Oh, don't worry. Nomura's already admitted VII Remake is a long time away. We'll get XV, KH3, XIV 4.0, Toriyama's project, maybe even XVI before VII Remake. Lol.

Now that FFXV's got a 2016 release date, when could we expect KH3 to get it's release date or part of that date revealed? I'm looking forward to playing FFXV, I already pre-ordered FFXV from Amazon recently, to come through Two-Day Shipping when it comes out. While, I also have a desire to play the FFVII remake, I can wait for it.

If that's the case, then why did they announce it? They should have waited so that people don't start getting pissy and impatient because they mentioned it.

Because they wanted people to buy PS4 now. If they waited till after these games were out people would be less likely to buy a PS4.

Because people were already getting pissy and impatient even when they DIDN'T mention it.

 

Either way, waiting never really mattered to me in the first place. If something great is on it's way, I'm always willing to wait for it no matter how long it takes. Maybe it's just due to the negative reinforcement I got from having to see several Sonic games get rushed in my time, but I'd rather a game take as long as possible until it is completed and ready for release. Sometimes that means changing up who's in charge of it, sometimes it means changing up the hardware it runs on, sometimes it means pushing possible release dates back another year. In the end as long as the goal is to finish it, any wait time is worth it for me. Like Miyamoto said (and I know too many people tend to quote him on this nowadays, me included, but it applies here), "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." On one hand we COULD have had Versus come out years earlier but then we never would have gotten anything close to what's actually coming next year. FF VII Remake will likely take it's time, but if it means that they're going to wait until they have enough clear table space to focus their attention on it so they can give it the time and care it needs so that with any luck it doesn't take as long as Versus/XV, then waiting is just a formality as far as I'm concerned. There'll be plenty of things to get hyped over in the meantime.
