Watch both The Conjuring and Annabelle. Another suggestion is Dead Silence.

Slither is pretty good, though it's equal parts comedy and horror, so I don't know how much that interests you.

It's not Leatherface, it's Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

With all those slasher flicks I'm surprised Child's Play wasn't mentioned. If you liked The Ring, you'll probably like The Grudge/Ju-On. Mama is another ghost film I enjoyed. Recently I watched The Babadook, but I didn't think it was scary so much as it was emotionally exhausting...

But if you're a real horror film fan, I strongly recommend Cabin in the Woods.

Yes! I forgot The Grudge/Ju-On. Love those films.

Night of The Demons

The Amityville Horror

Sleepaway Camp

Slumber Party Massacre

Return of The Living Dead

The Howling

Tremors

Ginger Snaps

Witchboard

Phantasm

House

House (1977 Japanese version)

I could go on quite easily, but this list is overlong as it is.

Tremors

Tremors is great, but it's as much of a horror movie as The Wicker Man.

True. I thought of that after I added it, but i'm leaving it in just because.

Those movies are pretty fun to watch.

Eeeesh, I knew I was doing something wrong o3o

Carrie (Both 1970s & 2013 versions)

An American Werewolf in London.

Jaws

Psycho

The Thing (Both the 80s remake, and prequel)

A minute long video of my college tuition should give you all the nightmares you need/shot

Jk well I keep thinking "The Hole". It's not that scary but yes it's scary.

Oh! And definitely "Don't be afraid of the dark"

I suggest :

- The Omen (1976)

- The Conjuring (2014)

- White (Korean Horror)

- Death Bell 1 & 2 (Korean Horror)

- Slit Mouth woman (Japanese Horror)

I recently watched a Japanese horror film my coworker let me borrow called Reincarnation. I thought it was pretty good.

Cabin in the Woods is also a must!
