Taking some inspirations from the Tales/Persona series, it would be cool to just hear the party member just talk among themselves about random stuff. You can hear Sora tell Donald "You're using too much Magic, save it" or Goofy saying to Sora "Let's team up Sora!" After battles Donald might say "That was tough/easy". I feel that it would make the game feel more alive.

Like the party chat in Bravely Default?

and donald could say "I'm about to heal you. Save your magic" so the player won't accidentally get healed by donald and heal Sora at the same time.

Ever heard of Character Development? Friction? Chemistry? Interaction? Those important things all characters are capable of doing?

ever heard of kingdom hearts? a series with next to no character development?

every heard of Disney characters, which are established characters Square is literally not allowed to change?

sure they could do it with OCs liek Sora Riku or Kairi... but if they wanted to develope those characters they'd have done it by now

epic and small character moments don't tend to fit in the same game

that's the problem, KH3 is concluding about a dozen character's stories, never mind introducing 13 freaking Xehanorts into the equation

They don't say anything after battle and what I said earlier are just examples I came up on the fly. It would be more back & forth conversation like

I just want to point out that I really like the idea, I like it when I see it on other games, I just REALLY can't see t happening in KH

and Xenoblade Chronicles.
