In a world failing to thrive rests a society of varying races.  Some embrace one another, while others shun and condemn them. The Elves have quarrelled with the Humans and now reside closer to the mountain range, while Mages have taken into living sheltered and quiet lives, stifling the whispers of their inherited gifts lest they be torn from their homes and slaughtered like animals.  At the heart of all this chaos and strife stands the Korbenic Empire, ruled by none other than an emperor of blood and power named Korben.  The Korbenic Empire has risen above and beyond all cultures and societies, all due to one experiment having gone right.

 

Tanzynite, a chemical derived from the very core of the earth itself, has been mutated and perfected in the imperial labs and have reached subjects of all natures.  Some variants of Tanzynite can heal, while others can kill.  Some can enhance vitality, strength, and stamina, while others yet can enhance magical abilities.  One of the most valuable of all can alter one's body to be independent and not relying on nutrients for survival, something that others would do almost anything to acquire in a dying world where crops won't prosper.  Tanzynite has also been abused: people crave it, long for it, and kill for it, only to feed their addictions and need for massive amounts of Tanzynite that will eventually corrupt their hearts and cripple their bodies.  While Tanzynite has been a miracle, it has also been a deadly curse.

 

The prices have raised for Tanzynite and alliances to the empire have increased for this substance, creating it nigh impossible for everyone to get their hands on Tanzynite that require it for their very existence.  With alliances the Korbenic Empire has only grown, its power ever influencing upon the world.  With every nation that surrenders to the empire much blood is shed.  Mages, who are considered an abomination, are killed, children are randomly plucked from homes to be brought in for lab experiments, and races other than Humans are oft times experimented on as well--or worse.  Slavery has become abundant on those who are poor, and oppression within the imperial territories is stifling.  Only a handful of nations remain that haven't aligned themselves at the feet of the Empire, and it isn't long before they wither away and die entirely.

 

You have to choose a side in this struggle for mere survival.  Your decisions alone will impact the fate of society as a whole.  Are you apart of the empire, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you live a comfortable life and remain the empire's right hand man, or are you a freedom fighter who will fight for your society's independence?  Will you embrace others who are different, those who your culture has rejected and rebelled for their difference in race, or will you be defiant and struggle on your own, even though you need them as much as they need you?  You choose, but choose wisely.  The fate of the world rests upon your decision.

RP Rules:

1: No Godmodding/Meta-Gaming, trust me; I'll know.

2: All KH13 RPing Rules are in effect here.

3: You can create as many characters as you want, but try not to bite off more than you can chew i.e: Make too many characters for you to effectively handle.

4: If any rules are broken, you will be given a Warning. Break them again and you're off the RP. Godmodding/Meta-Gaming, depending on severity can result in an immediate removal. My co-host, Mystics Apprentice, can also issue warnings.

5: Feel free to contribute to the story. This is an RP after all. :) In fact, I encourage it!

6: If you need to be off the site for long periods of time or just simply wish to leave the RP, please tell us! :) That way, you won't just be discounted or thought a deserter for just up and leaving or being too inactive.

7: You can be Rebellion, Empire or a member of the Criminal Underworld. For the latter, I encourage "Batman: Arkham Series Rogues Gallery" levels of creativity for the Criminals, it'll make things interesting.

8: For Non-Human Races, you can pick practically anything you please, be it: Werewolf, Vampire, Succubi, Incubi, Demon, Nephilim, Cambion, etc etc etc.

9: Tanzynite Creation is difficult and requires great scientific expertise, so unless your character is a Scientist, Highly Intelligent or just has a knack for chemicals, you can't create your own Tanzynite Chemicals. (But me and Mystic can. xP) You may request Custom Tanzynites be made via PM and I shall evaluate them though.

10: Auto-Hitting and Mass Slaughter are highly restricted here. Only the Hosts can Auto-Hit freely, but we will not abuse it. Mass Slaughter cannot be done on a whim, only if asked for and we shall evaluate.

List of Tanzynite Chemicals:

 

Primary Chemicals: Commonly called: "Instigators". These serve as more offensive and action based abilities.

 

Electro Bolt: "Feel like the Thunder God himself! Electro Bolt will let you fire off bolts of Electricity at will! Warning: Water and Lightning don't mix." With this chemical compound, you can fire Electricity/Lightning from your hands, be it in bursts, a constant stream or a simple jolt. Manifestation: Blue Energy courses through the users veins, along with Electricity coursing around the users body occasionally on its own or at the will of the user.

 

Satan's Touch: "Feel the heat! Satan's Touch will cause you to be able to wreathe whatever you want in Flames! Warning: Fire spreads." This chemical compound will allow you to light anything on fire with Fireballs, Flamethrowing, Fire Breath and allows you to heat anything you touch with your Body Heat. Manifestation: Severe burns on the user's body along with a visible, pulsing and glowing orange heat underneath the body of the user, Irises glow Orange too and Fire seems to be burning inside, ready to be unleashed.

 

Sting of Winter: "Feel the chill in your bones! Sting of Winter gives you Icy Powers to freeze your enemies! Multi-Purpose Capabilities Guaranteed." This chemical compound grants the ability to freeze your enemies, water and other objects. It can also be shaped into Armour and Icy Spikes can be extended from your hands to make yourself a Cryo-Weapon. Manifestation: Permafrost covers body, with the hands having Ice Burns along with small Icicles/Spikes protruding from the skin (Yes, they have blood in them) which can be extended. An Icy Mist emanates from the user and when Armoured and/or using the Icicles as weapons, more ice and burns cover the user.

 

Flash Flood: "Go with the flow! Flash Flood can wash away your enemies! Warning: Water's stronger than you may think." This chemical compound allows you to assail your enemies with Waves of Water to push them away, High-Pressure Jets to wear away at them, mildly telekinetically suspended in the air Bubbles filled with water that can either explode to shower opposition or encase opponents in it to drown them, wear down their limbs or be exploded out of them to weaken and surprise them. Manifestation: Water courses and drips down the users hands but it can be contained around the hands and manipulated for effect, mutations similar to suction cups and barnacles on an Octopus form on the hands and condensation emits from their body.

 

Cyclonic Rush: "Stand firm against the breeze! Cyclonic Rush will blow your enemies away! Warning: Wind does more than push." This chemical compound will let you blow away enemies with Gusts of Wind. It can also allow formation of Mini-Cyclones or Tornadoes to cause major damage. You can also breathe strong air currents from your mouth that can be sustained as long as you can exhale and all wind effects can cause Wind Erosion on a quickened scale, which is particularly painful to enemies. Manifestation: Wind currents circulate around users arms and hands while veins pulse with White Energy, clothing and hair is in a constant Windswept effect due to internal winds blowing.

 

Telekinesis: "Steel your mind! Telekinesis is as blunt as it gets, allowing you to pick up and throw objects with your mind!" This chemical compound allows you to use the Psychic Energy/Potential in your mind to use Psychokinesis/Telekinesis to levitate and throw objects at whim. However, it can also be used to assault the minds of Weak-Willed people, incapacitating them. You can also read minds, but to a limited extent. Manifestation: The force used is visible, but no other discernible effect is present externally on the user. Internally, brainwaves and MRI Readings are radically different from a normal brain.

 

Blinding Light: "Shine amongst the stars! Blinding Light gives you control over the Light to blind your enemies! Warning: It can also burn." This chemical compound allows you to control the Light Element of the Universe to blind, scorch or otherwise impede your enemies with what basically amounts to Pure Energy. Burning Beams can be fired straight from the hands when the power is charged up. Manifestation: Pure Energy courses through the users veins, pulsating at all times. The users hands are crackling with power while the scorching effects of the Light leave blackened burns on the some parts of the skin and visible cracks and tears in the arms produce light as the body attempts to contain it all within.

 

Smothering Darkness: "Cast your enemies into the Shadows! Smothering Darkness lets you control the Darkness and Shadows to assault your enemies! Warning: Power corrupts." This chemical compound allows you to control the Darkness Element of the Universe to smother, corrupt, hurt or otherwise make your opponent suffer with the Shadows themselves or the literal Darkness that resides in everything, including yourself. Shadow Orbs can be created and thrown to explode on impact when the power is charged up. Manifestation: Dark Purple Energy courses through the users veins, softly and slowly pulsating at all times. The users hands are swathed in Dark Mist while the corrupting effects darken the skin on the hands and arms and the skin is flaking off while Dark Tendrils are latching to the skin like parasites. Visible cracks and tears in the arms produce Darkness as the body attempts to contain it all within.

 

Pack-A-Punch: "Feel the power coursing through your muscles! Pack-A-Punch allows you to push boulders and punch walls! Warning: Don't strain yourself." This chemical compound increases your strength greatly, increasing Muscle Mass to 4x their normal mass, allowing for harder punches and kicks along with the ability to lift up heavy objects and even throw them. Manifestation: Bigger, evenly distributed muscles throughout the body, all veins are more pronounced and occasionally a green, glowing fluid flows through them.

 

Rocky Road: "Make the Earth tremble at your step! Rocky Road allows you to shake up the place and throw rocks! Warning: Rocks are hard." This chemical compound allows you to control the Earth Elements to shake the ground with Earthquakes, raise Rock Pillars, throw Rocks, split the ground open and toughen yourself up with Earthy Armour. Manifestation: Hands and forearms are entirely covered in a thick rock cover but still have full mobility, small stones form on the upper arm and the users voice becomes Earthy.

 

 

Secondary Chemicals: Commonly called "Tonics". Have more of a passive, but still apparent effect.

 

Scamper Speed: This Tonic allows the user to run 2x faster than the average person, also allowing them to run for longer, but the user would be at risk of overheating like a Cheetah if they run for too long. Has no manifestation.

 

Chameleon: This Tonic allows the user to become invisible to the naked eye when they stand still for a period of time. It activates after 5 seconds of standing still. It cannot be used when moving. Manifestation is quite evident.

 

Tough Guy/Girl: This Tonic toughens the user up, allowing them to soak up a more damage than a normal person before weakening, dying etc. Has no manifestation.

 

Marksman: This Tonic increases the users Hand-Eye Co-ordination, allowing them to aim firearms better and more effectively. Has no manifestation.

 

Brains and Brains: This Tonic increases the users intelligence and their ability to tinker with things. Has no manifestation.

 

Houdini: This Tonic allows the user to teleport at will. Manifestation: Only appears when teleporting, all veins and irises turn red before the user disappears in a flurry of Rose Petals and Red Mist.

 

Enduring Bolt: This Tonic boosts the stamina of the user, allowing them to run longer, fight longer and exercise longer. Has no manifestation.

 

Night Piercer: This Tonic allows the user to see in the Dark of Night more effectively, works as organic Night Vision Goggles. Manifestation: Eyes glow Night Vision Green when active.

 

Animal Instinct: This Tonic allows the user to sense nearby organics, regardless of species unless they are Demons or Angels. Has no manifestation.

 

Gymnastic Expert: This Tonic grants the user enhanced flexibility and mobility, allowing them to move more fluidly, flip and slink into tight spaces. Has no manifestation.

 

 

Experimental Tanzynite Chemicals - These Chemicals cannot be picked for normal usage and are for certain characters only. However, if you so desire, you can PM me to ask to use these Chemicals, but only one per person.

 

Experimental Strength Compound - Codename "Venom" (Taken by myself, used by NPC's.): This Instigator-Class Chemical was in development by order of the Emperor himself as he wanted Super-Human enforcers with the strength to topple any opposition. It derives partially from the Pack-A-Punch Chemical in concept but strength would be increased to a far greater level than that chemical can offer and makes the subject far more bulky, but requires a Injector System/Harness mounted to the subject to keep the chemical flowing and in effect. It is also far more addictive than average compounds, with the withdrawal symptoms often being so severe that they result in death. Initial tests on human subjects often resulted in death, be it from Cardiac Arrest or their Hearts flat out exploding from the pressure and rush of bodily chemicals and the chemical itself. It was only after one Subject survived and subsequently broke out that they had enough results to make a stable compound. However, the escapee stole all research notes and all samples of the fluid, learned how to produce more and perfect it and has since sold it in the Black Market in the Criminal Underworld. Manifestation: Users are often Seven-Feet Tall, with large muscles, facial scarring, heavily pronounced veins and green glowing fluid frequently flowing through them. Behaviour is often far more aggressive but intelligence is not dampened.

 

Experimental Strength Compound - Codename "TN-1" (Taken by myself, used by NPC's and in Scrap's planned character backstory.) : This Instigator-Class Chemical is currently in the testing phases under the eye of the man who escaped Venom Testing with the compound and is currently trying to improve it and remove its addictive qualities while at the same time creating a "Super-Venom". initial tests made have shown promise, a more permanent transformation of grotesque proportions, with subjects growing to 10 Feet in height, their muscles expanding massively and their strength great enough to blast through a platoon of enemies while shrugging off bullets. As it is in testing phases, there are problems. While the subject is bulletproof and insanely strong, they are not invincible as the full effect takes 10 minutes or more to take effect and usage damages the Memory Centres of the Brain, causing Memory Loss and Brain Damage. Intelligence is dampened as the user roars and is reduced to Hulk Speak and is very single minded, but usually makes up for it in brute strength and it does not require the Harness from Venom. Manifestation: Gargantuan Muscle Growth, greatly pronounced veins with the same green glowing fluid flowing, covered in a green and black mist, eyes glow white-green and temperament is greatly compromised.

 

Experimental DNA Bonding Compound - Demonic DNA - Codename: "Devil's Blood" (Taken by Mystics Apprentice.): In an attempt to harness the great power Elder Demons, or "Devils" as they are nicknamed, the Emperor captured an Elder Demon and took a sample of its DNA to his scientists to bond it to subjects in order to give his Guards more power, maybe even himself if successful. The bonding process was initially a disaster, Subjects being literally torn apart as the Devil Cells destroyed their Cells, making it impossible to create a Viable Life Form. However, in a last gambit, they attempted to create another cell to stabilize the Devil Cell into co-operating with the Subject's Cells and merging with them, called "GENOCELL". This artificial cell was mixed into the compound and injected into their last subjects, creating what they wanted, giving the Subjects the Powers, physiology and ability of the Elder Demons, slightly filtered down due to the Artificial Hybrid nature. Unfortunately, only one was left and they escaped due to an oversight that the Survivor has since corrected: GENOCELL was hastily made and thus was not perfected and eventually deteriorated, leaving many of them to be torn apart like the rest, while the survivor was able to fix the Artificial Cell and survive in the Criminal Underworld as a Super-Villain alongside many others, including the Venom Survivor. Manifestation: Demonic Wings, Talons, Demonic Energy crackles unstably and their power is but a shadow of a True Elder Demon. Their skin is scaly, red and their eyes completely yellow and glowing, small horns protrude from their head.

 

There can also be only one Elder Demon and that role can be given to any who wish to have it and be a Main Villain alongside Emperor Korben, but against everyone including the Emperor. If you want it, PM me. If not, I will assume the role.

I have taken the role of Elder Demon.

 

And there are many other miscellaneous Tonics that increase Longevity and other such things that will go unnamed.

Hmm, were you thinking in terms of my character being an adviser or trainer to your character, or perhaps her commander?  If so, sure!  I wasn't entirely certain on what you'd meant by handler.  I think that would be quite interesting, and I'd enjoy it if our characters worked directly with each other.  If Ari would be under your character I'm not sure if that would work, since Ari is a general and pretty high in the ranks.  Perhaps they could be peers?

First off, sorry if it was unclear - Ari would be the superior. My char isn't exactly going to be in the "chain of command."My char is another experiment of the Empire, except instead of Elder Demon blood, it's Archangel Blood :P so having your character control mine, per say, would be an interesting dilemma the Rebellion could look into.

(Keep in mind, the descriptions for the most part as just sort of folklore style legends. The designs and the actually directly defined attributes (heavier than 100 armies ect., incredibly sharp, ect.) Are all intended to just sound powerful, like revving your engine at a race event. He won't be cleaving through /everything/ in one hit. I just get too carried away with my descriptions and world sometimes xD)

Divine forged blades, made by his hand. Kylar, the Solar Blade, is famously known for it's edge. Sharper than anything to grace the earth prior, heavier than one-hundred armies worth of people, their equipment, and their desires to win. Nearly guaranteed to at least cleave through something due to it's edge, most of it's secondary effects are unknown to the lore. It has the ability to increase the user's strength ten fold due to the mixtures of multiple smithing and steel-forging styles and magical enchantments. it's approximate size is ten feet long, four feet wide with a dual-edged design. The blade itself is immensely heavy due to it's supreme carbon content, making the steel harder and able to hold an edge better than most weapons. It is, however, like hell to sharpen as well. It's lead/graphine mixture inner core gives it a nice balanced weight overall, it's extra weight there allows it to be held in one hand well enough that the user, if strong enough to lift it in the beginning, can use it one-handed without prior knowledge or extra strength. The core is as close to indestructible as you can get, and can be removed and used as a much smaller, but less sharp, however much lighter, faster, and more direct curved blade and the buster blade can then be converted to a heavy wall shield capable of blocking and destroying enemy weapons. The blade's outer core is made of a much softer iron, as to give the blade a bit of "flexibility" to it so the hardened edge doesn't shatter on impact with the enemy. When used in stroke, it increases the physical damage of Angelic Reign by three and the special by two for a few moments. The blade can fire off particulates of "Light", however this "light" doesn't always appear white. It's bright, but can also be a very shiny black instead, depending on who witnesses it's view of the world. However, it's true power is only revealed when coupled with Sular, the Lunar Blade during an eclipse. Primarily a Lunar eclipse.

 

Sular, the Lunar Blade. A rapier of unmatched weight. Lighter than air itself, yet just as sturdy as Kylar is sharp. Unbreakable due to the magic enchantments weighted on it, no matter how heavy a attack is, it will not break, and it will not bend in a way that deforms it. When it bends, it acts like rubber. However, this weapon is bound to Derik as well, unlike Kylar, Sular can only be wielded by Derik due to it's gaining of sentient thought. It can preform multiple magical attacks, but primarily likes to stick to Wind and Thunder-like attacks, and can be vanished and re-summoned to Derik at any time. Users attempting to steal the blade are met with it gluing itself to the offender's hand with a resin that does not break, tear, or otherwise release it's grip, it becomes immovable and promptly drags the person holding it to the ground or to their knees if they're strong enough to resist that much, and blasts them with blue smoke and confetti for claiming their prize. Known for it's unbridled ability to penetrate armor as well, very few armor types can even stay in a solid form after a slash from the lighting-fast blade. When used in a stroke, it increases the special damage of Demonic Reign by three and physical by two. It is made of a similar steel of Kylar, however, as it's a much smaller and thinner blade, to an extent of it's with being less than half an inch and it's length only five feet. Much like Kylar, it can fire off a "dark" particle, however just the same, the blast can instead appear as a dull white depending on the user's view of the world. Much like Kylar as well, it's true power is only revealed when with it's brother sword Kylar, the Solar Blade, during an eclipse. Primarily a Solar eclipse.

 

When paired together, Kylar and Sular during either a solar or lunar eclipse will instead mirror each other's abilities as well as use their own, and depending on the eclipse, a certain boost will apply. During Solar, Demon Reign goes up in all aspects, during Lunar, Angel increases similarly.

 

Paired with this, Derik carries around a box of throwing picks, sharpened to perfection as well, and laced with incredibly harmful effects, not just necessarily a toxic substance. Some picks are coated with an incredibly strong tranquilizer that very well kills dragons if they're left unconscious for a period too long, others an incredibly potent alcohol which can force the enemy user into a drunken stopper for a while, if they hit. He also has nerotoxin's, a pick for every kind of allergy known to man, and three unstable variants of very popular Tanzinites. Tough Guy, which can give the inflicted more resistance, but their energy and stamina constantly drain for twenty minutes, and then leaves mild nausea, Pack-A-Punch, which can force the muscles in the afflicted region with nasty inflammation, swelling, and noticeable weight and size growth, and Animal Instinct, which can mess with the user's vision, cause them to hallucinate, and or give false readings on beings near by them, can cause constipation.

 

Next, he also has the ability to channel his energy into specialty attacks. Be them energy-based, lighting fast strikes, or otherwise.

 

And finally, Derik's black coat. Much heavier than that of Kylar, the jacket is one of the heaviest objects to be created by human hands. Seemingly completely impenetrable, and providing a head protection aura around the user wearing the coat ensuring ranged weapons cannot deal damage to the user, it's weight slows the user down beyond all belief, but when training with it, it improves all other aspects of fighting outside of defensive abilities. It can be removed, but upon removal, the user's speed is incredible. Though he looses the weight of the jacket in attacks, his muscles being unhindered allows him to strike much harder, move much faster, farther, and gives him more mobility than previously thought. The jacket is enchanted to constantly grow heavier as per Derik's increasing strength.

Race Power(If Non-Human): As a human beyond the natural progression of life(Thus begin fully realized, or using the human body, mind, and spirit to it's absolute best), he has gained a few abilities. Considerably, he has the strength to topple armies, speed when not hindered to run far distances over water, when focused on it high speed flight, basic flight, minor (one-hundred meter) teleportation, energy-based attacks, incredible perception of the area around him. and gigantic reaction time. His most notable ability is to be able to negate any non-permanent or stolen powers and or abilities unless the user trained to specifically hone and master the ability themselves, or the boost is something that they have owned but no others had before, known as Will of the Warrior. It forces one to fight with the skills they have. Non-combat abilities are also shut off to prevent from enemies using telekinesis or other methods of calling for excess aid or support. He wants to keep the casualty's low, as a father who lost his child himself, he wouldn't want to have anyone loose their kin if it were at all avoidable. His secondary ability, which is out of battle, is just something any normal person would have the ability to do: See right through your bullshit when you try to make some up. Father's generally tend to learn how to do that with wild daughters.... Anyhow, a basic skill he does have as well is blacksmithing, however, he is very good at it.

 

Bio/History: Derik was born to a family based on the principal of strength is the only thing that matters. Kill who you want, no one will care. Grab anything you can. Be the strongest. However, when the young boy was the weakest of them all, he was ridiculed and used as a pin cushion more than a few times. His family reviled his weakness. They blamed it on the mother, who they were promised was the finest of the lands they controlled at the time, and executed her. She blamed Derik, even to that day. With that, Derik set off on a quest to get stronger. He ran from home in the dead of night, covered by a mage friend of his who knew just the spell to sneak him out. Afterwards, he ran, becoming a mercenary and fighting his family's rule wherever he could, taking requests and helping towns folk, though they always ended up resenting him for who he was when his identity was found. After many years of fighting, Derik managed to slay his father in a one-on-one duel. Afterwards, he didn't care what happened to the lands that he controlled, as during the time, he came to adopt a young girl who he named Ziio. She had been outcast as well, however from a much earlier age, and Derik came to love and support the girl as a father would, eventually obtaining custody of her from her birth parents. She decided to train and fight with her father, up until she could face him head-on in a true fight. When that happened, she took it on herself to finish her father's job, and was run through for it.

 

Afterwards, nothing mattered.

 

That little girl who he raised and supported nearly her whole life died. It was his fault. And so he slew his father. After that, he slew another, and another, and another of his kin. He killed every single one of his bloodline. Nothing mattered other than revenge. And nothing would make the pain stop. It hurt more than when his partner died protecting him from his own ineptitude. It was worse than when his mother was killed. They took someone from him he grew to think of as his own blood. And so that tore him apart.

 

After the destruction of that area of the world, many villages pillaged and destroyed in the man hunt, and the last of them slaughtered, he went into hiding to train and find himself after witnessing what destruction he had done. To grow stronger, to be a better person, and to repent for the destruction he had done. It was the last wish Ziio had asked him, to always grow stronger with him, to always be able to keep up with and stay around her daddy no matter what. With her ashes in a urn necklace, he tucked away and trained. He pushed himself beyond limits. And beyond those limits. At this point, his body began to stop aging and threats to the world would arise that he would handle discretely, as to keep the world from feeling the pain of loss like he had.. Impossibly strong magic users, monsters of power beyond all belief, and more. He had seen it all. He had fought it all. He had done it all. During his training, he learned from fortune teller Angels, Demons, and even, though it took some talking to the right statues in the right places, a few demi-gods, and learned that there is a power he has yet to get to, and if he were to obtain it, he would be able to face the threat this world now faces through the Tanzinites. The only hint they left was that the power lie in the stones of his past, whatever that meant.

 

Personality: A hardened warrior. Though he hates true violence, he can't resist a good sparring match with someone. He is addicted to combat, training, getting stronger. It's the only thing that dulls out the pain anymore. He fights hard, he works hard, he is diligent as well as ruthless. By no mean's is he a person to refuse to fight, he knows that a fight must happen sometimes to keep the balance. He normally doesn't meddle with the world anymore, but when there is an obvious danger, he comes to stop it. Presumably, he is two-hundred or so years old,  and as such, is relatively wise, and can recognize when the world is in danger. He is level-headed, despite the bits of folklore and song about his existence and his few good deeds for humanity, however like most fairy tales, the story's aren't exactly to the truth.

Weapon(s): Dual blades, a buster sword and a rapier of equal length to the buster sword. The edge of the Buster Sword is able to melt objects due to a friend of his enchanting it with a fire magic, same for the rapier, however it instead shoots winds. Both have been modified with the ability to produce a laser-esk casing on the edging through some connections in the underworld. As part of his training, his jacket is made of a heavy metal that he uses to limit his strength, forcing him to improve and grow in all aspects save defense as he trains or fights. It's a strong enough metal that shots from guns reflect off and slashes that are too committed to finishing it in a single blow can shatter the weapon on impact if it's too weak. He can remove the coat to improve in all aspects considerably, however his defense becomes less than desired.

Bio/History: His father was a scientist, one of few Orcish blooded individuals in the community of science. He was the father of many, including the young man Derik. Unlike the rest of his family, however, he was more human than the rest and as a result much weaker. So, his father used him as a training dummy for his own "unique" research into a stable and reusable Tanznite that increased power without any effects that couldn't be fixed through rest or other methods like healing machines. However, his job as a test subject ended after nearly two years of testing when he stole the most recent and nearly finished equivalent before it could be used in batch testing and to be refined and used it to overpower and defeat his father, destroy his research notes on them, and run away. On the run, he learned smithing, and became a mercenary, using his above-average strength to earn him the name Black Breaker. Now that he is much stronger and can see what the country his father so adored and worked for doing as it did, he joined the Resistance to try and bring back a freedom to this world that it hasn't seen in many years...

Personality: When he is fighting, he's a cocky, immature, sassy punk, outside of combat, however, he is a lot more relaxed. Preferring to avoid actual confrontation when possible but not ever turning down a good fight. He loves to spar and practice with people. Though he is normally relaxed when not in a situation where he is not needed to be serious, this isn't one of those times.

My char isn't exactly going to be in the "chain of command."My char is another experiment of the Empire, except instead of Elder Demon blood, it's Archangel Blood :P so having your character control mine, per say, would be an interesting dilemma the Rebellion could look into.

Personality: Manipulative and power-hungry, Cyler seeks out new abilities at every turn. He plans out his kills, his hunts, to every detail. And when things don't go as planned... well, he fortunately has enough power to take down any trouble he gets himself into. He only wants power, love and friendship mean nothing to him. However, Cyler is an oddly noble bloodthirsty killer. When he makes a promise, he keeps it. When he makes a deal, he does not break it unless the other participant broke it first. He is cruel and crude when it comes to his tactics, and if he wants a power, he will get it.

Bio/History: A high ranking Empire official's son, Vortludo ran away from home a few years ago. He found that he had discovered everything he could about life as a noble. So he traveled the world, exploring ruins and getting the treasures of magic artifacts. And now he is returning to the city. He has joined the Rebellion, intent on figuring out what else life has in store for him. He's a wayward soul, acting the way he wants to, when he wants to, and as such, despite the strength he offers to the resistance, is not trusted with anything important.

Personality: A complete jerk. He acts superior to others, often either showing off/boasting or mocking and insulting others. Fortunately, he at least has the grace and intelligence to not be blunt about it. Well, not as blunt as he could be. Instead he prefers to use artistry is his conversation, wordplay, imagery, metaphors. The fangs of a snake hidden in the beauty of a poet's pen. When he isn't preening himself or jabbing at others, he likes to keep himself well-rounded. He loves literature, the sciences, art, magic, and of course, swordplay.

He continued his research, eventually developing his own chemical. In theory, it would do exactly as intended. With this Tanzynite alone, one could use multiple other Tanzynites. With no test subject, Cyler took it himself. He found himself feeling wonderfully powerful, incredibly powerful. But he could do nothing. He went to another Empire scientist, one that used the Telekinesis Tanzynite, and kissed her. And he felt the power of her surge into him. With her power, he made the final metamorphosis. He must become the most powerful on the planet, in the universe. An immortal god. And he would get respect however he must. So he cut her skull in half. Now he's on the run. He has since also murdered an illusion mage, and two other Tanzynite users. And he will not stop.

Accepted!  I do have a question concerning Cyler, however: you mentioned that he is not a mage and yet has magic.  I believe the abilities gained through tanzynite are different than that of magic, so if he had magic I would assume that he's a mage to some level.  Otherwise, it all looks good!

Through his Tanzynite Copycat, he was able to mimick the illusion magic by killing the mage. So he can use the magic, but I wouldn't call him a mage since he didn't acquire the magical power through normal means. Copycat works not only on Tanzynite abilities, but also magic and Race powers.

The armor is a heavy armor, although not exactly heavy as to slow down movement, as witchers utilize their mobility above all else in battle, the armor is strong enough to deflect bullets, even 50 cal. rounds can't ge through the thick plates, and multi layered chain mail, although the impact hurts the user still, also tempered with special materials, which increase the user's magical resistance.

 

Heavy enough to sustain damage, but light enough to not slow down movement, a marvel of crafting by a master armorer from the witcher clan.

 

Weapons: Swords, Steel and silver (Shown in picture).

 

Steel: Used for humanoid enemies, with or without magic powers, the steel sword is perfect for killing normal natural foes, like humans and elves, albeit reliable against demons and angels, a silver blade is much stronger in that regard. Tempered to near perfection, making it nigh unbreakable, Mikhail's swords, both silver and steel can pierce armor extremely easily, and enhanced with runes that disable an opponent's magic on hit, and add more to the weapon's durability.

 

Silver: Used for fighting monsters, be they demons, angels or regular run of the mill monsters, or mutants created by failed experiments, the silver burns the skins of demons and angel's alike, leaving wounds that won't heal by normal means, capable of piercing magic barriers and armors alike due to special runes engraved onto the weapon, nigh unbreakable as well, can be enhanced with fire or electricity should the need arise.

 

Power status: Full fledged witcher ( xD) (A force to be reckoned with)

 

Magic: Several witcher "signs" which immitate basic and intermediate spells, ranging from fire blasts, to protective shields, to manipulating someone's mind, to even using a telekinetic blast to propel enemies.

The Witcher's Trial pure Tanzynite: the tanzynite which gave him his witcher abilities, and altered his body to something better than a human's, giving him boosted strenght, agility,thinking,reflexes and senses as a result (Also makes him sterile), allows him to inbue deadly potions that would kill a normal man, which increases his abilities. Also increases his natural healing, wounds can be seen healing in plain sight.

 

Pack-A-Punch: Obtained through dealings with the rebellion, increases his already high strenght, although the Witcher's Tanzynite makes it so that it doesn't alter his muscle mass, he still gains the benefits of it.

 

Cyclone Rush: Acquired through dealings with the Criminal underworld, allows him to enhance his signs, specialy the telekinetic blast for further knockback, and control the wind to enhance his sword slashes, making them even deadlier, The witcher's Tanzynite disables any manifestation, but reduces some of its effects.

The witchers are a secretive bunch, who have known about the earth's material, or dubbed Tanzynite by the Empire, for many years, utilizing it within their apprentice's trials, through  gruesome trial, where the Man or woman is tied to a table, and adminitered several herbs that literally destroy their nervous system, if they survive, only then the Pure Witcher Tanzynite is administered, causing even more pain, and increasing the chances of death even more, as it rebuilds the body's entire structure and systems.

 

At most, 3 out of 10 kids taken to do the trials survive, the others die or become cripples, those who survive are given incredible powers, much stronger, faster,tougher than the normal human, making them a match for even demons and angels, although they lack in strenght or magic the Demons and angels, they make it up in versatility and strategy, such a reason not even the Empire dares to attack the Witcher's fortress of Kaer Morhen.

 

Mikhail was taken in as a child, survived the trials, and as all witchers, set off on the path, working in many different areas of the region, recently arriving at the Korbenic Empire, he had the displeasure of having several attempts to capture him, to further experimentation from the Empire, all failed, ending in death from the attackers, he soon started working with the Criminal underworld and the Rebellion, becoming a reliable asset to the rebellion, as long as he is paid of course.

 

Personality: Sarcastic, sometimes grumpy, friendly and kind, introverted mostly, but likes to comment on things and other people, with sarcasm clear on his tone almost always, although he is hard to read, showing minimal expressions on his face.

Race: Human/ Giant hybrid, however he took more to his human side, being a 12th generation of this bloodline with a human mother only diluting it even farther.

Side(Rebellion, Empire, Criminal Underworld): Rebellion.

Weapon(s): Dual blades, a buster sword and a rapier of equal length to the buster sword. The edge of the Buster Sword is able to melt objects due to a friend of his enchanting it with a fire magic, same for the rapier, however it instead shoots winds. Both have been modified with the ability to produce a laser-esk casing on the edging through some connections in the underworld. As part of his training, his jacket is made of a heavy metal that he uses to limit his strength, forcing him to improve and grow in all aspects save defense as he trains or fights. It's a strong enough metal that shots from guns reflect off and slashes that are too committed to finishing it in a single blow can shatter the weapon on impact if it's too weak. He can remove the coat to improve in all aspects considerably, however his defense becomes less than desired. It is also lined with Lead for extra weight, and a rubber lining as well, making heat and electricity basically useless. He also backs some very powerful and sharp throwing picks, they have special toxins that can temporarily nullify enemy Tanzynite abilities, as well as some coated with unstable Tanzinite doses that can have very adverse, though temporary, adverse effects, like an unstable Pack-A-Punch that can make the infected person's area of the body where struck have its muscles swell, disabling it or on a very bad reaction make it too large for the person to move effectively on the ground due to it's weight.

Race Power(If Non-Human): Increased strength, and due to his smaller stature compared to others with his genetic line, higher speed, carrying capacity, dexterity, and agility. He does have decent magical resistance due to his blood lone as well

Bio/History: His father was a scientist, one of few Orcish blooded individuals in the community of science. He was the father of many, including the young man Derik. Unlike the rest of his family, however, he was more human than the rest and as a result much weaker. So, his father used him as a training dummy for his own "unique" research into a stable and reusable Tanznite that increased power without any effects that couldn't be fixed through rest or other methods like healing machines. However, his job as a test subject ended after nearly two years of testing when he stole the most recent and nearly finished equivalent before it could be used in batch testing and to be refined and used it to overpower and defeat his father, destroy his research notes on them, and run away. On the run, he learned smithing, and became a mercenary, using his above-average strength to earn him the name Black Breaker. Now that he is much stronger and can see what the country his father so adored and worked for doing as it did, he joined the Resistance to try and bring back a freedom to this world that it hasn't seen in many years...

Personality: When he is fighting, he's a cocky, immature, sassy punk, outside of combat, however, he is a lot more relaxed. Preferring to avoid actual confrontation when possible but not ever turning down a good fight. He loves to spar and practice with people. Though he is normally relaxed when not in a situation where he is not needed to be serious, this isn't one of those times.

Tempered to near perfection, making it nigh unbreakable, Mikhail's swords, both silver and steel can pierce armor extremely easily, and enhanced with runes that disable an opponent's magic on hit, and add more to the weapon's durability.

 

Silver: Used for fighting monsters, be they demons, angels or regular run of the mill monsters, or mutants created by failed experiments, the silver burns the skins of demons and angel's alike, leaving wounds that won't heal by normal means, capable of piercing magic barriers and armors alike due to special runes engraved onto the weapon, nigh unbreakable as well, can be enhanced with fire or electricity should the need arise.

 

Power status: Full fledged witcher ( xD) (A force to be reckoned with)

 

Magic: Several witcher "signs" which immitate basic and intermediate spells, ranging from fire blasts, to protective shields, to manipulating someone's mind, to even using a telekinetic blast to propel enemies.

 

Tanzynites:

 

The Witcher's Trial pure Tanzynite: the tanzynite which gave him his witcher abilities, and altered his body to something better than a human's, giving him boosted strenght, agility,thinking,reflexes and senses as a result (Also makes him sterile), allows him to inbue deadly potions that would kill a normal man, which increases his abilities. Also increases his natural healing, wounds can be seen healing in plain sight.

 

Pack-A-Punch: Obtained through dealings with the rebellion, increases his already high strenght, although the Witcher's Tanzynite makes it so that it doesn't alter his muscle mass, he still gains the benefits of it.

 

Cyclone Rush: Acquired through dealings with the Criminal underworld, allows him to enhance his signs, specialy the telekinetic blast for further knockback, and control the wind to enhance his sword slashes, making them even deadlier, The witcher's Tanzynite disables any manifestation, but reduces some of its effects.

 

 

 

Tonics: Bought or acquire through missions.

 

Scamper speed: Increasing his already faster than human speed.

 

Tough guy: Making him more durable

 

Enduring bolt: Increasing his stamina even more than the witcher's tanzynite.

 

Race power: Witcher's senses: A witcher can sense, see, smell and hear enemies from much farther than even some animals, he can detect foes, even when they are sneaking up on him by up to 15 meters of distance, and detect smells and certain aspects of things, specially useful when detecting someone's lies.

Once a normal man, turned mutant by the witcher's Tanzynite, the witcher caste is not known very well in its origins, but its reputation is very well known, the witchers, sthrive to this day, on hunting, be it humans or demons, accepting contracts to either protect, kill and others.

 

The witchers are a secretive bunch, who have known about the earth's material, or dubbed Tanzynite by the Empire, for many years, utilizing it within their apprentice's trials, through  gruesome trial, where the Man or woman is tied to a table, and adminitered several herbs that literally destroy their nervous system, if they survive, only then the Pure Witcher Tanzynite is administered, causing even more pain, and increasing the chances of death even more, as it rebuilds the body's entire structure and systems.

 

At most, 3 out of 10 kids taken to do the trials survive, the others die or become cripples, those who survive are given incredible powers, much stronger, faster,tougher than the normal human, making them a match for even demons and angels, although they lack in strenght or magic the Demons and angels, they make it up in versatility and strategy, such a reason not even the Empire dares to attack the Witcher's fortress of Kaer Morhen.

 

Mikhail was taken in as a child, survived the trials, and as all witchers, set off on the path, working in many different areas of the region, recently arriving at the Korbenic Empire, he had the displeasure of having several attempts to capture him, to further experimentation from the Empire, all failed, ending in death from the attackers, he soon started working with the Criminal underworld and the Rebellion, becoming a reliable asset to the rebellion, as long as he is paid of course.

 

Personality: Sarcastic, sometimes grumpy, friendly and kind, introverted mostly, but likes to comment on things and other people, with sarcasm clear on his tone almost always, although he is hard to read, showing minimal expressions on his face.
