Radiant Garden- Keyblade Academy

Ordinarily, the Radiant Garden Keyblade Academy was rather quiet, at least by the standards of a school. Not much happened, and it was rare for any sort of exciting events to happen in the years of peace that the world had experienced. However, on this particular day, that was about to change. The Masters of the Keyblade Academy were about to send a group of students off on what would be the most important journey since the one taken by Master Sora and his friends in the past. The previous day, almost 20 students had received letters from Master Sora. Each letter shared the same message, though with slight alterations to include the name of its recipient:

Dear (Student),

Hello, this is Master Sora. I would like to let you know that you have been selected to participate in a very important mission. This journey could take a short time, or many months. I apologize if this interferes with your busy schedule, but you will be excused from all missed lessons during this time period. I would like you to convene just outside the Academy tomorrow at noon, by the fountain. You will receive further instructions at that time. I wish you and your fellow companions the best of luck on this journey!

Sincerely, Master Sora

This particular letter and mission were unknown to those who were not participating, unless a participant had informed them ahead of time. It was just the small group leaving on this quest who had any sort of knowledge as to what they were about to face...

Indy arrived at the fountain early. He hated arriving late, and as such, arriving at a meeting very early tended to become something he'd been known for. Noticing that no one else had arrived, he decided to sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for his fellow students to file in. He knew that his best friend, Raidyn, would be going along with him. Aside from that, he had no clue who all would be joining. He just hoped that they would all be ready for whatever they'd need to face. As he sat, he became lost in his thoughts. This mission could potentially mark his first time ever leaving his home world of Radiant Garden. He could finally go out and see more worlds. He could meet new people. Most importantly, he might finally have a chance to track down the person he'd been trying to find for years... He managed to look calm for the most part, though he could feel his hands shaking with excitement. This could very well be the moment he'd waited years for.

Rei accepted the hand up, sighing.

"Thanks..." She turned to Sandrew. "As for where to go, I have no clue. We got thrown here to see what's going on, and that's about it..." She bit her lip. "We could take a look at the sandlot or just head for the Old Mansion?" She suggested.

"No problem." Indy grinned. After helping her up, he decided to think about where they should go. "There are already some other people checking out the Old Mansion, right? Maybe it would be best if we went for the sandlot. I'd be fine with the mansion if you all want to check there, though." Indy suggested.

Dusting herself off, Rei shrugged. "Sandlot's fine with me. You guys?"

"Wait, wait, wait, hold on a minute," Raidyn interjected. "Wasn't the Old Mansion where Master Sora, Donald, and Goofy first started their second journey? Oh man, I bet that all the tech lying around from that business with Roxas and Ansem The Wise is still there too! We gotta go there!" Raidyn exclaimed.

"Raidyn, don't you think it's more important to focus on the mission at hand?" Toshi asked.

"Well yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't do some sightseeing. Heh," Raidyn said. "Either way, I'm good with the Old Mansion or the Sandlot. On the latter, we might at least have a chance to meet up with those kids that Master Sora and Kairi made friends with. I bet they have a bunch of stories to tell if I asked them the right questions!" Raidyn said.

"I personally think the Sandlot would be a better option," Toshi said.

Sandrew looked at Raidyn, a blank stare in his eyes. The cold pits of his dark eyes could almost suck away a person's soul if they looked hard enough... they felt... cold. Very cold.without skipping a beat, he made his side clear. "I would prefer the Sandlot. People probably frequent there, any rumors in the town could probably be heard around there giving us a one-up on the information..."

"Alright, sounds like we'll be heading towards the Sandlot." Indy pointed out. "Go ahead and lead the way there, Rei."

"Im fine, really, used to getting thrown around, most of the time I get thrown much farther and with more force, so this was a pretty tame teleportation, all things considered" Maximilian commented with a chuckle, he smiled upon hearing the man's statement about fights, "Damn right, we'l give them everything we've got, and they'l do the same, wouldn't expect it to be any other way" he said with clear excitement on his tone.

"I see you know about weapons? I only know the basics so I have to rely on my keyblade most of the time, but it gets the job done." he commented, "Kinda weird though, Master Sora sending students in a mission to stop a big threat to the worlds" he said, "You'd think they'd send other more skilled keybladers, but its just us...and Zion, who is a master, and could kill me as I speak without any trouble whatsoever." he commented with a frown and nervous tone, hoping she didn't hear that.

-Artemis Thornton-

"Had it have been a rougher teleportation, I'd presume you'd be...well, in for a rough ride, for lack of a better term." Artemis commented back with his own chuckle, then gave a look of admiration upon hearing the excitement in Max's next comment. "Most excellent, Max. I think we'll get along just fine." He said with a smile.

"That I do. I find it's a good idea to not rely upon the Keyblade as your only weapon and saving grace." He explained, rubbing the handle of his Katana. "All things considered and accounted for, sometimes nothing quite beats a tride and true: Folded Steel blade. And beyond that, many other weapons can be of use: Firearms of many calibres like Handguns, Rifles, Carbines, Shotguns, anything that propels a projectile at high-speed across a distance. Swords, Daggers, even Tomahawks. Perhaps a Bo/Ballistic Staff. But what it can all boil down to is a good old match of Fisticuffs, for as many weapons there are, only a fool trusts their life to one absolute weapon, no offence." He elaborated, raising his hands with a chuckle afterwards upon his last comment.

----------------------------------

Soon enough however, they had arrived at Twilight Town, were given a briefing, assigned Teams, Artemis feeling a little sad that Max wasn't part of his own then they were given Earpieces and swiftly teleported to different locations across the Town.

He, Luna and Zion arrived in Station Plaza, with Artemis taking a deep breath...and exhaling. "Twilight Town....I've been places but this...this is most definitely something." He commented to himself, then put on his Earpiece and turned to Zion, Luna following suit.

"Where to, Master Zion?" He asked.

"Oh Boy! We're here!" Saki said, landing on his feet and looking at the mansion in amazement. They were in Twilight Town! They were getting the chance to explore another world! "I'm so excited! Ahh Hah hah!" He said jumping up in the air. He then ran to the team leader, Joel. (I think xD) and stood like a soldier, giving a salute to him. "Saki Otori, in your service, SIR! I hope I can be a great help, SIR!" He said smiling. Saki was just having too much fun already.

"Most teleportations send me twenty feet into the air, you can guess the rest" Maximilian explained to Artemis how his usual teleporations went, he crossed his arms as he listened to Artemis's explanation on weapon knowledge, and how useful they are, "It is good to have a backup plan in case the keyblades don't cut it, no doubt about that" he commented as he created a small sword from pure darkness in his hand, "Can't say I rely on my keyblade for everything." he commented as the darkness sword disappeared.

Before they could continue the conversation the teams were set up, and he ended up in Team Beta: composed of Somrene, Ember, Nexus and himself, "Right so-" before he could even say a word however, he and the other members of the team were teleported, while the others were probably teleported safely onto the ground of sunset hill, Maximilian was teleported ten feet into the air, "Not this shit again!" he shouted as he crashed down, but managed to soften his fall by rolling as he hit the ground, but still, if they were gonna keep teleporting, he'd be in serious trouble.

"I hate teleportation spells..." he said, clearly the sight was comical to the other members of the team, so he wasn't exactly embarrassed, as he looked at the sunset, beautiful as ever, "So what now?" he asked the other members of the team.

For some reason, Indy had a feeling Rei would just point out where to go from on his back. He sighed. "I'm never going to get a break, am I...?" He asked, and bean to walk in the direction that Rei pointed out. As he led the others over to the sandlot, he couldn't help gazing around at the buildings they passed by. "This is where you're from, Rei...? This world's really different from Radiant Garden. It seems a lot more... quiet." He was impressed by the new setting. He'd heard about Twilight Town often, but what he'd heard wasn't able to prepare him for seeing the real place.

Before Zion could lead her group elsewhere, a robed figure spied on the three from a rooftop. "Heh... looks like our spy was right, after all. These three appeared out of nowhere... I'm guessing they're the academy goons we're supposed to be tracking down." The figure spoke aloud, then climbed off of the rooftop and approached the group. "Just three of you? I heard there would be a lot more guests coming here... And the one I'm looking for isn't with you, by the looks of it." The figure's voice made it obvious that she was a girl, probably around the same age as most of the students. "Tell me... are you the scum sent here by Sora?" She asked, and summoned a light blue Keyblade.

The transition from ship to solid ground was a sudden one. Joel had to take a moment to regain his bearings after the teleport. Once he did, he took a moment to examine the Old Mansion.

At this point in time, "Old" was a bit of an understatement.

Here and there chunks of brick were crumbling off of the walls. What used to be pillars in the courtyard were now piles of rubble. Some of the windows were even broken. The gates had rusted immensely, but oddly enough, the lock that held them shut looked like it was untouched by the passage of time. Also, it looked like the white curtains in a window up on the second floor looked perfectly fine; they weren't ripped or tattered or anything, as far as Joel could tell.

His examination was interrupted by another student, who introduced himself as Saki, coming up to him and saluting him.

Welp, Joel thought. I know I'm new to this leader stuff, but is this what people usually do?

"Er, at ease," Joel told the other boy. "I may have this position, but I'm no Master or anything. We're all equals here. So you don't really need to salute or anything. I'm Joel, by the way," he added.

So, I guess we're gonna have to check this place out, Joel thought. He summoned his Keyblade and pointed it at the gate lock. A beam of light shot out of his weapon and entered the keyhole. With a clicking sound, the lock fell to the ground with a thud, and the gates slowly -- almost ominously -- opened for the first batch of visitors that the mansion had probably had in a while.

"Well, I guess everyone should follow me," Joel told the rest of the little group. "Keep your eyes and ears open, and watch each others' backs." With that warning issued, Joel walked through the gates and stepped into the courtyard.

(Welp, I think I'm gonna wait for everyone else to post and stuff before continuing. Spidey's already been cut off twice or something.)

And he couldn't wait to face off against one of these Seekers of Light. Saki was going to have A LOT of fun with them. He just knew it. "I'm so hype! I just can't wait!" Saki said, sounding excited as ever.

Before he could give Zion a reply, Artemis heard someone approaching and speaking aloud to them in an insulting, condescending tone, who then made their intentions clear with a needless insult and the summoning of their Keyblade. "...that all depends, Miss. Are you one of the Witless Group of people known as the Seekers of Light?" He asked with a vein of courtesy, then his Keyblade materialized in his right hand. "Because I can't stand extremists." He said with a more hostile tone, raising his Keyblade and pointing it at her, while Luna summoned hers and did the same. "I suggest you depart, lest things get...messy." Artemis warned her, but inside he yearned for a fight.

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

"I'd do as he says, because like him, I don't take people like yourselves lightly. And I don't like being insulted for who I am, thank you very much." She said, a slight growl in her voice.

This time Aello was less surprised when the ship disappeared and they reappeared somewhere else. That didn't make it any less awesome, naturally. She looked around, happily taking in the forest, the sunset, and the quiet atmosphere. This was the first time the acrobatic Keyblade student had been to Twilight Town, and all she could say was "Woah! This place looks so cool!" She followed Joel through the gates, and looked up at the old mansion. To be honest, she was thinking less about the structural integrity of the building (or lack thereof), and more about how this place would make for an awesome haunted house. "Hey Saki, if we run into a ghost, do you think we could put it in a box? I have always wanted a ghost in a box! Then we could take that box and put it in another box, and send it to the mailbox at the academy, and when it arrived we could smash the box with a hammer, and the ghost would escape, and we would have a haunted school! That would be so much fun!"

Rei grinned.

"Hehe...and yeah, it's quiet. Its what makes this town great." She wrapped her arms around Indy's neck carefully.

Zion looked up, then roll dher eyes. Wings of light extending, she launched skyward, coming to face the foe headon.

"Do you have any idea who I am? Do you know how many random henchmen I've killed? Look at you, you haven't even got a name tag!" She growled. "So why don't you give me your name...so I can whisper it to you." She added, voice taking a...not so innocent tone. She batted get eyelashes at the clear girl, hands behind her back, just looking at her.

Of course, Saki mostly heard the word box listening to another one of Aello's random, crazy, but very cool ideas! But he did have this confused expression for the longest time during her explanation. "That.....Sounds confusing.....But really cool!!" Saki said, getting back his excited expression. "I can't wait to beat up those bad guys! Man, would I trip them up so bad! I do happen to like being chased! Why? I'm called the "Street Rat" for a reason! DUH! Heh heh heh!"

With that, Raidyn and Toshi walked with the others towards the Sandlot.

"Not only is it quiet, but it seems peaceful too. It's really nice," Toshi complimented.

"Sure is. Plus, I bet there's enough room on the streets to do some skateboarding," Raidyn said. "I read that Master Sora actually got to do that when he was in Twilight Town. I've never done it before, but it sounds super fun. Plus I wonder what kinda of cool stuff I can do if I used my super speed while I ride one..."

Annistha landed gracefully after the teleportation spell had landed Team Beta at Sunset Terrence.

[Nexus Shift]

Zather replaced Annistha as the primary controller of the replica body, which changed to look like him, but without the usual ceremony of a visual cue. One second, the body looked like Annistha. The next, it looked like Zather.

With dark grey eyes, the Dark Twin scanned the surrounding area, taking in large doses of air through his nose to get use to the smell of the place. When he noticed the hooded figure, he had both his Keyblade and Gunblade out and in a ready stance. When she disappeared, he chuckled.

"Not even a minute in, and there are already ominous threats being thrown around." He said. "I knew this mission would be fun."

"Yeah, this place is really cool." Indy remarked as the group continued walking. "I'm kind of happy this is the first place we got to go after leaving Radiant Garden... If only we had time for sightseeing." The group eventually arrived at the Sandlot. Upon arrival, it was clear that the area was actually empty. "Looks like there's no one here... Maybe we should head back." As Indy said that, a group of six or seven Dusks appeared behind them. "Maybe I spoke too soon." He said, and summoned his Keyblade.

The robed girl was amused by the threats she received from Artemis and Luna. "Yep, looks like I've found you. Also, since you asked so politely... I am one of the Seekers of Light. Thank you for caring! I don't think I'll be leaving, though. I think I'd rather have a bit of fun with you all." After saying this, one of the women in the group suddenly appeared right in front of her. Allitt was... slightly confused by what she said. Either she's underestimating me... or she's flirting with the enemy. "Normally I wouldn't go around sharing my name, but since you all won't last very long, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you who you're about to fight..." She removed her hood, revealing that she was indeed a teenage girl. She smirked, seemingly happy to fight these three. "My name is Allitt. I hope you're ready for a little fun."

(... I'd make a comment on this reference but I'll keep quiet for now)  Tram Commons "Yeah, this place is really cool." Indy remarked as the group continued walking. Train Station The robed girl was amused by the threats she received from Artemis and Luna. "Nobodies?! But isn't Twilight Town not suppose to have these?!" Sandrew pulled his Keyblade off of his back and used his Stone spell to raise up some small pillars, knocking back the enemy Nobodies before falling back into the place where they rested before. "Nevermind, let's go!" Sandrew rushed a nobody and slashed at it with a two-handed strike, followed with a upward slash with the teeth of his Keyblade, knocking it into the air.

Maximilian stared at the hooded figure as it spoke to them, or rather to other members of the group, ignoring him, but he managed to overhear some of what it said, as it disappeared Max didn't even enter a combat stance, as he had a feeling that whoever this was, wasn't about to attack them at this moment, else it'd have exploited the element of surprise.

Maximilian shrugged and sighed as he agreed with Zather, "At least we know this is the right place to look." he said with a serious tone, he waited for the others to comment on the situation.

"Wait, Nobodies?!" Toshi cried out, quickly rememebring to summon her Keyblade in the process

"Looks like things aren't gonna be so peaceful after all..." Raidyn said as he summoned his own Keyblade and held the grip backwards in his usual style. "On the plus side, I've been raring for a fight! Come on Toshi!" He said, with Toshi nodding and following Raidyn into battle.

Raidyn began zipping around the area, confusing the Dusk he was fighting by making its body twist up as it tried to follow it's movements, and in between delivered fast and powerful slashes.

Toshi was having more trouble with her own Dusk as she was struggling to keep up with it's malleable body slinking around and dodging her attacks.

Letting go of Indy, Rei executed an Aerial Zantetsuken, Yoake no Oracion drawn. Her strike destroyed the Dusk, and she turned to watch the others fight.

Zion didnt even summon her Keyblade. She just landed beside Alitt, though her heart was racing and her eyes go a bit wide. She let her wings fade, and without pause yanked the Keyblade forward and struck Alitt in the chest with an open-hand strime that would send her stumbling back.

"Listen cutie. If you surrender, I won't humiliate you." She glanced over to the students below. "I got this! Go look for the others, make sure they are okay!"

Zion turned back to Alitt. "So. Shall we dance?"

Now that Indy could freely move without worrying about his passenger, he joined in the fight, too. He targeted one of the Dusks, and first shot a Fire spell at the Nobody. After doing this, he charged over to it and began slashing at it. It weaved around most of his attacks, but he managed to land a few blows. After a final horizontal strike, the Dusk disappeared in a puff of smoke. "Another one down... How's everyone else holding up?"

Allitt wasn't sure what angered her more. The fact that this woman was fighting her without even using a Keyblade, or the fact that her enemy was in fact flirting with her at this point. "I'd be happy to." She spoke softly, glaring at her opponent. She quickly tried to thrust her Keyblade into this girl's chest, hoping to use her speed to throw the opponent off.

Rei spun and hit the ground, sliding fast, and slashed the Dusk. With it off balance she spun and cleaved it in two without pause."I'm fine."_______________Zion turned. That's all she did. She turned, the Keyblade sliding into the spot where he chest was. Alitt was in range...so Zion brought her elbow up and slammed into Alitt's chest again."I'm being nice cutie, so surrender noe before I really hurt you."

-Artemis & Luna-

"Master....you have an odd way of fighting." He commented before turning to Luna. "We should depart, I'm thinking...either the Old Mansion or the Sandlot, there's bound to be someone there who needs assistance and we had better go before Zion....well, I dread to think. Come on." He said to her, already running. "You got it!" She called after him as they both sped off.

"Actually, split up. You to the Sandlot, I'll go to the Old Mansion." He ordered hastily. "Roger!" She called, running off in the direction of the Sandlot while Artemis shot off to through Tram Commons, stopping as he saw Dusks attacking another team, then ran to them and did a Jumping attack on a Dusk that wasn't looking to assist them.

"Me too!" Raidyn called, finishing off the Dusk he was fighting with one slash.

"U-uh, I'm fine too!" Toshi lied, still having trouble with the Dusk she was fighting. At a moment's notice, she was then struck back onto the ground and dazed, allowing the Dusk to close in on her.

"Toshi!" Raidyn called, quickly speeding over and slashing the Dusk away. "Come on, you gotta stay on your feet," Raidyn playfully chided, helping Toshi up.

"S-sorry," She said, clearly embarrassed.

"Don't sweat it. You just gotta keep movin' along," Raidyn said. The two decided to two team up to defeat the Dusk.

"Well, would you look at that. The calvary arrived!" Raidyn said. "Good to see that you came to help... uh... I'm sorry, what was your name again?"
