Many people are suggesting that worlds like Agrabah, Port Royal, and the Pride Lands will return in KH3 (me included) but I just remembered that interview after E3 where Nomura said that the only returning world would be Olympus. But the worlds listed above still have so much potential for story left to go through, so what I want to ask all you people well versed in kh is how much truth is in this statement? I mean, only one returning world????

 

Also, I don't count the hub worlds in this, I mean they're plot relevant and all

I'm here to clear up the issue regarding Halloween Town & Pride Lands not returning to Kingdom Hearts III. DesignTrend is a clickbait site and has been known for that for awhile now. They are not a reliable source and have no official evidence of the fact its not returning other than a potential mis-translation of the article by Ruliweb. Until an official translation is properly made, confirmed by an official source/reliable source, then it is not official and any piece of news like this is to be taken with a grain of salt. 

The news team is currently investigating the validity of the rumor and are working hard to get a proper translation from the Ruliweb article. When something is confirmed/denied, we will let you know.

Too bad Halloween Town is not going to be in KH3. I really wanted to see what Jack skellington looks like on unreal engine.

Idk why people are taking that rumor as fact. As Toominator said, there's really nothing showing that French "interview" is legit and seeing how Nomura has been tight lipped on returning and non returning worlds after 2 years, I don't see him breaking that silence now especially since KH3 is still in like mid development.

 

Even so, I could still see WHY they would cut those worlds since they don't really offer much anymore especially with the newer worlds coming in. We'll Halloween Town doesn't have much to offer anymore that is IMO.

I agree with Halloween Town probably not being in kh3, but I do think Pride Lands still has a chance getting into kh3 because it has a sequel.

Good, I was skeptical that Tetsuya Nomura would state which worlds will not return without even prioritizing more storyline reveals, Kingdom Hearts character renders, Disney character renders, more confirmed worlds, an official promotional trailer, etc. Usually, it's Famitsu Magazine in which Nomura officially confirms details. And a mis-translation? man, was he doing the interview in North Korea or something  :lol: seriously though, it's fake.

I personally wouldn't mind Halloween town again. In kh1 it had special design to give it that stop motion appearance, in kh3 that design can be further emphasized.

 

I would like Milan to have a second chance but considering the art direction the series had...I doubt it

I like to think of it like this: Most of the worlds in KHIII will be new worlds, such as Tangled and Big Hero 6 have been confirmed. I also assume this means non Disney worlds, as Radiant Garden, Twilight Town, etc. are all more than likely going to be included (even if it is just cut scene). However, perhaps Olympus Coliseum, maybe Agrabah, etc. worlds like this that have appeared numerous times will return. Then leave worlds like Pridelands or Port Royal to return for later games. I say this because, soon we will be out of new Disney movies to use. Add those new movies plus returning worlds not down to death in the next few games. Then what happens when we run out of films? Yes Disney will always create new films, but what happens when there is only four or five new ones left? Do we wait another ten years to have more worlds to add to the roster?

The future games on the PS4 will probably end up using the same unreal engine. And there's always a possibility of Halloween Town returning then.

I want to know why Pride Lands is not returning but Olympus gets to come back, at least an explanation. Even though I am excited for KH3 I am going to be furious if they dare to bring back WONDERLAND. Please Disney replace Alice with Rapunzel as a new princess of heart. I guess Agrabah will return but the only old Disney worlds on my list Im hoping to return is now The Land Of Dragons, Beast Castle and Disney Castle.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is the Tournaments in the Coliseum as in the first II games.

I like to see new worlds too, but I'd like to see an equal amount of old worlds and new worlds similar to what kh2 did, or if they can't do that they could at least have a few returning worlds for nostalgia because I might be missing some of them (especially Pride Lands). Also, I don't think most people on here will be willing to wait for about another decade one or two for their favorite Disney movies that didn't get in kh3 to get into kh4. 

I don't think that Agrabah will return because it went through both Aladdin and The Return of Jafar. I don't think a Tron world will be in it because also went through both movies.
