Kingdom hearts 3 for summer or late 2016?

Posted

I think it's safe to say that Kingdom Hearts 3 won't be coming out this year otherwise they would have said by now. I think it will be released Summer 2016 or slightly later

I've honestly always believed mid-to-late 2016, with early 2017 being the latest I wouldn't mind.

Only one way to find out, and that is to wait.

...that's correct...

...maybe at 2017 to celebrate the series's 15th birthday, what do you say?

It won't come before late 2016

It depends on the release date for FFXV. I'm still convinced that they're at least targeting late this year for the fantastic marketing, but this will get pushed to 2016 to finish it off. This, in turn will push KH3 into 2017.

I think mid to late 2016 is a safe bet

My quess is late 2016 or early 2017.

Please keep in mind that 2015 is still a young year. We barely started 2015 and no company (be it Square Enix or any other) makes announcements about their huge titles this early.

Didn't you hear?

They said they'd rename KHIII to KHIV and its coming in. 3099 for PlayStation 6.

They will release another trailer confirming it's already "in development" at E3 this year.

Until then, they will focus on Remaking DDD, which is the new KH3,

BbS Volume 2, PS4 and PS5 ports of all the games, a worldwide release of Chi, a new theatrrhythm which will also be significant for KHIV's story and there is still a chance they'll cancel the project if Nomura doesn't succeed to reincarnate 13 times before 3099.

Seriously, anyone else thinks they'd be better off outsourcing the development to an American company to speed up process and work on a worldwide release??

(Besides, I think an American company would do a better job implementing the Disney worlds, especially as KHIV is going to be more realistically looking. Some Japanese gestures in KH 1 and 2 were kind of weird for Disney worlds, which are clearly set in a western context)

You'll have to buy a PS5 to play it, tho.

YES, to a universal releasing of Chi.

Hell naw, for putting everything else on the back-burner for DDD HD. Haven't we waited long enough?
