I'm not really sure if anybody mentioned about the Gummi Ship. And I know we didn't hear or read about it from the interviews. 

 

I guess some people don't care about Gummi Ships.... 

 

So yeah. Do you think it will comeback?

 

Do you think the Gummi Routes or some new kind of interaction with the Gummi Ship may make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3?

I guess Sora could travel without a Gummi Ship, but since Donald and Goofy will be on the journey too, I'm sure the Gummi Ship will be back in KH3. It has also been a mini game in every numbered title so far, so yes, it will return

I think it should return. I've never been a fan of them (actually, that's the reason why I've got KH2FM+ at 97%, because that 3% is of Gumi Ships), but they've always been in the numbered KH games, they should return. Also, it improved a lot from KH1 to KH2, it must improve a lot more in KH3.

I think it should but I don't want the missions to be auto-scrollers but its a tradition in numbered KH games so why not. I think even if Sora or Riku don't use it(I'm hoping for keyblade gliders) then I think Donald and Goofy would still have to use it to travel between worlds

I think so and I hope it's similar to KH2's gummi ship missions. Those were a blast

I hate the gummi ship. It's annoying and looks pretty cheesy imo. But as mentioned several times above, this is a numbered installment, no way will they not have the gummi ship. They'll def make upgrades and do their best to make it enjoyable. I hope they make it a point to incorporate some of the story into it. In KH1, Sora and Donald fought for the control of the ship before crash landing into Deep Jungle and getting separated, and later on Monstro attacked the ship, making you remember that its not just a ridiculously colored polygon flying around dodging random debris and enemy spacecraft.

 

Ive said it once or twice before a few years back, i think it'd be interesting if there was a Toy Story world based on the first movie. And you have Donald and Sora once again fighting for control of the ship, some sort of reaction command could then take place giving you an option. Based on how you choose, you will crash land into Andy's bedroom and land either on the bed, where his new favorite toy (Buzz Lightyear) is being displayed, or under the bed where his old favorite toy (Woody) has been carelessly tossed. Obviously whoever you meet first would then become your party member for this world. I just think multiple choice could play a cool factor in the game, this way you get a slightly different experience every time.

I have a bad feeling that the Gummi Ship will return, yes, since it seems that's the main method of transportation for Sora to get between worlds and it's a numbered title.  I can't say that I'm too thrilled with the idea, as I rather disliked the Gummi Ship missions and found them to be a major waste of time.

This is JUST my opinion, but...

 

Gummi Ships > Keyblade Gliders

 

I loved the gummiship ever since I laid my eyes on it. Sure, Keyblade Gliders are kinda cool, but not being able to do gummi-routes just felt... empty, and to be honest, I liked building a Gummiship. I think people are just a little lazy, that's why they just want Keyblade Gliders instead: So they don't have to play a fun, and yet significant, minigame.

 

Or is it that people have lost creativity and just hated being forced to make a gummiship and actually think about all the pieces and parts? Either way, I rest my case. Gummiships should return. That is my own opinion.

 

(To those who don't want the Gummiship: Forgive me for my long ramble on. No offense (offence) to anyone, I promise.)

Umm, how is Donald and Goofy supposed to travel if not by Gummi ship? They don't have keyblades to have gliders, they can't just create a portal of light, and teleporting isn't really their style either. Gummi ships seem like the best method of travel for Donald and Goofy.

I all for the return of Gummi Ships, however, they should be completely redesigned.

I'm pretty sure the Gummi ship will make its return.
