Keep In Mind, "Aladdin 2:  The Return Of Jafar (~1994)" Technically WAS The Story For Agrabah In "Kingdom Hearts 2".  Also, "TRON:  Legacy (2010)" Is Considered A Sequel To "TRON (~1983)" -- They Are BOTH In The KH Games!!
Don't Forget The Direct-To-Video Movies!!  They Have Done One Already -- "Mickey, Donald, Goofy -- The Three Musketeers (2004)"!!

I think you just answered your own question.

Yeah, because they have done it already, and I think it's easier for them to reuse worlds they already used and take the story from the next movie. Heck, they even consider at one point to do Fantasia 2000 along with Fantasia at the same time in 3D, but they didn't end up doing it, same with Tron.

Yes, and it probably will happen, because previous games have (as you mentioned) set a nice precedent. 

I just hope KH3 won't be 80% sequels, I like seeing new worlds and characters.

Of course. I just hope they finish off the Aladdin trilogy here, as it'd fit the fact this Saga is ending, and they've used each film in every big numberd entry. 

This guy wasn't in Lilo & Stitch but a direct to video sequel.

I don't see why not but with some of the series I would much rather see a different new world than a sequel.  Like I have no problem with Atlantica but Nemo or Atlantis based worlds would be more interesting to me than Melodies story.

I could see all that in KH3.

Pixie Hollow is from the Tinkerbell films which is a prequel to Peter Pan.
