tessaxmarie 35 Posted February 8, 2015 ALRIGHT, so this may or may not have already been discussed, but just in case, I'll bring it up again. I've been trophy collecting for KH1 in 1.5, and for some reason, Wizard's Relic has been terribly difficult to obtain. I've equipped Lucky Strike for Sora, Donald, AND Goofy and I've fought around 1,000 Wizards, and I've yet to see a Wizard's Relic. I've checked in all the good areas to find and fight them, but nothing seems to be helping. I know the drop rate is significantly low, but I feel like I've been looking for forever. Is anyone else having this issue?
hatok 6,413 Posted February 8, 2015 It's pure luck you're just having bad luck
HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted February 8, 2015 RNG hates you. It hates most people. There's not much you can do except keep pounding away, but it'll happen eventually. KH1 was notorious for those low drop rates.
tessaxmarie 35 Posted February 8, 2015 Bagh, what a pain. Thanks guys, I'll keep grinding away at these stupid things for another 30 hours I guess.
Psychic_Ketchup 367 Posted February 8, 2015 If it helps, I used the hotel hallway in Traverse Town. You can get the Defender there as well, but you might have it already.
tessaxmarie 35 Posted February 8, 2015 I actually have gotten a total of 3 Defender shields. Lol sucks how easily I could get those but not the stupid staff
DevilSpooky 77 Posted February 8, 2015 You can kinda manipulate the RNG to work with you, now don't expect this to make wonders but you can keep reseting it and hope for the best. What you should do is grind for an hour or so (just create a timeframe that's reasonable for you), and if you don't get it save and start up the game again, what this does is it resets the RNG every time you start up your game, so if for example you're working with an RNG that says the staff will drop at the 10000 enemy killed it will resets itself to 50 enemies for example, or it could reset to 20000 instead if you're really unlucky. But since you set up a time limit you're not wasting time with a bad RNG. Bottom line is, keep resetting after a while to change the RNG and hope for the best. 1 tessaxmarie reacted to this
