Many people are suggesting that worlds like Agrabah, Port Royal, and the Pride Lands will return in KH3 (me included) but I just remembered that interview after E3 where Nomura said that the only returning world would be Olympus. But the worlds listed above still have so much potential for story left to go through, so what I want to ask all you people well versed in kh is how much truth is in this statement? I mean, only one returning world????

 

Also, I don't count the hub worlds in this, I mean they're plot relevant and all

I don't think he ever said that Olympus would be the only returning world, it's just that returning worlds would have a very limited chance of making it in. Pride Lands and Halloween Town have also already been confirmed to not make it in to the final game. I'm also going to assume you're talking strictly about Disney worlds, because Twilight Town is also returning.

It was stated that most of the Disney worlds will be new, but not all of them. So Olympus isn't the only one returning.

"New" could also mean "new areas".

So the worlds can return but we won't see the areas from older KH games again.

Thank you so much for clearing it up for me! I was under the impression that we would only get Olympus.

Even though I am kind of tired of Agrabah, I would love to see Aladdin & Jasmin getting married & the plot of The King of Thieves in general. Maybe some allusions to Sora's own dad since he was only mentioned in BBS?? lol. 

 

I honestly have a headcanon that Sora's dad died when he was fairly young (like 8 or 9) and that the reason Sora wears his crown necklace is because of his dad. But to be honest his mom only has 2 speaking lines and it was unnecessary to have both of his parents speak so it could be very possible that he's still alive. 

Dead Man's Chest is likely to make an appearance.

 

Agrabah could return given the fact that King of Thieves is yet to be covered.

 

Pocahontas could be there, but it isn't likely.

 

Neverland may show again, after all, Sora did promise that he would see him again.

 

Tron could make a return in some form.

 

Pride Lands and Halloween Town have been confirmed to NOT feature in the game.

 

Beast's Castle won't return as the curse had been lifted.

 

I doubt The Land of Dragons' return, although I'd like to see it.

 

Atlantica definitely won't return.

 

Alice in Wonderland could return if they decided to do something with the reboot, but it is highly unlikely since the plot is pretty much identical.

 

 

Monstro won't return since Pinnochio is now a real boy.

 

Deep Jungle is unlikely to return as Clayton, the only antagonist is defeated.

 

Keyblade Graveyard, however, is likely to return.

Agrabah- I feel like I've seen Agrabah far too many times, but if they do introduce Aladdin and the king of thieves then it might be good. i just dont want to see the marketplace again. The floating isle, or even the thieves hideout would be just fine. 

Tron- We've already done both versions, neither of which were particularly amazing imo. 

Halloweentown- first time around was great and I enjoyed the new additions the second time, but i feel like its done and there is nothing else we can milk from that movie.

Hundred Acre Wood- This one isnt quite as annoying because you don't technically have to play it, and i do enjoy the idea of finding the pages to complete the book, but i just wish they'd choose a different book. Maybe i the jungle book isn't included as an actual world they could at least present it to us this way.

Land of Dragons- I know we've only seen it once..but the sequel sucked..so f**** that

 

 

Im not going to go on and make a huge list of worlds that id like to see returning and how they would fit, but one thing i want to say is that i really enjoyed the concept of timeless river. The way the graphics and sound quality were turned down was pretty cool. just saying...i dont know, it was a cool world and i hope they make a variety of worlds like that 

I only see Port Royal and Pride Lands return because well...

 

There's still POTC: Dead Man's Chest and POTC: At World's End.

and there is also The Lion King II with Kovu and Kiara

 

 

As for Agrabah...

honestly, I'm sick of seeing that world.

Never seen King of Thieves but I heard it would be cool for KH3.

Maybe we could give it a chance

Not really, it'd deviate too much away from the original Disney Animation version. They've already established Tinker Bell in the Kingdom Hearts series as the classic Tinkerbell.

Now why has nobody mentioned 100 Acre Woods? Winnie The Pooh had a movie released in 2011! Winnie The Pooh was always prominent in Kingdom Hearts, and now that his recent movie has yet to be used in the series: Winnie The Pooh will return! TIME TO MEET THE BACKSON.

I always thought it was a given that 100 Acre Woods was returning. Lol, apparently not.

Oh man it's a bummer that Pride Lands isn't returning I saw so much potential for it to re appear.

Pride Lands could return through its Disneytoon Studios sequel. There's no source that dis-confirms Pride Lands presence in Kingdom Hearts 3!

Oh I'm fully aware of the sequel. But KH2 Atlantica was a major low point in the series for me. KH1 Atlantica had its downsides as well, although i didnt hate that version as much as most people do. At this point, i just feel like I've seen it too much. And it's not like the sequel was anything spectacular. Of course, if the decision to include it in this game would mean that they would have to replace a new world possibility, then i'll take new world any day. But if they said they finished the game, and decided to throw atlantica in as well the f*** it. The more the merrier. I would be pissed if this game wasn't just full of various worlds.

 

I'm definitely not opposed to a world where the swimming comes back into play. i think by now they might be able to master the mechanics behind it all and it'd be great. Honestly, as long as it's not another musical world, ill be just fine.

okay I got it. It's just hard to take in because it's one of my favorite Disney movies and I was kinda expecting it to be in the game. Hopefully the new worlds in kh3 will make for the Pridelands that could have been in the game.

I want to know why Pride Lands is not returning but Olympus gets to come back, at least an explanation. Even though I am excited for KH3 I am going to be furious if they dare to bring back WONDERLAND. Please Disney replace Alice with Rapunzel as a new princess of heart. I guess Agrabah will return but the only old Disney worlds on my list Im hoping to return is now The Land Of Dragons, Beast Castle and Disney Castle.

I agree with Halloween Town having not getting into kh3 because it's honestly been in most of the kh games. Some other new worlds need to take the spotlight for once.
