I was thinking that maybe at some point discovers about his family origins and believes that he has a duty to fufill, because if you read his reports, he starts to doubt about the light and all those things and also it may be reason why he can use that keyblade of his because it was originally from the 6th foreteller.

I believe that a lot of people have speculated about Xehanort somehow being related to the 6th Foreteller.  It's a very interesting concept, to be sure, and from what I've seen, the 6th Foreteller is the only one wearing an Organization coat, and that, my friend, is a dead giveaway!  Still, since I'm not caught up to the story of Unchained X, I don't know who that cloaked person is!  I'm just waiting for Unchained X to roll around so I can get caught up in the story! X_X

 

But yeah, Xehanort may have something to do with the 6th Foreteller!

Actually, I have had an epiphany about this. The sixth apprentice (he never had the book so he is not a foreteller) possessed the keyblade Master Xehanort wields and willed to possess Kingdom Hearts and the X-blade. That keyblade was passed down with that very will to Master Xehanort who will fulfill it.

The sixth foreteller is the mother of Master Xehanort. Once Master Xehanort was born: he was sent into Destiny Islands to avoid the conflict of the Keyblade War.

 

it can justify the reason as to why Xehanort can be transferred into the era of The Keyblade War.

A lot of people have been saying this and I am inclined to agree, even if he is not the 6th apprentice himself, he is definitely connected, I mean Young Xehanort did say that Master Xehanort's keyblade is the oldest in existence and if you look at his keyblade as has been pointed out in the past it definitely looks like a goat's head and that fits in with the other foreteller' with their animal themes.

Maybe, the Master Foreteller summoned Xehanort from the Book Of Prophecies without realising as to how much of a threat he was. That could explain as to why he can jump there (as there is a version of himself that exists then).

The way the plot is going. I wouldn't be surprised anymore haha, though I seriously hope the whole events aren't taking place from Time of Prophecy and Sora and co are actually from the future etc etc that would completely blow the plot apart and the lat thing we need is for a more confusing plot

The Foretellers, Chirithy and Ephemera seemed to have from the Keyblade War era.

It's been confirmed that Kingdom Hearts X is the most furthest in the past Kingdom Hearts timeline.
