So, I just replayed the final battle of KH II and looking at the part where a ton of Dusks appear and are dispatched by Sora and Riku (I doubt they just appeared, only to spontaneously vanish) and I got to thinking. That would be an awesome fight.

So in KH III I hope we get a "Battle of 1,000 Heartless" type battle, only with ten times as many Nobodies as there where Heartless. Or better yet, 100,000 enemies made up of Heartless and Nobodies (and maybe even Unversed and Nightmare Dream Eaters if Vanitas comes back and the RoS is opened) That would be epic.

Okay but what if there's some kind of scene that puts Sora into a permanent drive form or something?  Beating the crap out of everything in Final form sounds awesome.

And 10,000 might be a little too much but I'd like more than 1,000 if there is a big fight like this. Although really that just depends on the type of enemies.

As long as there's a pretty good mix of enemies I think it'll be fun.  Just not 1000 knights and robot guys again...

You just argue for the sake of of arguing don't you?

tat or when people insist I'm wrong without any reasonable evidnce

Except it won't be like the battle of 1,000 Heartless. More more tactics. more opportunities for different moves. I don't claim to know exactly how they'll strike a balance between challenge, fun and length of time, but I'm sure they can do it. I think you're vastly underestimating Square's capabilities.

Then it'll take EVEN LONGER

A battle lasting an hour is something you save for the final boss or a secret boss, going beyond that is ridiculous

This has nothing to do with anybodies skills, it's about the limitations of a human being. A required multi hour challenging battle with no check points is not something the average player wants.

Like I said before, if they cheat, there are ways to make it work. Personally I like my idea of enemy bases. Like Sora rushes through an area beating a bunch of enemies, reaches the core, blows up the base, and your kill score SKYROKETS

What I'm saying it this happens just before the final series of boss fights, so it fits.

That actually sounds more boring and cheat-like to me, or like something that belongs in a Gummi Mission.

Okay I like the base idea as long as there's literally enemies everywhere around the bases.  Maybe a bunch of them using long range attacks while others attempt to swarm around Sora.  The number could just make it difficult to get close making it less like a cheat.  And if you really wanted you could still beat up all the enemies swarming you.

picture this with me: Sora's running through a narrow corridor, all around him there are Shadow heartless, so many you can't see the floor. Maybe Sora also has two other keyblades floating behind him. Maybe. Every time you attack, Sora doesn't break pace, so you can plow through Shadows. Meanwhile, in the balconies above some archer Heartless are firing on you, and Soldiers and maybe some other varieties of Heartless. And maybe sometimes special Heartless show up that if attacked the right away trigger a special move, like firing an energy beam. Then you reach the core, escape, and it blows up, netting you thousands of kills

Hmm. I don't think I'd get the same satisfaction from blowing up a core as I would from actually smacking thousands of enemies.

have you already finished playing the battle of 1000 Heartless 100 times yet?

Having a few allies alongside you while fighting waves and waves of various enemies from the series would be amazing. Maybe it could be during the Keyblade war?

That battle was always fun for me, but it was always kind of easy that's why I want a bugger, harder one.

Oh, here's and idea for the 100,00 battle. remember that flying Heartless swarm? What if some of the waves where like that and you had to get above them to smack them around and when the HP is gone it counts as 20 kills? But the HP bar is a long one. I think one full HP bar Like the length end game bosses have but singular would be enough for that to not take forever.

then it's either not really 100,000, or there's so much health that it makes no difference

and I'm still curious if you think it'll be fun to do the battle of 1000 heartless 100 times in a row

Well your way isn't actually 100,000 either.I'd probably get more aggravated by having to reload the game 100 times than the actual battle.

my way is't 100,000 because I know that it's not practical to have a person fight 100,000 enemies without cheating

If reloading's a problem, use an emulator and save state

I have no idea how to use an emulator. And when you think about it, the battle of 1,000 Heartless wasn't really 1,00 either, because even without RCs you usually wind up taking out several at once.

I understand where Hatok is coming from. 100,000 or even 10,000 is a bit too much. It'll be the same, repetitive process of doing the same combos and reaction commands over and over again for a very long time. Having that many enemies would mean that the enemies would HAVE to be ridiculously weak for you to defeat them in a reasonable time, which wouldn't be very exciting. It would be better to face a smaller group of tougher Nobodies than a large group of weak Nobodies. You would be getting the same amount of satisfaction defeating 1,000 instead of 10,000

And if not, hopefully post game you'll be able to do some coliseum challenge that increases the number to 10,000.

I don't think you should fight any 1000 Nobodies.

They aren't that important right now, and all Nobodies are too annoying to fight, while the Heartless just stood there.

All Nobodies are already literally so annoying to fight to regular groups. In a 1000 battle, even with waves, no thanks. Dusks, Dancers, Creepers, Berserkers...cheeeeeee... X-X

I kind of wanted a 1000 Shadow Heartless, but I don't think that would happen.

it could work in the Realm of Darkness

I didnt like the battle of 1000 heartless! NO >:(

i think a mix battle between Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Nightmares would probably be too much for people to handle in the beginning @ _______________ @'but then after a few seconds it would be so AWESOME!!

Even better. The Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed would be fighting AMONG ONE ANOTHER while fighting you.

Like in Kid Icarus Uprising where the Forces of Nature and Underworld Troops fight one another? And the Auron fight the Underworld?! :O

Everyone that says a team of heartless, unversed, nobodies, and nightmare dream eaters would be to much, all i am hearing is, you are scared of a little challange. i doubt you will face anything other than dusks, shadows, neo shadows, the little unverse i forgot there name, and something small from 3D which i never played.
