In a world failing to thrive rests a society of varying races.  Some embrace one another, while others shun and condemn them. The Elves have quarrelled with the Humans and now reside closer to the mountain range, while Mages have taken into living sheltered and quiet lives, stifling the whispers of their inherited gifts lest they be torn from their homes and slaughtered like animals.  At the heart of all this chaos and strife stands the Korbenic Empire, ruled by none other than an emperor of blood and power named Korben.  The Korbenic Empire has risen above and beyond all cultures and societies, all due to one experiment having gone right.

 

Tanzynite, a chemical derived from the very core of the earth itself, has been mutated and perfected in the imperial labs and have reached subjects of all natures.  Some variants of Tanzynite can heal, while others can kill.  Some can enhance vitality, strength, and stamina, while others yet can enhance magical abilities.  One of the most valuable of all can alter one's body to be independent and not relying on nutrients for survival, something that others would do almost anything to acquire in a dying world where crops won't prosper.  Tanzynite has also been abused: people crave it, long for it, and kill for it, only to feed their addictions and need for massive amounts of Tanzynite that will eventually corrupt their hearts and cripple their bodies.  While Tanzynite has been a miracle, it has also been a deadly curse.

 

The prices have raised for Tanzynite and alliances to the empire have increased for this substance, creating it nigh impossible for everyone to get their hands on Tanzynite that require it for their very existence.  With alliances the Korbenic Empire has only grown, its power ever influencing upon the world.  With every nation that surrenders to the empire much blood is shed.  Mages, who are considered an abomination, are killed, children are randomly plucked from homes to be brought in for lab experiments, and races other than Humans are oft times experimented on as well--or worse.  Slavery has become abundant on those who are poor, and oppression within the imperial territories is stifling.  Only a handful of nations remain that haven't aligned themselves at the feet of the Empire, and it isn't long before they wither away and die entirely.

 

You have to choose a side in this struggle for mere survival.  Your decisions alone will impact the fate of society as a whole.  Are you apart of the empire, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you live a comfortable life and remain the empire's right hand man, or are you a freedom fighter who will fight for your society's independence?  Will you embrace others who are different, those who your culture has rejected and rebelled for their difference in race, or will you be defiant and struggle on your own, even though you need them as much as they need you?  You choose, but choose wisely.  The fate of the world rests upon your decision.

RP Rules:

1: No Godmodding/Meta-Gaming, trust me; I'll know.

3: You can create as many characters as you want, but try not to bite off more than you can chew i.e: Make too many characters for you to effectively handle.

4: If any rules are broken, you will be given a Warning. Break them again and you're off the RP. Godmodding/Meta-Gaming, depending on severity can result in an immediate removal. My co-host, Mystics Apprentice, can also issue warnings.

5: Feel free to contribute to the story. This is an RP after all. :) In fact, I encourage it!

6: If you need to be off the site for long periods of time or just simply wish to leave the RP, please tell us! :) That way, you won't just be discounted or thought a deserter for just up and leaving or being too inactive.

7: You can be Rebellion, Empire or a member of the Criminal Underworld. For the latter, I encourage "Batman: Arkham Series Rogues Gallery" levels of creativity for the Criminals, it'll make things interesting.

8: For Non-Human Races, you can pick practically anything you please, be it: Werewolf, Vampire, Succubi, Incubi, Demon, Nephilim, Cambion, etc etc etc.

9: Tanzynite Creation is difficult and requires great scientific expertise, so unless your character is a Scientist, Highly Intelligent or just has a knack for chemicals, you can't create your own Tanzynite Chemicals. (But me and Mystic can. xP) You may request Custom Tanzynites be made via PM and I shall evaluate them though.

10: Auto-Hitting and Mass Slaughter are highly restricted here. Only the Hosts can Auto-Hit freely, but we will not abuse it. Mass Slaughter cannot be done on a whim, only if asked for and we shall evaluate.

List of Tanzynite Chemicals:

 

Primary Chemicals: Commonly called: "Instigators". These serve as more offensive and action based abilities.

 

Electro Bolt: "Feel like the Thunder God himself! Electro Bolt will let you fire off bolts of Electricity at will! Warning: Water and Lightning don't mix." With this chemical compound, you can fire Electricity/Lightning from your hands, be it in bursts, a constant stream or a simple jolt. Manifestation: Blue Energy courses through the users veins, along with Electricity coursing around the users body occasionally on its own or at the will of the user.

 

Satan's Touch: "Feel the heat! Satan's Touch will cause you to be able to wreathe whatever you want in Flames! Warning: Fire spreads." This chemical compound will allow you to light anything on fire with Fireballs, Flamethrowing, Fire Breath and allows you to heat anything you touch with your Body Heat. Manifestation: Severe burns on the user's body along with a visible, pulsing and glowing orange heat underneath the body of the user, Irises glow Orange too and Fire seems to be burning inside, ready to be unleashed.

 

Sting of Winter: "Feel the chill in your bones! Sting of Winter gives you Icy Powers to freeze your enemies! Multi-Purpose Capabilities Guaranteed." This chemical compound grants the ability to freeze your enemies, water and other objects. It can also be shaped into Armour and Icy Spikes can be extended from your hands to make yourself a Cryo-Weapon. Manifestation: Permafrost covers body, with the hands having Ice Burns along with small Icicles/Spikes protruding from the skin (Yes, they have blood in them) which can be extended. An Icy Mist emanates from the user and when Armoured and/or using the Icicles as weapons, more ice and burns cover the user.

 

Flash Flood: "Go with the flow! Flash Flood can wash away your enemies! Warning: Water's stronger than you may think." This chemical compound allows you to assail your enemies with Waves of Water to push them away, High-Pressure Jets to wear away at them, mildly telekinetically suspended in the air Bubbles filled with water that can either explode to shower opposition or encase opponents in it to drown them, wear down their limbs or be exploded out of them to weaken and surprise them. Manifestation: Water courses and drips down the users hands but it can be contained around the hands and manipulated for effect, mutations similar to suction cups and barnacles on an Octopus form on the hands and condensation emits from their body.

 

Cyclonic Rush: "Stand firm against the breeze! Cyclonic Rush will blow your enemies away! Warning: Wind does more than push." This chemical compound will let you blow away enemies with Gusts of Wind. It can also allow formation of Mini-Cyclones or Tornadoes to cause major damage. You can also breathe strong air currents from your mouth that can be sustained as long as you can exhale and all wind effects can cause Wind Erosion on a quickened scale, which is particularly painful to enemies. Manifestation: Wind currents circulate around users arms and hands while veins pulse with White Energy, clothing and hair is in a constant Windswept effect due to internal winds blowing.

 

Telekinesis: "Steel your mind! Telekinesis is as blunt as it gets, allowing you to pick up and throw objects with your mind!" This chemical compound allows you to use the Psychic Energy/Potential in your mind to use Psychokinesis/Telekinesis to levitate and throw objects at whim. However, it can also be used to assault the minds of Weak-Willed people, incapacitating them. You can also read minds, but to a limited extent. Manifestation: The force used is visible, but no other discernible effect is present externally on the user. Internally, brainwaves and MRI Readings are radically different from a normal brain.

 

Blinding Light: "Shine amongst the stars! Blinding Light gives you control over the Light to blind your enemies! Warning: It can also burn." This chemical compound allows you to control the Light Element of the Universe to blind, scorch or otherwise impede your enemies with what basically amounts to Pure Energy. Burning Beams can be fired straight from the hands when the power is charged up. Manifestation: Pure Energy courses through the users veins, pulsating at all times. The users hands are crackling with power while the scorching effects of the Light leave blackened burns on the some parts of the skin and visible cracks and tears in the arms produce light as the body attempts to contain it all within.

 

Smothering Darkness: "Cast your enemies into the Shadows! Smothering Darkness lets you control the Darkness and Shadows to assault your enemies! Warning: Power corrupts." This chemical compound allows you to control the Darkness Element of the Universe to smother, corrupt, hurt or otherwise make your opponent suffer with the Shadows themselves or the literal Darkness that resides in everything, including yourself. Shadow Orbs can be created and thrown to explode on impact when the power is charged up. Manifestation: Dark Purple Energy courses through the users veins, softly and slowly pulsating at all times. The users hands are swathed in Dark Mist while the corrupting effects darken the skin on the hands and arms and the skin is flaking off while Dark Tendrils are latching to the skin like parasites. Visible cracks and tears in the arms produce Darkness as the body attempts to contain it all within.

 

Pack-A-Punch: "Feel the power coursing through your muscles! Pack-A-Punch allows you to push boulders and punch walls! Warning: Don't strain yourself." This chemical compound increases your strength greatly, increasing Muscle Mass to 4x their normal mass, allowing for harder punches and kicks along with the ability to lift up heavy objects and even throw them. Manifestation: Bigger, evenly distributed muscles throughout the body, all veins are more pronounced and occasionally a green, glowing fluid flows through them.

 

Rocky Road: "Make the Earth tremble at your step! Rocky Road allows you to shake up the place and throw rocks! Warning: Rocks are hard." This chemical compound allows you to control the Earth Elements to shake the ground with Earthquakes, raise Rock Pillars, throw Rocks, split the ground open and toughen yourself up with Earthy Armour. Manifestation: Hands and forearms are entirely covered in a thick rock cover but still have full mobility, small stones form on the upper arm and the users voice becomes Earthy.

 

 

Secondary Chemicals: Commonly called "Tonics". Have more of a passive, but still apparent effect.

 

Scamper Speed: This Tonic allows the user to run 2x faster than the average person, also allowing them to run for longer, but the user would be at risk of overheating like a Cheetah if they run for too long. Has no manifestation.

 

Chameleon: This Tonic allows the user to become invisible to the naked eye when they stand still for a period of time. It activates after 5 seconds of standing still. It cannot be used when moving. Manifestation is quite evident.

 

Tough Guy/Girl: This Tonic toughens the user up, allowing them to soak up a more damage than a normal person before weakening, dying etc. Has no manifestation.

 

Marksman: This Tonic increases the users Hand-Eye Co-ordination, allowing them to aim firearms better and more effectively. Has no manifestation.

 

Brains and Brains: This Tonic increases the users intelligence and their ability to tinker with things. Has no manifestation.

 

Houdini: This Tonic allows the user to teleport at will. Manifestation: Only appears when teleporting, all veins and irises turn red before the user disappears in a flurry of Rose Petals and Red Mist.

 

Enduring Bolt: This Tonic boosts the stamina of the user, allowing them to run longer, fight longer and exercise longer. Has no manifestation.

 

Night Piercer: This Tonic allows the user to see in the Dark of Night more effectively, works as organic Night Vision Goggles. Manifestation: Eyes glow Night Vision Green when active.

 

Animal Instinct: This Tonic allows the user to sense nearby organics, regardless of species unless they are Demons or Angels. Has no manifestation.

 

Gymnastic Expert: This Tonic grants the user enhanced flexibility and mobility, allowing them to move more fluidly, flip and slink into tight spaces. Has no manifestation.

 

 

Experimental Tanzynite Chemicals - These Chemicals cannot be picked for normal usage and are for certain characters only. However, if you so desire, you can PM me to ask to use these Chemicals, but only one per person.

 

Experimental Strength Compound - Codename "Venom" (Taken by myself, used by NPC's.): This Instigator-Class Chemical was in development by order of the Emperor himself as he wanted Super-Human enforcers with the strength to topple any opposition. It derives partially from the Pack-A-Punch Chemical in concept but strength would be increased to a far greater level than that chemical can offer and makes the subject far more bulky, but requires a Injector System/Harness mounted to the subject to keep the chemical flowing and in effect. It is also far more addictive than average compounds, with the withdrawal symptoms often being so severe that they result in death. Initial tests on human subjects often resulted in death, be it from Cardiac Arrest or their Hearts flat out exploding from the pressure and rush of bodily chemicals and the chemical itself. It was only after one Subject survived and subsequently broke out that they had enough results to make a stable compound. However, the escapee stole all research notes and all samples of the fluid, learned how to produce more and perfect it and has since sold it in the Black Market in the Criminal Underworld. Manifestation: Users are often Seven-Feet Tall, with large muscles, facial scarring, heavily pronounced veins and green glowing fluid frequently flowing through them. Behaviour is often far more aggressive but intelligence is not dampened.

 

Experimental Strength Compound - Codename "TN-1" (Taken by myself, used by NPC's and in Scrap's planned character backstory.) : This Instigator-Class Chemical is currently in the testing phases under the eye of the man who escaped Venom Testing with the compound and is currently trying to improve it and remove its addictive qualities while at the same time creating a "Super-Venom". initial tests made have shown promise, a more permanent transformation of grotesque proportions, with subjects growing to 10 Feet in height, their muscles expanding massively and their strength great enough to blast through a platoon of enemies while shrugging off bullets. As it is in testing phases, there are problems. While the subject is bulletproof and insanely strong, they are not invincible as the full effect takes 10 minutes or more to take effect and usage damages the Memory Centres of the Brain, causing Memory Loss and Brain Damage. Intelligence is dampened as the user roars and is reduced to Hulk Speak and is very single minded, but usually makes up for it in brute strength and it does not require the Harness from Venom. Manifestation: Gargantuan Muscle Growth, greatly pronounced veins with the same green glowing fluid flowing, covered in a green and black mist, eyes glow white-green and temperament is greatly compromised.

 

Experimental DNA Bonding Compound - Demonic DNA - Codename: "Devil's Blood" (Taken by Mystics Apprentice.): In an attempt to harness the great power Elder Demons, or "Devils" as they are nicknamed, the Emperor captured an Elder Demon and took a sample of its DNA to his scientists to bond it to subjects in order to give his Guards more power, maybe even himself if successful. The bonding process was initially a disaster, Subjects being literally torn apart as the Devil Cells destroyed their Cells, making it impossible to create a Viable Life Form. However, in a last gambit, they attempted to create another cell to stabilize the Devil Cell into co-operating with the Subject's Cells and merging with them, called "GENOCELL". This artificial cell was mixed into the compound and injected into their last subjects, creating what they wanted, giving the Subjects the Powers, physiology and ability of the Elder Demons, slightly filtered down due to the Artificial Hybrid nature. Unfortunately, only one was left and they escaped due to an oversight that the Survivor has since corrected: GENOCELL was hastily made and thus was not perfected and eventually deteriorated, leaving many of them to be torn apart like the rest, while the survivor was able to fix the Artificial Cell and survive in the Criminal Underworld as a Super-Villain alongside many others, including the Venom Survivor. Manifestation: Demonic Wings, Talons, Demonic Energy crackles unstably and their power is but a shadow of a True Elder Demon. Their skin is scaly, red and their eyes completely yellow and glowing, small horns protrude from their head.

 

There can also be only one Elder Demon and that role can be given to any who wish to have it and be a Main Villain alongside Emperor Korben, but against everyone including the Emperor. If you want it, PM me. If not, I will assume the role.

I have taken the role of Elder Demon.

 

And there are many other miscellaneous Tonics that increase Longevity and other such things that will go unnamed.

Sword made from the dread rock material, it is capable of piercing thick armor plating, and to an extent, nullify any sort of magical resistance against Darkness on impact, the sword glows with power, and glows more the more power Henry accumulates.

Power status: Dread Lord, or rather dreadnaught.

 

Magic: Darkness, Earth and wind magic, utilizes them mostly to enhance his meele capabilities, but can also be used at range.

 

Instigators: Enhanced Smothering darkness :Works in tandem with his experimental compound.  

 

Satan's touch: Combines with his experimental compound, creating a crimson colored flame, with greater potency.

 

Cyclone rush: Used to enhance his wind magic, as well as boosting his speed to up to three times a normal human's

 

 

Tonics:  

 

Tough guy

 

Enduring bolt

 

Scamper speed.

 

 

Experimental compound: Dread Lord's compound.

Day 3 post injection: We've exposed the subject to the compound three days ago, and it seems to already be showing effects, some of which seem to combine the Instigators of Smothering darkness and Rocky road and Pack-A-punch, creating black-crimsom-like rocks, which apparently are indestructible even by a TN-1 compound subject who was enhanced after months of experimentation, these rocks seem to have traces of what seems like crimson colored darkness coming off them, showing the sheer magical potensity coming off them, above all that, he seems to constantly accumulate energy when in a hostile state, or rather when fighting.

 

Day 6: subject was bed-ridden with extreme pain, X-rays showed his bones being affected by the compound.

 

Day 8 post injection: Upon running an X-ray test on the subject it shows that his bones seem to have become made of these rocks as well, that explains the screaming of pain on Day 6, the subject as a result of this, is infused with the rock's power and the darkness as well, increasing his strenght by an extreme ammount, also increasing his endurance to near TN-1 capabilities, his bones seem imcapable of breaking and his control over darkness allows him to de-materialize himself and reappear somewhere else in the vicinity, truly a remarkable compound we've made.

 

Day 10: We've put him to test how strong he is with this compound adapting to him like this, against a TN-1 subject, the Dread lord's compound subject suffered heavy damage, although only after hours upon being beaten to a pulp by the TN-1 which had trouble pinning him down due to his speed and remarkable strenght, the subject's wounds healed fully within 12 hours, no bone damage was detected during any moment of the test, suffering mostly internal damage from pressure, but those were healed by the compound, somehow, it can regenerate tissue.

 

Day 29 post injection: The subject showed increasingly higher potential by each day that passed, however today we've administered some instigators onto him, primarily Satan's touch, Cyclone rush and a modified brand of Smothering Darkness. All of which were not only injected and used without trouble, but also enhanced by the Dread lord compound, turning the Satan's touch into a crimson-like or purple flames with higher than normal intensity and power, Cyclone rush didn't show much difference than norma, but allowed him to boost his speed even more.

 

Interesting however was smothering darkness which boosted his already enhanced darkness capabilities by the compound, allowing him to charge energy at a faster rate, and increasing the raw potency of his darkness abilities.

 

Suprisingly though, the pack-a-punch and Rocky road instigators were uncompatible, and rejected by his system, disabling their effect, as their effect comes packed into the dreadnaught compound, so we had to use the other instigators instead.

 

Day 50 post injection: Tough-guy tonic , Enduring bolt and Scamper speed were accepted by his speed and flawlessly implemented, negating most of his hindered speed due to what we now call as "Dread bones", tough guy tonic increasing his already high durability even more and Enduring bolt ensuring he doesn't tire out due to overworking off his body.

 

Day 60 post injection: A surprise happened today, the subject, after concentrating and accumulating energy long enough, managed to not only create a sword out of the rocks, which not only cut through our most powerful steel, but managed to pierce even an angel's armor, which is usually holy in elemental property, but thats not all, the user soon after sheating the sword created a crimson colored suit of armor made of the rocks, which not only rendered him practicaly invulnerable to damage, to an extent that even a TN-1 Couldn't knock him back or maker him stagger, not only that but he surpassed the TN-1 in strenght while wearing the armor.

 

Yet another surprise came when TN-1 began to lose his vital signs just by staying near the Dread Lord compound's subject while he was wearing the armor, although heavy magic would cause some damage to the armor, it simply rebuilt itself back up, however this armor seems to slow the subject down to a crawl, slowing down his walking speed to only a fast walk, further testing needed to subvert this.

 

Day 61: Upon immediate discovery of the armor, we've begun anti-magic tests, however these tests were a failure, and armor, nor any of the subject's magic abilities were disabled or weakened, seems lik it was an unexpected mutation of the compound during creation, very interesting.

 

Day 80: We've decided on an ultimatum, since none of our archangel subjects could put a big dent within the armor, nor could any of our weapon ordinance, even the TN-1 proved incapable of doing so, we have decided that one of our most dangerous subjects would be used to test the armor's real power.

 

None other than Chrysalis herself the angel's blood holder, pitted in the same testing area as the Dread lord's compound subject, we've ordered Chrysalis to attack him with her most powerful attack, albeit it took a while for her to attack as they seemed to have a nice little chat before the real test began.

 

THe power of Chrysalis, while extremely powerful, more powerful than even some of our best archangels and machines, couldn't destroy the armor, although it put a large dent into its chest area, but not deep enough to show his skin, even though being light and the Dread lord's compound having a weakness to it, the dent in the armor soon repaired itself, within ten minutes, an impressive display of durability.

 

Day: 143: Subject...escaped...broke free as he was being transferred to another cell, we couldn't stop the armor mode effectively, the soldiers nicknaming it "Dreadnaught mode", he blew right through our defenses, and destroyed a great deal of equipment and building structure, his whereabouts are unknown, as he deactivated the armor and disappeared in a bright flash of darkness, we don't know where he is, or what he intends to do, only one thing is clear now...he is out for revenge, against us it seems...god helps us all

Race power: Perpetual charge, for some reason the Dread lord's constantly charges power during battle, in which all accumulated energy is purged at the end of the battle, this power is generated at a faster rate the more he fights, the longer he fights, enabling him for increasingly more ferocious attacks as the fight goes on.

 

Energy can still be charged manualy however, and the Dreadnaught armor requires a large ammount of energy to have been accumulated before being manifested.

A young man, of rather unknown story, he only knew his mother as a child, lived in the poor parts of the city, his mother constantly sick, forcing him to work at an early age, ending up in the criminal underworld for a time before he surrendered to the Empire as they held his mother hostage, forcing him to join on several experiments, some of which gave him magical abilities in the form of darkness, earth and wind, his mother soon died of sickness, but these news were never given to him during testing, he kept a false hope that they'd release him to see her again, but all for naught, as he soon discovered about it, and was genuinely crestfallen.

 

Knowing he had nothing to lose anymore he signed for the Dread lord compound's test (See Experiment log above), and was given great power through it, although he had been through much pain for it, but he finally had the power to strike the empire back, all he needed was to get away, and he did by taking advantage when he was being transferred to a new holding cell.

 

Soon after leaving he spent a few months striking at the Empire, a few times, gaining quite a reputation of fear and hatred within them, a bounty placed on his head, dead or alive even, and as a result the rebelion has been wanting his help, although he only shows up to help on certain occasions, he has become welcome at their base, although most don't trust him as he hasn't swore loyalty to them, he has, however, been helping them with increasing frequence, often coming to even the odds between the Rebellion forces and the Empire.

 

Personality: Kind hearted, although not naive, easily cocky when the situation is on his favor, surprisingly quick witted and sarcastic, seem to be indiferent to most people, treating them the same no matter who they are, he is quick to trust, but any who betrayed him ended up dead, he almost never starts a fight unless he sees no other option, often trying to intimidate or persuade his opponents to turn back.

He is not afraid to take matters into his own hands, to do whats right, he holds a deep hatred for the Empire and for what they did to him, blaming them for the death of his mother

He has grown fond of utilizing his power and is quite excited when fighting with it.

Sword made from the dread rock material, it is capable of piercing thick armor plating, and to an extent, nullify any sort of magical resistance against Darkness on impact, the sword glows with power, and glows more the more power Henry accumulates.

Power status: Dread Lord, or rather dreadnaught.

 

Magic: Darkness, Earth and wind magic, utilizes them mostly to enhance his meele capabilities, but can also be used at range.

 

Instigators: Enhanced Smothering darkness :Works in tandem with his experimental compound.  

 

Satan's touch: Combines with his experimental compound, creating a crimson colored flame, with greater potency.

 

Cyclone rush: Used to enhance his wind magic, as well as boosting his speed to up to three times a normal human's

 

 

Tonics:  

 

Tough guy

 

Enduring bolt

 

Scamper speed.

 

 

Experimental compound: Dread Lord's compound.

Day 3 post injection: We've exposed the subject to the compound three days ago, and it seems to already be showing effects, some of which seem to combine the Instigators of Smothering darkness and Rocky road and Pack-A-punch, creating black-crimsom-like rocks, which apparently are indestructible even by a TN-1 compound subject who was enhanced after months of experimentation, these rocks seem to have traces of what seems like crimson colored darkness coming off them, showing the sheer magical potensity coming off them, above all that, he seems to constantly accumulate energy when in a hostile state, or rather when fighting.

 

Day 6: subject was bed-ridden with extreme pain, X-rays showed his bones being affected by the compound.

 

Day 8 post injection: Upon running an X-ray test on the subject it shows that his bones seem to have become made of these rocks as well, that explains the screaming of pain on Day 6, the subject as a result of this, is infused with the rock's power and the darkness as well, increasing his strenght by an extreme ammount, also increasing his endurance to near TN-1 capabilities, his bones seem imcapable of breaking and his control over darkness allows him to de-materialize himself and reappear somewhere else in the vicinity, truly a remarkable compound we've made.

 

Day 10: We've put him to test how strong he is with this compound adapting to him like this, against a TN-1 subject, the Dread lord's compound subject suffered heavy damage, although only after hours upon being beaten to a pulp by the TN-1 which had trouble pinning him down due to his speed and remarkable strenght, the subject's wounds healed fully within 12 hours, no bone damage was detected during any moment of the test, suffering mostly internal damage from pressure, but those were healed by the compound, somehow, it can regenerate tissue.

 

Day 29 post injection: The subject showed increasingly higher potential by each day that passed, however today we've administered some instigators onto him, primarily Satan's touch, Cyclone rush and a modified brand of Smothering Darkness. All of which were not only injected and used without trouble, but also enhanced by the Dread lord compound, turning the Satan's touch into a crimson-like or purple flames with higher than normal intensity and power, Cyclone rush didn't show much difference than norma, but allowed him to boost his speed even more.

 

Interesting however was smothering darkness which boosted his already enhanced darkness capabilities by the compound, allowing him to charge energy at a faster rate, and increasing the raw potency of his darkness abilities.

 

Suprisingly though, the pack-a-punch and Rocky road instigators were uncompatible, and rejected by his system, disabling their effect, as their effect comes packed into the dreadnaught compound, so we had to use the other instigators instead.

 

Day 50 post injection: Tough-guy tonic , Enduring bolt and Scamper speed were accepted by his speed and flawlessly implemented, negating most of his hindered speed due to what we now call as "Dread bones", tough guy tonic increasing his already high durability even more and Enduring bolt ensuring he doesn't tire out due to overworking off his body.

 

Day 60 post injection: A surprise happened today, the subject, after concentrating and accumulating energy long enough, managed to not only create a sword out of the rocks, which not only cut through our most powerful steel, but managed to pierce even an angel's armor, which is usually holy in elemental property, but thats not all, the user soon after sheating the sword created a crimson colored suit of armor made of the rocks, which not only rendered him practicaly invulnerable to damage, to an extent that even a TN-1 Couldn't knock him back or maker him stagger, not only that but he surpassed the TN-1 in strenght while wearing the armor.

 

Yet another surprise came when TN-1 began to lose his vital signs just by staying near the Dread Lord compound's subject while he was wearing the armor, although heavy magic would cause some damage to the armor, it simply rebuilt itself back up, however this armor seems to slow the subject down to a crawl, slowing down his walking speed to only a fast walk, further testing needed to subvert this.

 

Day 61: Upon immediate discovery of the armor, we've begun anti-magic tests, however these tests were a failure, and armor, nor any of the subject's magic abilities were disabled or weakened, seems lik it was an unexpected mutation of the compound during creation, very interesting.

 

Day 80: We've decided on an ultimatum, since none of our archangel subjects could put a big dent within the armor, nor could any of our weapon ordinance, even the TN-1 proved incapable of doing so, we have decided that one of our most dangerous subjects would be used to test the armor's real power.

 

None other than Chrysalis herself the angel's blood holder, pitted in the same testing area as the Dread lord's compound subject, we've ordered Chrysalis to attack him with her most powerful attack, albeit it took a while for her to attack as they seemed to have a nice little chat before the real test began.

 

THe power of Chrysalis, while extremely powerful, more powerful than even some of our best archangels and machines, couldn't destroy the armor, although it put a large dent into its chest area, but not deep enough to show his skin, even though being light and the Dread lord's compound having a weakness to it, the dent in the armor soon repaired itself, within ten minutes, an impressive display of durability.

 

Day: 143: Subject...escaped...broke free as he was being transferred to another cell, we couldn't stop the armor mode effectively, the soldiers nicknaming it "Dreadnaught mode", he blew right through our defenses, and destroyed a great deal of equipment and building structure, his whereabouts are unknown, as he deactivated the armor and disappeared in a bright flash of darkness, we don't know where he is, or what he intends to do, only one thing is clear now...he is out for revenge, against us it seems...god helps us all

Race power: Perpetual charge, for some reason the Dread lord's constantly charges power during battle, in which all accumulated energy is purged at the end of the battle, this power is generated at a faster rate the more he fights, the longer he fights, enabling him for increasingly more ferocious attacks as the fight goes on.

I was looking over your sheet and it looks pretty good, though he seems that he'll pack quite a punch.  I just hope that he isn't too overpowered in comparison to the other characters.  I want everyone to have a fair chance at combat, y'know?  I think the weapons should be fine so long as they aren't "too" powerful or overused.  Maybe he could use either the power from his weapons or magic, but not both in one battle?

 

Kunivas, what are your thoughts?

Technically Tanzinites are Considered a permanent buff for the sake of this RP. I forgot to note thst.Also yes, I felt very heavily underpowered compared to the likes of Neena and Henry due to using one of the earliest forms of Derik.Like I said, I don't use this one because it can be too OP. However, I feel that the fighters here are up to the challenge.

Don't worry. I consider Tanzynite as a direct-to. Mainly as its an item, not an ability that boosts strength through stealing of the ability. And as a result of the item, Henry gained new strength and has also had to practice with it during testing, further cementing it. I wouldn't want to underpowered Henry or any of my opponents. Except Cylar, as the dude is a power hungry punk and him getting even a sliver of Derik's power is far too dangerous. Though arguably, he doesn't have any special "powers", outsize his specialty skill of Will of the Warrior, however Cylar wouldn't get anything out of it as it suppresses all of his other abilities, including itself....Thst makes me curious, what would happen if Sylar active Will of the Warrior after stealing it? Because it would negate itself by logic standard.Hm..

Like I stated in my sign up, their power was kind of just put up for show using fancy wording. Tl:Dr of it is that Kylar is incredibly sharp as to give is extra attack and near unbreakable, can be seperated into a curved-edged blade and wall shield, gives light bonuses to Angel Reign. Sular is a thin, sharp, armor piercing rapier that is completely unbreakable, cannot be used by other people, does magic well, gives boost to Demon Reign. During either eclipse they inherit slight traits of the other and give a little more to the specific form. Throwing picks can have harmful effects but are not a primary attack, jacket is armor on-par with most of the armor in this game, save very, very heavy. He by no means is a Mage and still only knows basic spells.

Side(Rebellion, Empire, Criminal Underworld): Rebellion, but he'd rather work on his own. (Of course, there's only so much one man can do.)

 

Appearance: Tall, black hair, green eyes, fair skin. Wears a long black cloak normally, however when he fights, he throws it off, and reveals his clothes, a black shirt, with black pants. He carries around a broken pocket watch, which is jammed open.

 

Weapon(s): A simple masamune, but quite sharp. 

 

Power Status(Mage, Tanzynite User, Race Power e.g: Demonic Power if a Demon): Tanzinite User

His own mixture, calls it Crawling Shadow. (Description: An off-shoot of Smothering Darkness, that allows the user to pump his shadow full of dark energy, which allows him to control it, move it around, and shape it into what ever he wants.)

Experimental Compound(If a permitted user, limit of 1. Can have 1 other Instigator and 2 Tonics.): N/A

Bio/History: From childhood, Vay was a very smart kid. He could always be found taking things apart, putting them back together, and studying how it all fit together. But he would always keep away from other kids, always preferring to be on his own, even through all of his schoolwork. As he grew up, he saw more and more oppression and suffering, and he couldn't stand it. But what could he, just one man, do? So he studied even more, shutting out everyone, until he finally managed to join a Tanzynite production facility, where he learned where and how it was made. 

 

And on one fateful night, he made his decision. He'd never explain just what he saw that night, or even quite what he did, but what was known that he escaped the factory with a special Tanzynite chemical he had been working on. From that night on, he vowed he would topple the Empire. Even if he had to betray the few people he had ever known, he would do it.

 

Of course, he knew he couldn't do it alone. So one night, after breaking into a weapons shop and stealing a sword, he contacted the one friend he still had, who was in the Rebellion, and used him to join said Rebellion. But his goal is still the same.

 

Personality: He is not a... nice, person. He doesn't get along with people very well, and would much rather be by himself. But he is very determined. His sole focus is eventually toppling the Empire, and will not allow anything or anyone to get in his way. Why? No one knows.

As a Hound, she can emerge anywhere there is a corner as sharp, or sharper than 120 degrees. As a human... well, she sucks. Because Human. And another base power is the ability to sense any disturbance of time, and seek out whoever it was, whenever it was. This works better, however, when she is in her Hound form. (Seriouslybasehumansarejustboring)

Bio/History: In the beginning, there was time. If time could be considered a stream, then the normal races descend from the curves of time, whilst the Hounds come from the angles of time. Thus, the two do not normally mix, unless humans foolishly mess with time travel. But when humans do... a pack hunts after them. However, this specific Hound was... separated from her pack during their last hunt, and stranded in the human plane. Now she wanders around, hoping one day to rejoin her pack, and keep her sanity until she dos so. 

Personality: As a hound... imagine a dog. That's it, really. As a human... well, she tries to act like a human, but she is still unused to this passage of time. True, a few years of practice have helped her, but she still doesn't pass herself off as human very well.

Bio/History: Akira was born as a mage, under the Korbenic Empire sadly. He was tested positive as a mage as a kid, so like all children thought to be a mage, he was dragged away from his family, and sent somewhere to have horrible experiments performed upon him. (Note that before that fateful day, he met a kid named Vay Lea, and quickly made friends with him.) However, Akira was a very lucky kid. For his transport was stopped by a wandering party of mages, and he was almost adopted by them. He practiced his magic under their watchful eye, and soon grew up into the person he is now.

 

Then, one day, he decided to take revenge against the Empire that had kidnapped him, and killed or experimented on so many like him. So he tracked down the Rebellion, and almost begged to join them. After proving his skills to them, they let him join. He was glad, and started spending as much time as he could training himself, all in hoping to one day be able to topple the empire. However, one day, he met his old friend, Dr Vay Lea once again. Surprised he was even alive, they quickly caught up. And then Vay asked Akira to help him join the Rebellion. After failing to dissuade him, Akira relented, and pulled a few strings, and thus Vay joined. 

Personality: Self-centered, almost convinced that the world revolves around himself. And yet, he's somewhat of a likable person. When you get to know him. He cares for his friends, when he manages to make them.

Technically Tanzinites are Considered a permanent buff for the sake of this RP. I forgot to note thst.Also yes, I felt very heavily underpowered compared to the likes of Neena and Henry due to using one of the earliest forms of Derik.I wouldn't want to underpowered Henry or any of my opponents. Except Cylar, as the dude is a power hungry punk and him getting even a sliver of Derik's power is far too dangerous. Though arguably, he doesn't have any special "powers", outsize his specialty skill of Will of the Warrior, however Cylar wouldn't get anything out of it as it suppresses all of his other abilities, including itself....Thst makes me curious, what would happen if Sylar active Will of the Warrior after stealing it? Because it would negate itself by logic standard.

That's what I meant. It would basically be useless to use it and the logic of it would be deadly to the fabric of spacetime.

Distant and cold, she has grown bitter and resentful of the Empire and all it has done. She also Dislikes Tanzynites for taking her mother away, but she will not hate people for what a drug did. She uses Tonics to ensure her continued survival, and nothing else.

For those who get to know her, Eclaire is kind and even gentle. She can be quiet, a more thoughtful quiet, when others talk.
