I've been keeping my eyes peeled for news about kh3 for a while and i would like to share my thoughts and show you all what ive collected so far since kh3 was announced.

* ''ATRACTION FLOW'' will make it's dabue in kh3 and is a replacement for flowmotion, atraction flow enables sora to summon various disney rides and also allow him to use parkour.

* keyblade transformation will be vastly different from bbs mechanics.

* each keyblade transformation is completely different from each other.

* the command menue used for the numered kh titles is making it's return.

* drives seem to also be making it's return.

* the worlds will be "CONSIDERABLY" much more detailed and will be "HUGE" places to explore.

* "cable town" bears a striking resemblance to "land of departure"

* "twilight town" and "olympus coliseum" seem to be "unofficialy" confirmed.

* kingdom hearts 3 will take place immediately after ddd which means sora is still "15" since that was his age in ddd.

* the sora , doland and gooby trio will be returning

* sora will start of with his kh2 clothes and later he will have a new design

* the story will have a darker tone , sora will be more mature.

* kingdom hearts 3 has switched from the luminous engine to a "HEAVILY" modified unreal engine 4 because of rendering issues and other limitations.

* sora will be the most mobile and "OP" he's ever been by the end of the game.

* boss battles will be more extravagant and challenging.

* the Ai will be "MUCH" MORE intelligent especially donald.

* this will be the conclusion of the "xehanort saga" and will not be the final game also sora will still be the main protagonist in the next kh games.

 

Well that's everything I've got so far if I've missed anything feel free to let me know in the comments section bellow all information is from various interviews with tai yasue , tetsua nomura(<---GOD) and analysis from gameplay also like lightning there sure are alot of things returning isn't there? lol sorry i had to do it .

That really worries me. KH is at it's best when it's lighthearted and fun; it's not the kind of story that could ever adequately approach with mature themes and ideas. I really hope they don't lose sight of that.

i thought that too! i think it won't be as dark as an evil movie or something but i think it will be kinda equivalent to the tone of Birth by Sleep's story ; - ;

Remember kh com or bbs were terra gets possesed by xehanort an chokes the life out of aqua , or when venitus seys He'll kill terra and aqua in front of ventus or how axel murders vexen and zexion in cold blood or how about when larexene slaps namene or when marluxia uses namene as a hunan shield , Kh has tackled plenty of mature themes and we all still love it It'll be fine.

CoM was ten years ago, and personally I think BBS did a really shitty job approaching the darker themes (violence does not equal mature, btw). I've always had more fun in the series when it didn't take itself too seriously and just presented fun worlds to run around and bash baddies in. That's really all I want out of KH3.

i disagree with people saying a darker/more mature story is a bad idea. Let's consider the following. This game came out in 2002 many of the original players are now young adults. It makes sense to create a story that fits the age demographic of players. The players grew up and matured with sora and co so why not? Why not show sora mature just as the players did throughout the years.

CoM was ten years ago, and personally I think BBS did a really shitty job approaching the darker themes (violence does not equal mature, btw). That was 12 years ago they stoped doing that after kh1 but i get What you mean i personaly think that the conflict and a deep compelling story with lots of battles makes the story all the more more enjoyable.

You'd think the people who grew up playing KH are more mature, wouldn't you? But instead they clamber for darker, edgier KH games rather than coming to terms with a story that just keeps a consistent tone

Well there's certainly nothing deep about Kh's story. Compelling is subjective, and there ARE a lot of battles

so basically KH being shallow makes it more enjoyable

I.....guess....that's one way to look at it.....well everyone has thair own opinion nonetheless kingdom hearts 3 will sell more then ever and kh's popularity has grown to a large degree so it makes no difference i love the series for what it is That's all that matter
