Nope, not even close. There is another Saga coming after KH3.

Definitely not.  Nomura has stated that this is simply the end of the Dark Seeker story.  He wants to continue the games with Sora remaining the main protagonist.  Nomura also wants to be able to tell the story of BBS V2.  KH will continue at least till KH IV (or whatever the next main title is called).  Then there is also the fact that KH has turned into a staple franchise for Square Enix; they will not let it die so easily.

I just hope they don't pull something like Konami did with Hideo last week. I hope every KH they make in the future to have meaning and be canon to the main storyline. I mean, they could still make some side games for android or something as long as they don't shove them down our throats.

Doesn't really make a difference does it? I still followed KH announcements, etc before I joined this site.

Same here. Followed this site and KHinsider for years.

 

However it's just an assumption that he did the same thing.

 

Dunno, it sounds a little unfair that's all.

 

Besides, that might have been the best news he heard in quite a while.

Yes this the end...for Master Xehanort anyway. Kingdom Hearts 3 will end the Xehanort Saga but a new Kingdom Hearts game after Kingdom Hearts 3 will start a brand new saga, new adventure, new antagonist, and Sora still being the main protagonist. ;D

Doubtful: there's still a lot of story to tell. I don't really follow the main page on here, but I read somewhere Nomura was quoted saying something about at least another saga of 5 games, 3 main, 2 side (Do not take that as cold fact, I could be wrong), so I'd expect KH to be around another ten years. If the evolution of Final Fantasy means anything on KH's future, we might even have spin off games, or another prequel. 

If you love something you should let it go

 

I'm sure they'll continue to make sequels as long as the games continue to make money and the fans show enough interest.
