Who do you think the other 7 Seekers of Darkness are?

Posted

So far we have 6 confirmed Seekers of Darkness:

- Master Xehanort

- Young Xehanort

- Braig

- Isa

- Ansem the Seeker of Darkness

- Xemnas

However, there are 7 unconfirmed Seekers of Darkness yet to be revealed.

Personally, I can only name a two, considering Marluxia, Luxord, Larxene, Zexion, Xaldin and Vexen are unlikely candidates.

- Terranort

- Vanitas

How about you guys and girls? Who do you think could be the other seven Seekers of Darkness?

the foretellers?

saw a video on youtube once with a great fan theory..talking about how the old mansion in twilight town was littered with unicorn stuff and Unicornus is one of the foretellers. I just think it's too much detail to ignore.

  • Vanitas
  • Terra-Xehanort
  • Riku Replica
  • Luxord's Somebody (Dorul?)
  • Demyx's Sombeody (Meyd?)
  • Leopardus Foreteller
  • I got no clue. (Xehanort when he was an adult maybe?)

why Leopardus? I've never played KHX, so what i said about the foreteller's was basically just based on the fan theory i discribed above. Is there something in that game that makes Leopardus stand out as a potential SOD?

There's nothing in Chi that hints that he's a Seeker of Darkness. But, there's this:

I love how everyone went from completely dismissing Luxord as a SoD and Now he's on everyone's shortlist!

Hey, why else would there be a chess piece on the board with dice at the symbol? Who else uses dice in this whole series? Unless that's a major, concentrated effort to misdirect everyone, that points directly at Luxord.

Anyway, I agree with this guy.

That was exactly my point :D

I was one of the first people to point it out but I just got shouted down, but now everyone pretty much agrees xD

Apart from the whole chess thing, I would just like to see more of Luxord. The series needs more suave villains.

Luxord, Vanitas, Terranort and one of the foretellers will definitely count as one of the 13 SoD's. The last three? I have no idea. I hope some completely new characters or Disney characters.

Luxord, Vanitas, Terranort are my quite sure candidates, and Marluxia is the one who I would like to see as one of them. I also think that Repliku is quite likely to be in there too.

You don't think it's a little late in the saga to be introduced to new characters of significance? I dont know, He/she'd have to be done extremely well in order to matter. This is the conclusion remember. Not saying you're wrong, but a brand new character seems unlikely to me. Unless it's another version of a character we already know. Same with a disney character. If it weren't for the fact that Mickey is a Guardian of Light, i would say not to count on a disney SoD. Remember, these guys are supposed to have some sort of connection to Xehanort to serve as an appropriate vessel.

I think it might be...

7. Vanitas

8. Luxord

9. Leapardos

10. Anguis

11. Unicornis

12. Ursus

13. Vulpeus

But I figure one of the Foretellers might not be a Darkness

So that spot might fit for Terra-nort

To those saying Marluxia may return, let us recall his actions in Chain of Memories. He tried to overthrow the organisation and use Sora as a puppet for his own intentions. He, along with Larxene and Vexen aren't going to return if they aren't trustworthy candidates.

Remember, Xehanort never existed during the events of the original Keyblade War, therefore, he cannot recruit the original Foretellers, however, data simulation Foretellers are a different matters, because, they are not complete beings, and, they are not the original Foretellers.

As far as Terra-Xehanort goes, chances are, he may either be in a form of purgatory to ensure that Ansem and Xemnas stay as beings which prevents him from being a Seeker Of Darkness, or, he may replace one of the Foretellers (but the latter option seems very unlikely).

I second this. Demyx is too much of a coward and Xaldin was originally a noble guard for Radiant Garden who just so happened to be associated with Braig before Xehanorts interference in Radiant Garden.

Yeah, but how can Xehanort recruit data versions of them? I don't think it's possible for data-versions of beings to be roaming around the real world. Their bodies aren't even real ones to begin with.

Xion ressurected by Xehanort.

I believe it could be Luxord, yes. However, I'm still not convinced. Why would he join the new Org after learning what the original Org was really about?

  • He may not have learned of its true intentions. Maybe he is still being lied to.
  • He may have been made a vessel for Xehanort when it was too late for him to realise the true intentions of the Organization.

I'm still sceptical on Terra-Xehanort.

The whereabouts of Terra's heart is up in the air. I actually think Luxord could return again!

1: This is plausible.

2: There are no hints towards this throgout the series such as with Saix and Xigbar.

Still, anything could happen. It's just that the lack of back-story makes it weird to assume him being a SoD. If that's the case, a lot of stuff has to be explained, and I really hope it doesn't come out like something they just added because they needed someone to be the last SoD.

Yeah, but how can Xehanort recruit data versions of them? I don't think it's possible for data-versions of beings to be roaming around the real world. Their bodies aren't even real ones to begin with.

Haha, you're sounding just like Pete from Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded HD when he told Donald and Goofy that Data Sora body isn't real so they shouldn't care about him.

Back to topic, It's been shown that beings who are not originally real (like Xion) in the Kingdom Hearts Universe can form an identity of their own if they are separated from their original source for long enough. Xion wasn't "real"... she was nothing more than Sora's personification of Kairi that formed its own identity.

Xehanort can't use the real Foretellers, because, Xehanort did not exist during that time period. Data simulations can be used, because, they are available whenever they are simulated. By Xehanort infusing his heart onto these data vessels: they will lose their own simulated Foreteller identity and turn into Xehanort.

Yeah, but how can Xehanort recruit data versions of them? I don't think it's possible for data-versions of beings to be roaming around the real world. Their bodies aren't even real ones to begin with.

Well, the process can be done backwards, and then it can be reverted. Sora was completely (by completely I mean Mind/Soul, Body and Heart) transformed into data and entered Space paranoids, and then, being just data, reverted to a real being in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden when he exited Space paranoids. The same with Donald and Goofy, and happened again in KH Coded when Mickey, Donald, Goofy; Pete and Maleficent entered the Datascape and they get out of it. Even Roxas was made into data in the Virtual Twilight Town, and exited it before merging with Sora If I remember well.

My point is, if you completely transform a real being into data and then it can be reverted back to real, then artificial data should be allowed to be processed backwards to become real. Because data is just data, and the way it is processed should be the same.

Sure, this may not be the case, but in an universe were Heartless ARE hearts (meh) and people can be divided into Heartless that are hearts and Nobodies who result to be somebody's body (yeah... KH stuff) and can become somebody after growing a heart (what?) it would not be so strange that artificial data becomes real.

OK, I'll be serious again... we just need to merge the process to create replica, and the artificial simulation foretellers and we have something that may not be the true original foretellers, but for practical purposes serve like they are. After all, If the data or illusion foretellers are summoned by the Book of Prophecy and implanted into replica bodies, they would be exactly the same as the originals... and potential Xehanort vessels. I'm almost sure this reasoning may be full of holes that I'm yet to see, but if Nomura invented all that time travel stuff in KH3D with a pretty lame explication (more like doesn't explaining anything at all), I think this is at the very least plausible.
