The incoming surge of FF titles on PS4 could just be the beginning

Posted
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward could just be the beginning of a lot Final Fantasy titles on PS4 in the next couple years.

  • Final Fantasy XV will be *hopefully* FINALLY released on PS4 next year.
  • The PC version of Final Fantasy VIII is likely to follow FFVII to PS4.
  • The iOS/Android/PC versions of Final Fantasy III, IV, V, VI and maybe Final Fantasy IV: The After Years are good chances of being ported to PS4.
  • Final Fantasy XII HD Remaster will hopefully happen.
  • Motomu Toriyama has confirmed to reveal a new title this year, it's unlikely to be Final Fantasy X-3 but even if it's not there's a chance it could still be on PS4 whatever it is.
  • Hajime Tabata has said before another FFXV demo could come out out later this year.
  • Dissidia Final Fantasy and Mevius Final Fantasy will hopefully come to PS4 as well.
  • Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy
  • Hiroyuki Ito and his team could finally release their long in development project.

I said "might just be" meaning it could be by the time it's finished. You're comparing a console that's already finished to one some people are still calling "next gen"? Lol,

Technically the PSP wasn't finished in Japan until a year ago.

Also we've just entered "Next-Gen" which means stuff like Ps4,Xbox One is now current gen so "Lol" on you bro

Again you misunderstand. Doesn't surprise me, lol. I said "some people are still calling next gen", I never said it was next gen. It'll be a fair comparison between PSP and PS4 in 2020 when Square is done with PS4.

Girls, girls you're both pretty. As is any and all FF games to come and go

I will throw all my gil at a remastered FFXII.

Don't you mean it's likely to be?

"There might be lots of Final Fantasy games on the PS4 because there's two that are coming soon, one coming sooner or later, and I think there should be eight more ports, and also this game might be announced"

Like

I don't doubt there'll be more Final Fantasy games on the PS4

but this is all just

I bet they port that

and

I bet this game actually gets made

Ports aren't really a reason to be excited anyways

Aren't you forgetting Crisis Core and DoC somewhere around in there btw?

No, I am not. And I hope they're ported to PS4, but there is literally nothing to suggest them at this stage.

As much as I want X-3, it's unlikely since they're busy with Mevius and FFXV.

there's nothing to suggest most of the things you listed, why stop with Crisis Core?
