Ok, a little background first. Up until like last week, i hadnt played a KH game on a home console in like almost 5 years. And last week, i picked up a copy of 1.5 and 2.5, because...i wanted to even though i had no PS3 to play them on. All i had til this point was my old PS2 to play older KH games. A fiend of mine though knew how much i wanted to play BBS (which i have never played before) before going to boot camp and lent me his PS3 until i leave.

So as i was playing a KH game on my TV for the first time in forever, i realized how kinda spoiled i had been with hand held KH games. I personally really like handheld games. I like being able to take the game with you and play it where ever you want rather than only being able to play it at home. And having only played the handheld KH games (other than BBS) for the last five years, I found that i actually kinda prefer it. Now, i will play any KH game that i can, but playing it at the TV made me actually want to go out and buy a psp, and psp version of BBS so that i could have it with me where ever i went. I really liked being able to take KH with me where ever i went. Whether it be Days, or CoM, or 3DDD, i never realized how much i prefer it over playing on a TV.

Which do you like better? And I know that KH3 is coming out on the PS4, (and i think its the right choice) but is there anyone out there who kinda wishes that you could instead take it with you where ever you go rather than just play it at home?

Whats your opinion of handheld vs home console kh playing?

well i love handheld gaming over the TV  but its still nice to play on the tv.if u do wanna play bbs on the psp get the Final Mix English patch

the handheld games are all drastically worse than KH2FM

I miss having combos besides a basic three hit one

Aside the fact that handheld games are technically inferior to console games because of limited hardware,I prefer consoles because I like playing games on a big TV screen.I rarely used my GBA,DS or PSP to play them outside, when I go out I do other stuff.I always play my video games at home or in someone else's house,so playing games on a small screen to me is just inconvinient and that's why I like GBA and DS on Wii U so much.

But that's just my opinion,I'm sure handheld gaming is great for a lot of people.

Console is best because I am in a committed relationship with the Dualshock and I feel dirty using other controllers.

The biggest issue I tend to have with the handhelds is none of them are very well suited to action games that KH tend to be (CoM is kind of an exception, but that was garbage for different reasons). All the handhelds games tend to be really clunky and focus more on the Command Deck, which I loathe.

It all comes down to i guess where you prefer or are able to play games. Like, if you can spend more time at home rather than on the go. For instance, i  personally am on the go a lot and find it convienient to be able to play a game i love on my down time. When i get home, i usually am too tired to devote attention to a game on a screen- tv or other wise.

Although it would be cool if you could like, transfer the game between hand held and consoles. Like, be at home playing on your tv then when you need to leave the house be able to transfer the game and where you were to a handheld so you can keep playing in the airport or what ever.

I used to prefer handheld gaming over home console gaming but I recently started to lose interest when the games on a smaller screen I guess I prefer using a Tv to play games now.

Handhelds are superior, because you can actually take them to the toilet with you. Uuuuuunless you have a gaming system set up in your bathroom, which is just bizarre in itself.

Playing Kingdom Hearts on the handhelds systems sucks in my opinion. Believe me I did like playing 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, and Re:coded on the handheld back it was first release and it was a good experience. However in my opinion what those handheld games lack was the excitement I had when I play Kingdom Hearts 1, Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 2 on my big screen TV. I prefer playing the Kingdom Hearts games on the console because I can hook up my consoles on my surround sounds, play the games on my 55 inch screen TV, and laid back on my couch and have some epic chills when I epic the battles.
