Radiant Garden- Keyblade Academy

Ordinarily, the Radiant Garden Keyblade Academy was rather quiet, at least by the standards of a school. Not much happened, and it was rare for any sort of exciting events to happen in the years of peace that the world had experienced. However, on this particular day, that was about to change. The Masters of the Keyblade Academy were about to send a group of students off on what would be the most important journey since the one taken by Master Sora and his friends in the past. The previous day, almost 20 students had received letters from Master Sora. Each letter shared the same message, though with slight alterations to include the name of its recipient:

Dear (Student),

Hello, this is Master Sora. I would like to let you know that you have been selected to participate in a very important mission. This journey could take a short time, or many months. I apologize if this interferes with your busy schedule, but you will be excused from all missed lessons during this time period. I would like you to convene just outside the Academy tomorrow at noon, by the fountain. You will receive further instructions at that time. I wish you and your fellow companions the best of luck on this journey!

Sincerely, Master Sora

This particular letter and mission were unknown to those who were not participating, unless a participant had informed them ahead of time. It was just the small group leaving on this quest who had any sort of knowledge as to what they were about to face...

Indy arrived at the fountain early. He hated arriving late, and as such, arriving at a meeting very early tended to become something he'd been known for. Noticing that no one else had arrived, he decided to sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for his fellow students to file in. He knew that his best friend, Raidyn, would be going along with him. Aside from that, he had no clue who all would be joining. He just hoped that they would all be ready for whatever they'd need to face. As he sat, he became lost in his thoughts. This mission could potentially mark his first time ever leaving his home world of Radiant Garden. He could finally go out and see more worlds. He could meet new people. Most importantly, he might finally have a chance to track down the person he'd been trying to find for years... He managed to look calm for the most part, though he could feel his hands shaking with excitement. This could very well be the moment he'd waited years for.

Ember smiled as she took the opportunity, blitzing forward and slicing down vertically. As she did so, a strike of lightning struck the blade, increasing the damage on it. Somrene continued to walk forward, summoning Rapture to his side now. The Darkling watched his sister move, then nodded slightly. He could use this for certain. He slung his keyblade forward, throwing it with all his strength, so that Toshi was now sandwiched between two attacks.

Toshi felt instant regret at not being able to counter-attack.

Out of desperation, she cried, "Wind!" and used an Aero spell. Ember's close proximity should have warranted her to be swept up by the current, and allowed Toshi to see Somreme's oncoming Keyblade, and duck quickly before being struck.

Taking advantage, she decided to single out Somreme and attack him directly, moving from her previous spot towards him.

Ember was thrown to the side by the sudden onslaught of wind. She hopped back up to her feet quickly.

Somrene quickly summoned Rapture back to his hand, and used both hands on the blade to block the attack. Ember moved forward shooting off an blizzard spell while Toshi was occupied with her brother. Somrene stepped back, took both hands onto his keyblade's handle, then swung powerfully horizontally.

Toshi's Protector clashed with Somereme's Rapture. She tried hard to keep the blade locked and hold Somreme at a stand still.

However, she once again failed to take notice of her surroundings, allowing Ember's Blizzard spell to hit her straight in the back. The icy burst of pain almost caused her to buckled over as she grit her teeth and closed her eyes.

She was open once more. She quickly remembered Somreme, but already saw his strike with Rapture coming straight for her. She brought up Protector for defense, but the strike was too powerful for her to handle, and sent her flying back, tumbling onto her side.

"Ooh... that's gonna leave a mark..." Raidyn commented, not out of ridicule but concern, from the stands. He was too busy watching his classmates' battle to be concerned with whatever the others were doing at the moment.

Toshi sat up slightly, holding her ribs which were injured due to a the harsh impact of her fall. This is so much harder than I imagined... c-can I really do thisShe thought.

Ember made it to her brother's side. They stood together, keyblades summoned and a fist glowing with their respective energies ready. Ember smiled towards Toshi. Surely the girl had more than this right? She was a student at the keyblades academy after all, and summoned for this mission. "Come on, I'm not gonna hit a girl sitting down!" Ember exclaimed, her voice less mocking than encouraging. Somrene grunted his agreement.

With visible darkness coming off of Max now, his power increased quite a bit with this power generated, luckily he wasn't hit by the stealth sneak's attack, courtesy of Joel, as he gave the man a thumbs up as he also managed to hold the stealth sneak in place.

"Alright, time to kill this thing!" Maximilian said as he cast a magnet spell at the lizard, not to pull it, a weak one, simply to pull himself towards it, although at great speed and momentum as he used his keyblade, almost twice his size, with some darkness covering it, "Now die!" He said, thrusting at the things chest at full speeds.

"S-sorry..." Toshi apologized, standing up. She could tell that her classmates were trying to lift her spirits, but even then, it did not shake the feeling of her slowing losing her momentum in the battle.

I-I can't give up now. I just can't! She thought, raising up Protector with a determined look on her face.

"Good enough for me." Somrene said with a nod. He glanced to Ember, then using his off hand, used two fingers, made a fist, then four more. She nodded and leaped into the air. Somrene hopped up so he was right behind her, then unleashed a fire spell, which rocketed him forwards, and then his sister once he hit her. Ember dived down once she neared Toshi, striking downward with her keyblade. Somrene flew by overhead, and used another Fira spell to shoot towards her.

Despite her flaws, Toshi learned from her mistakes.

She blocked Ember's strike, and was able to sense Somreme's blast. She dashed away from the two, and decided to once again target Somreme as he was still mid-air by throwing her Keyblade at him for a Strike Raid maneuver.

(Like, other people can do things too. Not like Axel has to respond to every action individually.)

(In my case I feel like I've done enough for the time being, so yeah.)

Somrene spotted the keyblade flying towards him and quickly shot another fire blast above him, sending him shooting towards the ground where he rolled back to his feet. He began to run over towards Toshi. Enough with this magic, time to get dirty. Meanwhile, Ember was just getting started with the magic. She summoned a bolt of lightning to her keyblade, and then threw the now electrified weapon towards her opponent. The Ninja began to run towards her opponent, and let off three more blizzard spells as she did so.

Toshi decided that being crafty was the only way to truly counter against two opponents at the same time, especially considering her already low chances of winning.

With Somreme coming forth, and Ember throwing her Keyblade and firing her spells, she jumped over Somreme and, turning her heel, slashed him across the back with Protector, aiming to position him in the same spot she had been so that he would be hit by Ember's attacks instead.

These last few attacks from the Keyblade wielders were enough to take down the colossal lizard that the heroes faced, and it quickly collapsed to the ground. After fading away, the group could finally rest again... Or not, if they planned on moving out quickly.

Allitt was still shaking from her earlier fall, and she was now covered with grass and mud. "Ugh..." She groaned, rather irritated by Joel's choice of a team attack. She had hoped to do something to redeem herself for her terrible loss against Zion before, but this didn't seem to do a whole lot. Thankfully, there was still more work to be done for her, and she'd have plenty of time to make up for her loss later... For now, though, she'd have to keep going on in her muddy cloak, still annoyed by her pathetic follow-up from her attack. "Let's... just get moving." She muttered.

Just after she said this, the door to the restaurant opened, and Kuzco calmly walked out, still in his terrible disguise. "Alright everyone, enough lying around. We need to get back to serious work here, okay?" He asked the others, completely oblivious to the battle that had just taken place. He'd been talking with the chef in the kitchen the entire time. He took off his disguise as he said this, and now looked like his usual self, if his odd llama form could be seen as the normal Kuzco.

Pacha was also with him, and he still seemed irritated by Kuzco's attitude. He'd seen the fight, and had been hiding in the restaurant the whole time. Of course, he had no clue how Kuzco had missed all of that.

Saki sat down and breathed with relief that it was finally all over. "Phew!" He exclaimed. He was once again caught by Lisa, hugging him and being glad that he was okay. The Street Rat chuckled at his Bouncywild friend. So far, she's the second living thing to really care for him this much and the first enemy to become his friend! Guess anything could happen. "I'm glad it's over too, Lisa. You okay?" Lisa nodded to him. But the boy was slightly irritated by the Emperor's attitude.

"As you wish, Your Highness." He said sarcastically, sounding annoyed. This side Saki is rarely seen. But after a fight like that, the team could see more of that. Lisa then grabbed his arm and helped him get up from the ground. "Thanks." Saki then faced Kuzco. "Hey Mr. Emperor sir? Sorry to put a dent in your hasty schedule, but we just fought a freaking, giant monster a second a go, so just give us a second to rest." Saki said, walking towards Allit, who looked dirty.

"You need some help washing off? Me and Lisa could find a lake or pond or something for ya." He suggested with Lisa nodding.

Joel de-summoned his Keyblade/returned his Keyblade into Hammerspace as the Stealth Sneak disappeared. That... took way too long.

Immediately after that, Kuzco and Pacha came out of the restaurant. "Well, at least you guys are okay," he said to himself.

When Kuzco tried to get everyone moving again and Saki replied, Joel jumped into the conversation. "While we do need a bit of time to recover, those two shady guys are still quite a bit ahead of us, so it's best if we don't waste too much time."

He then made an announcement for everyone. "Alright, we have.... seven minutes to get ready to go. Hopefully that should be enough time to get everyone patched up. If there's anyone who still wants food, please order it to go and order it now."

Then, Joel noticed Saki talking with Allitt. Then he noticed Allitt's muddy coat. Welp, I guess I'm really in for it now. He cautiously walked over to the two (and Lisa).

"Um, maybe we could get you a change of clothes, if you don't have one yourself?" he asked Allitt.

Ember managed to call her keyblade back just in time, but it was too late for the blizzard spells to be stopped on her end. Somrene, reeling from the unexpected slash, just barely managed to summon some fire in front of him, in hopes of melting the ice. It worked, but only partially, allowing the ice crystals to impact at a lessened strength. He hit the ground. "Nifty." He grunted, getting up onto a knee. Playtime was done now. He struggled to his feet, and rushed forwards, leaping into the air. He cast Gravity on himself, and as he fell with increased speed, he swung his keyblade downwards towards Toshi, the gravity assisting his strength. Ember tried to help by limiting Toshi's movement, and shot off a couple more blizzard spells.

Toshi continued utilizing her strategy in hopes of finally getting the upper hand.

Seeing Somreme from above, she quickly side-stepped the large boy's blow, barely managing to do so due to Somreme's increased speed and power. Nevertheless, she once again escaped from harm's way, with Ember's blizzard spells having no other path but towards her brother.

Somrene tanked the blows, the hefty ice crystals shredding his scarf and looser clothing. He grunted in pain, and stood up to his full height. He would be fine, but for now this needed to be over. He didn't let Toshi out of his sight, moving forward and swinging sideways, then upwards. Ember also moved in at the same time, and called down a thunder spell as she rushed in. That couldn't be simply dodged to head towards her brother.

Toshi hit a roadblock in her strategy as he had no time to simply evade the siblings' oncoming blows.

Out of desperation, she cast another Aero spell around her, but in doing so left her wide open for both Somreme's attacks and Ember's Thunder spell to land a direct hit. The impact of the blows combined with the shock of the lightning was enough to once again propel her backwards.

She landed flat on her back, Protector being knocked from her hands and laying at her side. The pain was much harsher this time and limited her ability to stand back up once more.

Kuzco was clearly irritated by Saki's sarcastic remarks towards him. "Do I need to remind you that I'm the emperor? King of the world? I'm not taking orders from a lowly peasant like you." He spoke confidently.

"Letting them rest wouldn't be a bad idea, though. Unless you want to go off on your own, that is." Pacha told Kuzco, hoping to convince him to listen to the students' suggestion. "Seven minutes wouldn't slow us down too much, right?"

"Fine..." Kuzco sighed. "Seven minutes, then we move out again. No whining when we're leaving!" He walked off to the side and sat down, a little frustrated by his new company's behavior.

Allitt didn't seem particularly happy with Saki's suggestion of helping her find a place to clean herself. "I'm not going to use any of the lakes here. Who knows what weird stuff's hiding in the water?" She pointed out. "Besides, we don't really have the time for that, anyway." She muttered. She glared at Joel as he approached, but her angry look was substituted with one of confusion at his suggestion. "What, you expect us to find a clothing store out here in the middle of a jungle? I'll just have to deal with this for now, I guess." She muttered.

(Sorry, I've been really busy.)

Zar went up to Allitt, "I want your help... No, I need it. I want to talk to you privately though..." Zar said. He started walking away but turned his head, "I have something you want to know something interesting you might like to know." Zar walked away to a lake and just sat there looking and behind him Raz shows up. "So what are you going to tell her if she does come?" Raz asks. "It does concern you... But you don't need to know." Zar said, hoping Allitt shows up.

"Uh, well, we did find a restaurant here," Joel retorted. "But what I meant was that... maybe... you could... borrow a spare change of clothes from somebody else?"

... Wow, that sounded really weird to say, Joel said to himself.

Allitt listened to both Zar's request and Joel's suggestion, looking a little angry and embarrassed by the latter statement. "I-I..." She figured that going with someone else's spare clothing would be better than her muddy cloak, at least until she could find something for herself. "... Fine." She sighed. "I'll let you all figure out who gives me something, I guess..." She looked over where Zar left. "I'm a little busy at the moment." She walked in his direction, eventually finding him by the lake. "What is it that you needed? Why did we need to come out here, anyway?" She asked in a slightly annoyed tone, though she tried to hide it for the most part.
