The proof is in this pudding here

I was replaying KH2 and I saw that at 1:00 Riku takes off his blindfold and yet there is clearly another one there

This could just be a texture error but I'm not so sure something this significant could be overlooked by Nomura. What does this mean for the future of Riku? What does this foreshadow for Kingdom Hearts 3? Find out, next time on Dragon Ball Z du-du-du-du duna-du-du-duhhhh

Probably a texture glitch.

^ This. It's like how in that one scene in BbS there was two Kairis. It's just a mistake.Peace!

What scene?

And i blame bad textures for this one

You see its symbolic because it shows that no matter what Riku will be blinded by the darkness.

He was Kakashi for a moment.

"Under this mask I have... another mask!"

Peace!
Maybe they did that on purpose? You know, to show that Kairi has some special abilities, like cloning herself xD XD

If that where the case they wouldn't have removed the 2nd Kairi in 2.5.
