Well at least it's coming to ps4... hope i had an xbox one though. Really interested in sunset overdrive, halo: tmcc and this tomb raider game, as well as gears of course.

Can't wait to pick it up second hand on PS4. Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix aren't getting a dime out of me for their shoddy Xbox exclusive nonsense.

Microsoft is paying for all marketing of the Xbox versions and actually have their very own staff in Crystal Dynamics helping make the game.

It isn't surprising considering it sold better on Playstation, although it is always nice to have things confirmed.

Thank goodness. For a while, it seemed like it was going to stay an Xbox exclusive.

I doubt Crystal Dynamics couldn't have made the game without Microsoft's input. We all know this business deal was done because Uncharted 4 was originally due out this holiday and Microsoft offered to help TR compete against it. Now the game is launching without Uncharted 4 in its way and on a day where Fallout 4 is going to soundly push any hype for TR out of the way. It's hard to find benefits from this deal. Fans of TR are largely on the PlayStation and they feel burned by having to wait a year for the game. Those who play on PC will be like, "ah well what is a few months?" While those on Xbox will be playing the games that cater to them, which as evident based on how the previous TR game did sales wise (compared to the other platforms) over there, isn't Tomb Raider.

And here I was, complaining a few seconds ago that I wasn't going to be able to get this game since it was for XBox One, but now it turns out that it's coming to PS4 as well!  I am satisfied now. xD

I noticed :P

It's always just been a timed exclusive since Microsoft is helping make it.

"We're proud to announce that Tomb Raider will be available next year on PS4 and PC. Something we totally didn't, but definitely did announce years ago."

Ah, I see.  Interesting!  Well, since I'm gonna end up having a PS4 before Kingdom Hearts III, I'll be sure to pick up Rise Of The Tomb Raider, most definitely! :D
