Dragon Quest VIII is coming to Nintendo 3DS. August 27 appears to be the release date for Japan.

Those new additions sound cool, but we didn't get DQ7 localized so we probably won't get this either. But it seems like they've finished remaking all of the games now? Wonder if they'll go on with DQ9 next or start over from the beginning.

This isn't a remake. DQIX is on DS so it's highly unlikely.

Last time I played it I managed to beat the final boss, but the game crashed in the ending cutscenes, and I wasn't able to save ._.

 

I had such a hard time with that pink fat firetruck, maybe because Yangus had the hammer instead of the axe

I remember playing this when I was little and didn't know english in order to understand what to do, I also kept losing all the time so I got to hate it.

But now that I'm older I suppose I can appreciate its gameplay, story, graphics, mechanic, music, etc.
