Radiant Garden- Keyblade Academy

Ordinarily, the Radiant Garden Keyblade Academy was rather quiet, at least by the standards of a school. Not much happened, and it was rare for any sort of exciting events to happen in the years of peace that the world had experienced. However, on this particular day, that was about to change. The Masters of the Keyblade Academy were about to send a group of students off on what would be the most important journey since the one taken by Master Sora and his friends in the past. The previous day, almost 20 students had received letters from Master Sora. Each letter shared the same message, though with slight alterations to include the name of its recipient:

Dear (Student),

Hello, this is Master Sora. I would like to let you know that you have been selected to participate in a very important mission. This journey could take a short time, or many months. I apologize if this interferes with your busy schedule, but you will be excused from all missed lessons during this time period. I would like you to convene just outside the Academy tomorrow at noon, by the fountain. You will receive further instructions at that time. I wish you and your fellow companions the best of luck on this journey!

Sincerely, Master Sora

This particular letter and mission were unknown to those who were not participating, unless a participant had informed them ahead of time. It was just the small group leaving on this quest who had any sort of knowledge as to what they were about to face...

Indy arrived at the fountain early. He hated arriving late, and as such, arriving at a meeting very early tended to become something he'd been known for. Noticing that no one else had arrived, he decided to sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for his fellow students to file in. He knew that his best friend, Raidyn, would be going along with him. Aside from that, he had no clue who all would be joining. He just hoped that they would all be ready for whatever they'd need to face. As he sat, he became lost in his thoughts. This mission could potentially mark his first time ever leaving his home world of Radiant Garden. He could finally go out and see more worlds. He could meet new people. Most importantly, he might finally have a chance to track down the person he'd been trying to find for years... He managed to look calm for the most part, though he could feel his hands shaking with excitement. This could very well be the moment he'd waited years for.

"Just let me out on this one guys!" Saki said, responding to Artimus. For this one, he just didn't want to fight this Heartless. But then came Luna with a slap that will bring anyone back to their senses. And it worked on Saki....Mostly. "YOW! Child abuse! Child abuse! Child abuse!" After hearing Luna's tone and words, Saki immidiatley jumped up, remembering what he was fighting for and at the same time, afraid of being slapped again. "You're right Luna! Come on Lisa! Let's try to help out." He said, running back into the field with Lisa behind him. "Areo Blast!" A ball wind came out of Saki's Three Wishes Keyblade, sparkling towards the eyes of the Stealth Sneak. If there was only one way to be useful....Oh wait. There was."Hey, I know! How about I act as a distraction to the Stealth Sneak? That way, while he's chasing me around, trying to catch the Street Rat, you guys can hit him hard with a strong attack? I personally love that idea. Cause it includes me being chased. And I LOVE being chased!" The Street Rat suggested.

"Double idea!" Aello shouted. "I vote we keep your idea, but we both do it, switching off in a pattern of flashy attacks and movement!" Confusion tactics, one of the plans that had worked best for them in the past when they did partner spars. "Of course, anyone else is welcome to join!" Without waiting to see if her friend would follow, she knew he would, she blasted herself forward with wind magic around her feet, hurling an aero at the place the monster had been, but carefully making sure that it wouldn't hit Joel. As her feet hit the ground, the acrobat used her momentum to shoot herself up higher into the air, coming down with a speedy vertical slash. "Dodge that, invisomonster!"

".......Great Scotts, that's GENIUS!" Saki said, snickering. "Alright Lisa. You help Aello with the attacks. I'll be teasing and annoying to that monster! Heh heh!" Lisa nodded and ran to the monster. Her tail then coiled up, like it was a spring. She jumped in the air, landed on her "springy" tail, compressed it against the ground, and Lisa high up in the air. She took out her slingshot and aimed it at the monster, shooting multiple projectiles at it, while most of them hit the ground, creating explosions. The Boucywild landed next to Aello, giggling at what she had done. "Great job Lisa! Now it's my turn!" Saki ran towards the monster as well even though the smoke from the explosions hadn't cleared up yet. "Aero blast!" A ball of wind spiraled through the smoke, heading to towards the eyes of the Stealth Sneak. Saki blew a raspberry at it, hoping to anger it. "Na na na na na! Bet you can't catch me!" He pulled down his eye socket and stuck his tongue out, then he pulled his ears and smiled, trying to make fun of the monster. "Come on, Mr. Stealth Freak! Follow the bouncing Street Rat!" He said before running away and hopping while smiling.

Zather smiled with the confirmation of the Nexus team. As far as he was concerned, the only one he truly needed on the battlefield was Annistha. He did have to grudgingly admit having more made things easier and, in some cases, faster, but his sister was the only one he needed. Unfortunately, he was concerned that she felt different on that subject.

~*Inside the Nexus*~

"What are you talking about?" Annistha asked suspiciously.

"Oh, I was just wondering if in the back of your mind, you were hoping a certain tall, dark wielder had been left open for a team up." Zather teased.

"Somrene?" Annistha replied. "Why would I want that?"

"Time will tell." Zather said casually, feeling amused that Annistha hadn't seen it yet.

Maximilian watched as his teammates did all sorts of things, specially saki, who had run away, but quickly came back, Maximilian was glad that he wouldn't have to magnet the boy back into the fight, because max would definitely do that, he stood with his guard up as the stealth sneak had attacked Lucas, and he decided to go along with Saki and Aello's plan.

"Alright good! when hes distracted I can magnet him and possibly knock him off balance, and you and Aello and everyone else converge on top of it!" Max spoke to the team, as he knew exactly what to do, which was wait until the stealth sneak did something.

"Hey Artemis what was that scream back there? you mentioned Allit?" MAx asked, clearly teasingly (#Noregrets)

Joel's Gravity spell pinned the Stealth Sneak down, allowing the others to all hit it with their attacks. After taking a bit of damage, the air where the Stealth Sneak was began to take color... The monster had finally been revealed. Once it was able to move again, the green chameleon looked straight at Saki, and jumped over to him. It landed directly in front of him, and swiped one of its claws at the child, hoping to take out its current threat quickly, and then move on to the rest.

"Alright..." Phil began to write something down, but realized that Toshi didn't give him a name to use. "It would've helped if you gave me a name..." He wrote down "Quiet Girl," then looked back up at Toshi. "If you've got a name, go ahead and give me that so we can change it before the Games begin." He told her, then walked off. "It looks like we're done registering entrants for now. The Games start in an hour!" He warned the group, then entered the coliseum.

Indy let out a soft groan in response to his friend's puns. "Uh, right... Well, sounds like we've got an hour before things begin. If we go up against each other, let's make sure it's a good fight." He grinned.

(I'll post the brackets and begin the tournament tomorrow since it's late. I just wanted to get out a quick post to move things along)

"This is gonna be great!" Ember exclaimed loudly, very excited that she was going to end up being able to participate in the fabled games of Olympus Coliseum. Somrene smiled towards Zather.

"Best of luck to you and your sister. May the best siblings win." He said with a nod of challenge. Though he did not display it as obviously as Ember, he was also excited by the premise of fighting for glory and prizes. After all, fighting was one of his few marketable skills, so earning things with it was always pleasing.

*asks to gives name, walks off* See, Phil is a dick.

"O-oh, sorry, my bad! My name is Toshi!" the young heroine quickly called out. Having a name such as "Quiet Girl" would really go against what she was trying to accomplish, and on top of that, it just sounded really weird.

"Z-ZOINKS!" Saki exclaimed after fully seeing the Stealth Sneak in front of him. At that moment, he couldn't stop from running into it, so he had to think quick. Just when the giant Heartless slashed at Saki, he used his Aero Blast spell on the ground, blasting him into the air and above the Stealth Sneak.

"YeeeeYAHOOOO!"

The Street Rat managed to land on the back of the Stealth Sneak. An idea then appeared inside his mind. Was he going to do it?......Yes. Why not? It's in his nature to do crazy things. The boy slammed his Keyblade on the Heartless's back and kicked the sides with his feet. "Come on! Giddy up, ya big monster! Ride like the wind!" He said in a seemingly Texas accent. He wanted to have a little rodeo. It seemed fun! Did he think about it?....Nope.

Eventually, the tournament brackets were posted on a scroll within the coliseum's courtyard. The first match had one competitor scratched off. They had apparently decided to drop out at the last second. Phil sighed. "Well, seven's better than six, I guess." He walked over to the center of the coliseum. "Welcome everyone, to the Mt. Olympus Games! Our first match tonight is Team Energy Stone vs Nexus!" He quickly announced, then stepped off. The contestant that dropped out made him a little too bothered to give a full speech.

Indy and the other students sat with the crowd, ready to observe the fight that was about to happen. Of course, the three competitors in this match were down in the arena. Indy watched them curiously. He hadn't seen Sandrew or Nexus fight much, so he had no clue what to expect from them. He was also wondering who the other two competitors were, especially the one he'd be fighting...

Oh crap, Joel exclaimed internally as he watched the Stealth Sneak become infuriated with Saki. The Heartless then tried to do a weird back-body slam in order to squish Saki. Now would be a good time to know Zero Gravity... But wait...

"Magnet!" Joel pointed his Keyblade, and an etheral orb of magnetic force appeared right above the Stealth Sneak.

"Help me out Max!" Joel shouted, hoping that with their combined efforts they would be able to keep the Stealth Sneak suspended long enough for Saki to act.

"On it!" Max said as he cast magnet alongside Joel, an ethereal orb appearing on top of the stealth sneak, combining with the orb already there, they fused together, almost tripling their potency. Max had an earth spell prepared in case that didn't work, but he'd keep it pinned down for the others to finish it off.

"Keep it steady!" Max said, still holding the orb together.

(Pretty good timing, Scrap xP)

The power of Joel and Max's combined Magnet spells exceeded his expectations. This should be able to keep this guy incapacitated for a few moments.

"Now, everyone else, give it all you've got! Take this thing out!" he ordered the rest of the team.

( no prob magnet bro, you ninja'd me I was just making my post)

They had apparently decided to drop out at the last second. Phil sighed. "Well, seven's better than six, I guess." He walked over to the center of the coliseum. "Welcome everyone, to the Mt. Olympus Games! Our first match tonight is Team Energy Stone vs Toshi!" He quickly announced, then stepped off. The contestant that dropped out made him a little too bothered to give a full speech.

Indy and the other students sat with the crowd, ready to observe the fight that was about to happen. Of course, the three competitors in this match were down in the arena. Indy watched them curiously. "It's going to be interesting seeing Toshi have to fight Raidyn... I don't think she's ever had to do that before." He noted, mostly to himself. He hadn't seen Sandrew fight much, so he had no clue what to expect from him. He was also wondering who the other two competitors were, especially the one he'd be fighting...

The Stealth Sneak thrashed about with Saki on its back, trying to fling him off. It eventually ended up throwing itself on its back, hoping to crush Saki beneath its weight.

Sandrew dusted the salt off of his pants, the pretzels were good. Darn good. But now it was time for him to "fight". He sighed. This is needless, why? He didn't know. He took his place in the ring, waiting for Raidyn to show up.

"Yee-Haw! Yahoo!" The boy was actually enjoying himself. He could even be called the first child and Street Rat to ever ride on a Heartless like this one! "This is SO much fun! Hehehe!" The Street Rat's rodeo went on and on until the "bull" decided to throw itself on its back, or at least until Joel and Max managed to stop it. "Woah Woah!" Saki exclaimed, almost falling off. But he did regain balance and climbed up on the Stealth Sneak. "Hey thanks guys! Heh heh! Hey Lisa! Shoot!"

The friendly Bouncywild nodded to Saki's command. She pulled back her slingshot and out came a purple sphere hurling towards Saki. The boy snickered and jumped up, summoning his Keyblade and raised it up in the air, ready to hit the projectile. "Aaaand SMASH!" His Keyblade hit the purple sphere downward, heading right into the Stealth Sneak's eyes. Hopefully, the additional speed and power of Lisa's shot caused a lot of damage. Saki then landed on the Heartless' mouth and leaped off of it to land on the ground like it was a diving board. Once he landed, Saki jumped in the air and laughed at the fun he had. "Hah Hah! I had a great time! I wanna do it again!" He exclaimed. Saki was then embraced by a hug from Lisa, who, of course, giggled.

Toshi sat down with her teammates. She shared the same curiosity that Indy had in Sandrew's abilities. She was more informed of Nexus dude to fighting alongside her not too long ago, but she was still curious to see the full extent of her ability.

And hopefully, whatever they have, I can overcome it... Toshi thought.

"Whoo-hoo, let's go!" Raidyn said, immediately appearing by Sandrew's side. "I got a good feelin' about this, Sandy, how about you?" he then asked.

Zather gave Somrene an odd look before replying.

"And to you, as well." He said, though it sounded a little like a couched response.

Wishing luck to a potential adversary was something Zather didn't understand. If someone was opposing you, you took them down hard. You didn't compliment them. Annistha claimed to understand it, but that just made the Dark Twin worry about his sister.

[Nexus Shift]

"And y'all be careful out there." Annistha added to the Valentine Siblings. "I think we used the med bay on the ship enough today."

With the announcement of the first match, Annistha rolled her neck. So, Raidyn and Sandrew. They proved a good pair previously. It would be interesting to see if they could work well togther again. Oh, speaking of partners.

~*Inside The Nexus*~

"Remember, these are our allies." Annistha said. "Don't go full out on them."

Zather rolled his eyes.

"You waited until now to tell me that?" He replied.

"Yeah, well, I thought we'd be fighting something like Heartless for most of the matches, like Master Sora did." The Light Twin answered with a sigh. "We may need these people, so we're gonna scale back. Killing fellow students won't look good."

Zather waved a dismissive hand.

"Fine." He said. "I'll keep the killer instinct in check. But I'm not laying down for them. They're gonna have one heck of a fight on their hands."

Annistha grinned.

"I wouldn't have it any other way."

While the three students in the ring began to prepare for the battle, Indy looked over at Toshi. He was surprised that she was fighting by herself. "Hey, Toshi, you sure about going solo? I know that you're not weak, but everyone else has a partner. Even Nexus counts as two people when you think about it." He pointed out. "I mean, I'm not trying to make you worry or anything... Just wondering why you decided to go alone."

While the boy talked to his friend, another person walked over to the rest of the seated competitors at the top of the stands. This person, a short girl who seemed to be about the same age as most of the students, silently sat down with them. She had long red hair, and wore a long blue robe that reached down to just above her feet. She watched the arena with a cold stare, and didn't speak to the students. Just like the Keyblade wielders, she seemed to be out of place in this world...

The Stealth Sneak took some damage from Lisa and Saki's combined attacks, although it didn't do as much as the boy likely hoped it would. Once the Magnet spell wore off, the creature crashed to the ground, but quickly scrambled back on its hind legs. It glared at Saki and Lisa, then fired another bolt of energy from its eyes at the two.

"Hey, Toshi, you sure about going solo? I know that you're not weak, but everyone else has a partner. Even Nexus counts as two people when you think about it." He pointed out. "I mean, I'm not trying to make you worry or anything... Just wondering why you decided to go alone."

"O-oh.... well... I just thought that I could fight for myself this time," Toshi said, trying to piece together the words as well as she could. "I mean, you might think I'm not weak... but the truth is, I think I am. B-But, that's why I want to fight alone. I want to prove that I can be strong without relying on you or the others. Kind of like how Raidyn is..." She said, her face wearing a light red shade after mentioning Raidyn.

"I see..." Indy hoped that he wasn't smirking at all after noticing that Toshi blushed after bringing up Raidyn. "Well, I'm sure you can prove that, Toshi. Master Sora wouldn't have chosen you for this mission if he didn't trust your abilities, right?" He reassured her, hoping to calm her down a bit. "Good luck when you get on to your match. Maybe we'll end up facing each other, depending on how our fights go." He said, although he had no clue who his opponent here would be... After saying this, he noticed the girl who had just arrived. If she's up here, does that mean she's one of the other people in the tournament...? He silently wondered.

"Thank you. I think I'd like that," Toshi said, feeling good that Indy had confidence in her.

"Aww. The poor wittle Heartwess fall down on his back. Hah!" Saki teased. Once Lisa let go of Saki, he turned back to the Stealth Sneak, laughing at him. "Is that all you got Stealth Freak?" But his laughter soon stopped when the Stealth Sneak got up and glared at him and Lisa. "Ohhh....Crapbaskets." He said before the bolts of energy was shot at them. Saki managed to protect him and Lisa thanks to his Keyblade, but in effect, it pushed them way back and made the two hit a tree. And then a branch fell the poor Street Rat's head. "I see shiny stars...." He laid down, temporarily knocked out. Lisa, being close to Saki, kept shaking him, panicking that he was dead. After some shaking, the Boucywild glared and growled at the Heartless who hurt her best friend. She got up and marched over to the Stealth Sneak. Her eyes were obviously mad with anger. Her fists were clenched with rage. And what Lisa did next....Was stretching her ears, turn around, and slapped her butt in front of the Giant Heartless with no fear at all to insult the beast. She then ran away to the right, having a plan in mind.

Toshi sat down with her teammates. She shared the same curiosity that Indy had in Sandrew's abilities. She was more informed of Nexus dude to fighting alongside her not too long ago, but she was still curious to see the full extent of her ability.

"I'm feeling about as confident as ever, one could say." Sandrew stated. It wasn't a lie, he felt the same as always: lacking in confidence. So what if they're facing probably the third strongest member of the team overall, and that he was slow and weak and could barely lift his keyblade. So what? There's a reason to be super confident, right? He sighed again. "Look, I'll do my best to support you, but if I'm in the mix too much I'll get knocked out quick. Keep them off me." he whispered to Raidyn.

"Of course, and I think I picked up a new trick, too. But let's try to avoid using it..." He whispered back. "So... How does this work? Is there like a timer or something that says "start" or whatever? I've never done any sort of tournament except in card games..."
