I only have 2 games for my 3DS and that is Epic Mickey and Kingdom Hearts 3D.

I want to look for a new game to buy. Any suggestions which are cool games to play? Thanks :)

If you have the New 3DS and you're a fan of RPGs, I can't recommend Xenoblade Chronicles 3D enough. It only works on the New 3DS/New 3DS XL thanks to its upgraded hardware (I'm surprised it even runs on that, considering how big of a game it is), but it's a fantastic game. I haven't played the 3D port yet, but I've heard it was done well. I absolutely love the Wii version, though (As many people on here know. xD).

Aside from that... Super Smash Bros is a great game if you're a fan of Nintendo's legacy.

No, sorry. The New 3DS is basically an upgraded 3DS with improved hardware. Either way, there are still a lot of great games that you can play on the original! Are there any specific genres you're looking for?

I recommend Castlevaina: Mirror of fate, Sonic lost world, Super Mario 3D land, and Majora Mask. (If you're new to Zelda games, better off playing Ocarina of Time.)

I haven't played Legend of Zelda yet either. But I heard it was a great game too. :)

Alright. I haven't played a whole lot of RPGs on the 3DS, but Fire Emblem: Awakening is a great game if you're into tactical RPGs like FF Tactics. There's also the Pokemon series. The Pokemon games are relatively simple and not very plot-heavy, but the team building aspect is a lot of fun, and competitive battles make the combat system much more complex. If you go for one of those, I'd recommend Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire over X/Y, since there's a lot of speculation that there might be a Z Version that has the features from both X/Y, with some additional content.

Also, if you'd be interested in original DS games, there were a ton of great RPGs on that system. The World Ends With You, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Chrono Trigger, and the Dragon Quest games are just a few examples that come to mind. All of those are playable on the 3DS as well!

Shin Megami Tensei IV, Super Smash Bros. 4, Fire Emblem Awakening, Devil Survivor Overclocked, Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker, Shantae & the Pirates' Curse, Azure Striker Gunvolt

No problem! :D The World Ends With You is definitely one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite DS game of all time. There were a lot of great games on the system though, so it's kind of tough for me to decide.

I haven't played it, but I've also heard that it was a great RPG. I definitely plan on trying out the 3DS version at some point!

Yeah, I played Radiant Mythology in the PSP and the cool thing is you get to create your character. I wonder if Tales Os The Abyss that lets you create a character too. :)

From what I've heard, it has set characters who aren't created. I'm not sure that many JRPGs have that feature, honestly.

Bravely Default is really good. A fun twist on a classic concept.

It would be a game too. I think I saw that it had a demo version in the Nintendo E Shop. I'll download it and try it out thanks. :)

Try Bravely Default and if you like KH and FF a lot, Tales of the Abyss.

All Pokemon games (no matter which ones), Legend of Zelda OOT3D and MM3D, Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Tomodachi Life, Puzzle & Dragons Mario Edition bundle, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, classic virtual console games, Fire Emblem Awakening, A Link Between Worlds, and whatever you do, you 100% Absolutely HAVE to play Super Smash Bros for 3DS! It is my second favorite Smash game to date!

Monster hunter 4 I see thanks :)

Shin Megami Tensei IV is a really good game but it is a big learning process and could be a little overwhelming at sometimes but it has a really enjoyable story and the gameplay is fun as well.  Along the lines of SMT Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker just came out today and I heard it's really good I'll probably pick it up maybe, and if you are like me and like to play games in either release order or chronological order then you can get the first Devil Survivor Overclocked as well, which I will have to pick this game up as well lol, again they are both SMT games and are really learning games that could cause some rage but they are still fun games.  Another good 3DS game is Persona Q if you have ever played a Persona game and even if you haven't I would recommend that you pick it up it is fun and you don't need to have played the two games that they cross over Persona 3 and Persona 4 to understand it.  A Kirby game came out last year that was really fun but I can't remember what it was called lol.  There is a lot of good 3DS games but almost all of the games I said are really long RPGs that could take you at least 70 hours so you might want to have another game to play beside those lol
