Radiant Garden- Keyblade Academy

Ordinarily, the Radiant Garden Keyblade Academy was rather quiet, at least by the standards of a school. Not much happened, and it was rare for any sort of exciting events to happen in the years of peace that the world had experienced. However, on this particular day, that was about to change. The Masters of the Keyblade Academy were about to send a group of students off on what would be the most important journey since the one taken by Master Sora and his friends in the past. The previous day, almost 20 students had received letters from Master Sora. Each letter shared the same message, though with slight alterations to include the name of its recipient:

Dear (Student),

Hello, this is Master Sora. I would like to let you know that you have been selected to participate in a very important mission. This journey could take a short time, or many months. I apologize if this interferes with your busy schedule, but you will be excused from all missed lessons during this time period. I would like you to convene just outside the Academy tomorrow at noon, by the fountain. You will receive further instructions at that time. I wish you and your fellow companions the best of luck on this journey!

Sincerely, Master Sora

This particular letter and mission were unknown to those who were not participating, unless a participant had informed them ahead of time. It was just the small group leaving on this quest who had any sort of knowledge as to what they were about to face...

Indy arrived at the fountain early. He hated arriving late, and as such, arriving at a meeting very early tended to become something he'd been known for. Noticing that no one else had arrived, he decided to sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for his fellow students to file in. He knew that his best friend, Raidyn, would be going along with him. Aside from that, he had no clue who all would be joining. He just hoped that they would all be ready for whatever they'd need to face. As he sat, he became lost in his thoughts. This mission could potentially mark his first time ever leaving his home world of Radiant Garden. He could finally go out and see more worlds. He could meet new people. Most importantly, he might finally have a chance to track down the person he'd been trying to find for years... He managed to look calm for the most part, though he could feel his hands shaking with excitement. This could very well be the moment he'd waited years for.

Sandrew breathed heavy, his strength was nearly drained. There wasn't much he could do, but what he could, he would. He rushed up to the three of them, mid-flight, and grabbed hold of Raidyn, and then throwing his Keyblade downwards, forcing them all to the ground, however, as they began to land, Sandrew turned Nexus to the ground, using Raydin as a makeshift hammer, and crushing them down. He followed this up with one last earth shot, knocking Nexus off of Raidyn and out of the ring. Afterwards, he passed out, with no energy left to fight any more.

"OW! That smarts!" Raidyn cried out after being used like a weapon.

While there was some grunts of pain from Annsitha as Sandrew slammed her down then with his shot of earth, she remained wrapped around Raidyn, one hand firmly on his collar, her blade arm around his torso. Even her legs attempt to get around his. Sandrew's original slam would have been enough to stop the ring out, but his final earth shot propelled both Annistha and Raidyn over the edge for a ring out.

"Oh, no no no!" Raidyn said, nearing the ground. He quickly wriggled out of Nexus's hold and used his/her body as a springboard.

"Sorry! All's fair in love and tourney fights!" He cried, jumping back towards the ring. However, due to his throbbing head after the hammer shot, he lost his balance landing on the ground and tumbled over near Sandrew, face and stomach facing the ground.

"... Well... that coulda gone better..." Raidyn said, his words echoing in the ground. Although, he was still grateful for the outcome and that he didn't have to risk using up any more of his soul energy.

"It's fine... I bought some potions, we'll be at about our peak for next round..." Sandrew coughed. "Sorry about using you like a hammer, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right...?" With another cough, Sandrew chuckled.

The crowd clearly didn't appreciate Sandrew's sound-based attacks, but they cheered upon seeing the end of the battle. "This match is over! Team Energy Stone is the winner!" Phil announced, causing the crowd to cheer even more. "Next match is Toshi vs Twilight Kin!"

"That's... an odd way to damage your foe." Indy muttered, his ears still ringing from Sandrew's attack. Afterwards, Rei mentioned something about being right back, then began to sneak around a bit. Indy quickly realized where she was going. Guess I'm not the only one who was curious...

The girl quickly noticed Rei's approach. "If you have something to say to me, don't waste my time." She told Rei, not even looking at her. She was still focused on the arena.

Now that Rei had been noticed, Indy decided to join her. "You're one of the other competitors, right?" He asked calmly.

"Yes." The girl's response was short.

The Stealth Sneak gave Saki a curious look. Instead of focusing on him, it turned towards Luna, noticing that she seemed to not be focused on the battle at the moment. It turned invisible and moved towards her, kicking at her with its massive foot.

Allitt was getting tired of Zion's constant advances on her. She just wanted to get back to the fight. "If you want to make me happy, bring me back to the battle. I'm not going to be able to calm down until I find out what the heck that hag meant when she mentioned that another Seeker ordered that I be killed." She commanded angrily.

Annistha tried to regain her hold on Raidyn, but it was too late. He pushed off her, slamming her into the ground, out of bounds of the arena. After a groan, Annistha rolled up onto her feet in one motion.

"Good fight." She said cheerfully, sounding only a little out of breath.

She dismissed her Keyblade and looked over at Phil.

"Can I go back into the arena to get our Gunblade?" Annistha asked.

Sandrew gave off a weak "Woohoo" as they were pronounced the winners. He coughed loudly, fumbling around with some potions that were in his pocket, he tossed up the two he could reach and healed himself and Raidyn. Standing, he took a minute to breath. That was hard work, worthy of a celebratory milkshake.

With his talent of seeming to phase out of existence and back in, Sandrew seemed to vanish and appear next to Nexus, their Gunblade in hand. "Don't worry, I got ya." he said, laying the object on the ground at their feet. "Good match... I'm exhausted! If Raidyn hadn't been there, I would have been toast, see you around!"

And as the Ghost Boy would have his skills work, he seemingly vanished, helping Raidyn up back in the Arena.

"Oh, uh, don't worry about that. I'll heal... but uh, maybe next time think of somethin' else. Heh," Raidyn said, sitting up and rubbing the back of his head.

"If that's true, then I'll make sure to double it. Considering that I didn't have to use my speed, I'll be able to save my energy for the upcoming fights," Raidyn said, still remembering that he needs to limit himself concerning that power.

"You too, Nexie. We should do it again sometime!" Raidyn said, already falling into his normal mood, injuries aside.

"Hey, uh, I'm good Sandy. I can walk by myself," Raidyn said, not out of annoyance, but because he just generally preferred to do things himself. Although he staggered a bit due to the slight dizziness, he managed to get himself in the stands.

Meanwhile, Toshi was making her way out of the stands and towards the ring.

"A-are you alright, Raidyn?" She asked, seeing that her classmate was still carrying some fatigue.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just a little shaken up is all. Good luck in your match, Tosh," Raidyn said, quickly patting her on the shoulder and making his way up the stands. Toshi looked back at him and wondered how he was able to be so strong as she went down to the ring.

Okay... now it's my turn... she thought, waiting for her opponents.

"Thanks!" Annistha said to Sandrew.

She hooked the toe of her boot under the Gunblade, then flipped it up to her waiting hand.

"Maybe we will." She replied to Raidyn as she expertly twirled her Gunblade around, then holstered it behind her.

Walking towards the stands, Zather, from behind the eyes, drew Annistha's attention to who Indy and Rei were talking to. Both twins were wary of the girl. They sat down near the back of the stands to watch what happened with the new girl. While she was achy, the advantage of being a combined heart in a replica body was lots of stamina and energy. If the new girl tried anything, the Nexus would be ready.

"Oh, uh, don't worry about that. I'll heal... but uh, maybe next time think of somethin' else. Heh," Raidyn said, sitting up and rubbing the back of his head.

Okay... now it's my turn... she thought, waiting for her opponents.

"I know you can. But good first aid protocall states to stay by injured and aid them, even if they don't think they need help, until we are sure their condition is stable." The brown mop of hair stated oh-so-diligently, however, between the time Raidyn had gotten to the stands and his and Toshi's talk, he had gained a fruit smoothly. No milkshake, but a treat was a treat.

"I said no more tricks, ya Stealth Freak!" Saki yelled out when the beast went invisible. He didn't what it would next until he saw Luna being blown across the field. He turned back to the invisible beast. "Hey! Now that's just playing dirty ya damn creep! Aero Blast!" Saki pointed his Keyblade at the ground and thanks to the spell, he blasted off in the air then landed on the invisible mouth, staring into the Stealth Sneak's eyes. Saki then proceeded to perform multiple slashes at the beast's eyes from left to right, up and down, he even did a spin attack. He pointed his Keyblade at the invisible mouth he was standing on and performed an Aero Blast to blast him off back into the air. "Somebody heal Luna and fast!" The Street Rat yelled out.

The kind Bouncywild got up and ran towards Luna. Lisa kneeled down to watch her and see if she was okay.

"Not exactly keen on waiting around." Maximilian commentded, as Joel told them to be support, then seeing the stealth sneak attack Luna, "Well support's off, then..." He said as he dashed at the stealth sneak, with its back now turned to him, as he delivered a darkness powered rock punch into its back while Saki used the Aero blast.

"I said no more tricks, ya Stealth Freak!" Saki yelled out when the beast went invisible. He didn't what it would next until he saw Lisa being blown across the field, probably crashing into a teammate. (*cough cough* MAX *cough cough*) "LISA!" He turned back to the invisible Heartless. "....Now....Now I'm pissed, you damn creep! "Somebody heal Lisa for me!" The Street Rat yelled out. The kind Bouncywild could barely get up from that attack. She needed help and fast.

(Noooooo) "Sure...lets see wha the can-" his statement however was soon interrupted by Lisa colliding against him, Maximillian and Lisa were sent flying backwards, Max ending up with his back slammed against a wall, visible cracks around it, thankfully, he casted an earth spell to encase his back on rock armor but the impact was still pretty darn painful Lisa was sitting on top of him as Max's was sitting with his back against a wall, "The firetruck just happened? oh shit, uuhh, heal Lisa?" he said with a pained tone, he had hit his head too, bringing back the pain from before, as it started to bleed again, "Oh god dammit." he said almost passing out from the concussion.

(The Stealth Sneak actually attacked Luna, not Lisa. Could you two please edit your posts?)

(I can certainly edit mine, dunno if Kingdom would have lisa be flung at Max anyway.)

So the Stealth Sneak ignored Saki's invitation to duel and attacked Luna. "Well, there goes that..." Joel muttered as he followed Max.

As Saki and Max dished out their attacks, Joel moved to the left of the Heartless and threw his Keyblade, slashing the Stealth Sneak right across its emblem.

"Nice fight guys!" Ember called loudly as she hopped down from the stands and into the arena, waving at Raidyn and Sandrew. Somrene followed behind, patting Annistha on the shoulder and flashing her a toothy grin before speaking to her.

"We'll carry on in the name of siblings for you guys." He said, then jumped down into the arena. Ember was already standing towards their side of the ring, hopping up and down slightly in excitement. The Darkling trotted over. "Are we going to end it quick, or play around a bit?" He asked her quietly.

"What's the harm in trying to have a bit of fun? After all, we have an audience, we should make it worth watching." The Ninja replied to her brother, as she waved to the stands. Somrene nodded. Sounded good. Of course, he didn't really want to fight that way, but this was a journey for trying new things right? Ember glanced towards Phil. "We're ready!"

Annistha jumped a little as Somrene patted her shoulder, as she was focusing on the new girl with Indy and Rei. She blushed a little at the Darkling's consoling.

"Thanks, Somrene." She said. "Good luck."

"What are you laughing at?" Annistha demanded to Zather's crackling.

~*Outside The Nexus*~

Annistha settled back to keep an eye out for anything unusual and to watch the match.

Raidyn waved back to Ember as she walked down.

After Ember and Somreme entered the ring, Toshi summoned Protector and held in both hands. "I'm ready as well," she confirmed.

She looked at the very annoyed girl and sighed.

The Stealth Sneak ended up reverting to its visible form after the barrage of attacks from the students. It was beginning to wear out, but it still had some energy left. It turned to attack Max, but was suddenly stopped by a Blizzard spell that hit its face.

"Hey, don't forget about me." Allitt shouted at the beast. "I'm back now, and you're going to regret attacking me earlier." She ran over to it and made a few quick slashes at the Heartless with her Keyblade, hoping to wear it out. However, it spun and hit the girl with its tail, knocking her over on her back. After doing this, it tried to stomp on Max once again.

"Ugh... I'm not going down that easily." Allitt groaned, quickly trying to scramble back to her feet.

Phil heard both Ember and Toshi's confirmations. "Alright, let the battle begin!" He exclaimed, and the audience began to roar.

Back in the stands, both the odd girl and Indy seemed a little... confused by Rei's sudden remark. "... Of all the things to mention, that's what you point out...?" Indy asked Rei quietly.

The girl's expression changed from one of confusion to her usual annoyed one rather quickly. "If you're trying to do this to have me let my guard down when we get on to our battle, it's not going to work. I'm not even fighting this round, anyway."

Reacting a bit faster than usual, Joel cast Magnet behind Saki and Max, causing them to be pulled out of harm's way. "Sorry guys!" he shouted. He then cast a couple of Gravity spells which compounded on the Stealth Sneak. He then turned to Allitt, who was getting up after getting knocked back.

"Hey! I need you to run toward the Heartless and jump when you're... about halfway there! I have a plan that has a fair possibility of working!" Joel said to the girl.

Allitt didn't like being given orders, especially by one of the academy brats. However, she didn't seem to have much of a choice with this one. "Alright... If this goes wrong and I get hurt, you'll be feeling pain, too." She growled, then got her balance once again. She took a deep breath, then sprinted at the large chameleon. When she was at the point where Joel had specified, she jumped into the air, keeping her Keyblade ready to follow up with an attack...

Once Allitt had jumped, Joel cast a pair of Magnet spells, so one orb appeared on each side and a bit in front of Allitt. Once she got close enough, she began to accelerate forward due to the attraction of the magnets. Once Allitt had just passed both Magnet orbs, Joel did what was probably his most brilliant move yet.

"Magnet Reverse!" The orbs changed colors as they now began to repel Allitt, which pushed her forward even more. She was now flying through the air toward the Stealth Sneak.

"Now give him hell!"

Allitt cloaked her Keyblade in ice before Joel's magic shot her towards the monster. Since she only knew the standard Blizzard spell, this wouldn't add too much damage, but she figured that it would be worth trying. However, of all the combo attacks that Allitt thought she was prepared for, being used as a stone in a slingshot wasn't quite what she'd expected. She was prepared to make some sort of witty line as she struck the Stealth Sneak, but all that came out was a loud, embarrassing "Aaaaahhhhh!" She managed to focus enough to slash at the beast's emblem, which seemed to damage it quite a bit. The creature screeched in pain, while Allitt continued screaming until she hit the ground flat on her face. "U-ugh..." She groaned as she got up, hoping that the painful landing on her face didn't make her nose start to bleed. She didn't have time to check, since the chameleon quickly made a counterattack by attempting another stomp, this time aimed at the cloaked girl who was still on the ground. Allitt barely rolled out of the way of the attack, and got back up to her feet shakily. "I'm never doing that again..." She muttered.

Joel couldn't help but flinch as he saw Allitt hit the ground. Guess I figured that she'd be able to improv the landing... Looks like I'm gonna be getting it later...

Before Joel could start imagining how Allitt would try to kill him, he snapped back to reality, remembering that they were fighting a battle. Fortunately, the Allitt Magnet Slingshot maneuver did quite a number on the Stealth Sneak. To Joel's dismay, it was still alive and kicking... and stomping.

Joel quickly cast another Gravity spell on the enemy, pinning it down, and threw his Keyblade at its head. He then looked to the rest of the team. "C'mon! Let's get rid of this eyesore once and for all!"

"Then we're off!" Ember exclaimed. She dashed forward, summoning Way of the Ninja as she slashed horizontally. Somrene took a slower approach, walking forward, and summoning several fireballs to his side. He waited, increasing their power by pushing more magic into each one. Ember leaped up and over Toshi, sliding as she landed behind her opponent. Her brother took the open line of sight as an opportunity, and hurled the fireballs right towards Toshi.

Toshi tried her best to keep calm and focused, though it was clear that this challenge would be of the one the hardest she has faced so far.

Toshi held up Protector and used the back of the blade to block Somreme's fireballs, although she was leaving herself wide open for Ember.
