It's called a Theory based on several contributing factors. Personally, I think it's well founded and even as Nomura is focusing primarily on KH3, he still takes a freaking eternity to make a game, well beyond the time it takes to make a Quality-Standard Game, it just becomes tedious, but I digress.

 

Let's also not forget that Final Fantasy is bigger than Kingdom Hearts, so naturally, they'll want to release it first and get all of the Hype, Money and Media Attention for the next few months after release for their biggest series. Honestly, they couldn't care as much about Kingdom Hearts, for as much mush and bullshit they give us, they're still Businessmen who seek money and they see Yen Signs in their eyes.

 

Also, need I remind you this is Square Enix? People who don't know how to release games, but know very well how to announce them? Exactly.

I'm pretty sure we'll most likely get KH3 Winter 2016. To me they're doing very well with development and Nomura knows we want this game now. I just hope it won't be bug ridden like most major gaming companies do with new releases. *cough*Assassin'sCreedUnity*cough*

True. I really wish SE wouldn't announce games so earlty to where the game isn't even far into developement yet. That, in my opinion, is a very bad habit.

Yeah, but this isn't the first time they announced a game way before its release (looking at you Final fantasy Versus XIII/XV & and possibly Final Fantasy VII Remake)

Perhaps they thought since it worked soooooo well with FFXV they did it for KH3 and FFVII Remake.

Well, from what SE description Stella, she was supposed to be a strong, independent woman who was a friend/rival of Noctis. ANd Luna is also supposed to be strong minded but she seems to be another DiD to a lot of FF fans.

Well, as far as we know, KH3 is in a good enough stage in development to show gameplay. And they are in mass production right now. Who knows, maybe in November, they'll be really far in development. We'll just have to wait and see.But JESUS CHRIST, Tabata makes an announcement of an announcement of a release date announcement. ANNOUNCEMENTCEPTION, am I right?

I think this will be the case, cause it's a very smart business move from square. Although we have ff vii remake for 2017 as well (unconfirmed) , so i don't know... at least we know it'll take less than 3 years from know so less than a 1000 days to go. Yay!

i don't like how SkywardWing titles his videos for his Golden Keyblade videos. it's like it's confirmed but it's not. to me, it's clickbait like "The Next Confirmed Kingdom Hearts III World".

This is one of the many reasons I'm glad Disney's a part of Kingdom Hearts.

This is one of the many reasons I'm glad Disney's apart of Kingdom Hearts.

That and Iger is on board with Everything now. Eisner never really cared cause it didn't push units in the parks, but Iger takes everything seriously and puts alot of work and effort in any project whether its film, parks, merchandise, television or games.

Like how things seem to be going smoothly for KH now.

To those who are saying that Luna is a damsel in distress, I don't understand how people came to that conclusion. We have literally seen 2 things from her, once where she is sitting for like...4 or 5 seconds and once in a concept art where she is walking away in ragged clothing from a destroyed city. Tabata has literally been saying that she is a strong character as well. 

I firmly believe a release date is possible at D23 Japan. Nomura and co have had a release date in mind for months now!
