be available at E3. This direct is to focus on Spring titles mainly and so it's unlikely for Star Fox to appear in this direct.

hell yeah! can't wait. I hope we have more info on Majora Mask 3D and the new features and I hope they show more stuff about Yoshi Wolly World and I doubt they will,but I hope we get some news about DS on Wii U's virtual console,its been a year now and we still haven't heard anything about that.

(Too much Xenoblade! Not that I have a problem with the game, but too many fans talk about it way too much!)

 

And good point Isaix, I forgot that there was even talk about DS games on the Wii U. And I don't see why they haven't done that yet because GBA games have been good on the Wii U, they just need to do more with it and add DS to the list too.

Hey guys, I just saw something on Tumblr that brought something to mind. What if Nintendo surprises us with one new title, being an Animal Crossing Wii U? It's something that could happen since there has been talk about that happening for a year now. Just something to think about.

I dunno, every Spring release direct has gone out its way to show off a Summer/Fall release or two.  I mostly want Splatoon info. Tons and Tons of Splatoon info.

When will Bravely Second release outside of Japan? I know unlikely, but one can hope.

I didn't think about  the Animal Crossing thing and that's something I've been waiting for. I'm also hoping for a Tomodachi Life for Wii U (of course I don't expect any announcement soon, I just want it).

 

They may just show it though. It's going to be playable at E3, and it's releasing way before the new Zelda. Taking Zelda's coming by November, and they've showed it off, I see no reason to hold off on Star Fox any longer.

I really hope they announce the new 3ds for europe and america. I dont have a 3ds (had one, but had to sell it) and really want to get one for zelda majora's mask. I hope it releases before majora since I want the collectors edition.

Can't wait, hopefully some good surprises are on the cards

The game is out in Spring in Japan so it has a good chance to appear, but we'll have to see

Well, Nintendo did confirm that they will reveal a new Animal Crossing game for the Wii U sometime this year. SO that's very likely (though I STILL need to pick up Animal Crossing: New Leaf lol).

Also, Nintendo is holding a Special Media Event directly after the Nintendo Direct tomorrow. Earlier in the day, before the Direct announcement, it was rumored that we'd be seeing the New Nintendo 3DS available in North America on the 13th of February. GameStop head of management stated they'd be holding trade in values toward the N3DS at $75 for a 3DS and $100 for the XL.

I'm getting a PS4 around that time and have hundreds of games to buy between all 3 next gen consoles. I personally won't have the money to purchase one when I really want it. As I said, it's a personal issue.
