Hey there everyone, how's it going!? Well then, as I was searching for the latest movie news, an interesting article on Big Hero 6 appeared, and when I read it, it made me smile.  Rather than telling you, read the article for yourselves! :D

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Big-Hero-6-Creator-Opens-Up-About-Possible-Sequel-69850.html

So then, it seems that there's a possibility that a sequel can be in the works!  It'd be awesome if it were to happen, because Big Hero 6 was amazing, and I couldn't get enough of Baymax!  That robot is frickin adorable!  Anyways, if there were to be a sequel, do you think it would be a theatrical release or a direct-to-video release? Personally, I'd love it if it was a theatrical release!  And I think this would be the first time that a Disney sequel is added into the Animated Classics line, since sequels of other movies such as The Lion King or Hunchback Of Notre Dame are direct-to video sequels.  Anyways, the fact is that there's a possibility for a sequel!

Your thoughts on this? :3

I'd love it if they made a sequel. That movie was amazing. They also left a funny cliffhanger after the credits, hope the extend on that in the sequel.

While I wouldn't welcome a sequel to most mainline Disney movies because their direct to DVD sequels have proven to all mostly be crap-tier, I would love a full-swing Big Hero 6 theatrical sequel. Remember when

(This will ruin the movie for you if you haven't seen it, I'm serious)

Baymax got stuck in that portal? Since his healthcare chip was removed, maybe that Baymax in the portal comes back as a villain or something. Could work and Hiro having to fight another version of his best friend could be stressful and evoke some reasonable emotion in him.

That sounds super awesome! I still haven't seen the first film, but I definitely plan to. It definitely seems like a movie i'd love. ^_^

I doubt it. After the last Lilo&Stitch movie they decided not tho make any more full length sequels to their animated classics franchise.Treasure planet was supposed to have one, but they didn't go through with it because of this. now they only seem to do 30 minute specials aired in front of another movie as sequels and then only for the Princess movies. And it wouldn't be the first sequel in KH. Return of Jafar was in KH2.

I read that a Wreck it Ralph sequel was in the works and that's a Disney Animated Classic isn't it? Maybe they're changing their minds about sequels since their more recent movies are doing so well.

I dunno...

Wouldn't mind but I'm-a need that Wreck-It Ralph sequel first though

The Rescuers Down Under, Fantasia 2000 and Winnie the Pooh (2011) are all sequels part of the Disney Classics Line so it wouldn't be the first.

A sequel to Big Hero 6 would definitely be welcomed (I kinda feel the same about Wreck it Ralph too). I'm just not sure if I want it to be part of the Classics line, but I also don't see it being direct-to-video either as John Lassester pretty much stopped those when he became the creative dude at Disney.

It'll be interesting if the sequels will be made and if they'll be done by the Walt Disney Animation Studio... That said, I wouldn't be mad if there was no Big Hero 6 sequel. It's a very good standalone film as it is :)
