So, when Square Enix stated "Big Hero 6 (2014)"'s story would take place after the movie, were they hinting that it would be a SECOND VISIT to that world?  And the first visit would follow the movie?

 

Could this mean they were hinting at 2 visits per world like in "Kingdom Hearts 2"?  If so, I could see the first visits involving Maleficent & Pete using the Heartless while continuing their search for the "Book of Prophecies".  The second visit could involve Xehanort and his followers trying to use the Heartless to force Sora to rejoin the Organization's 13 Vessels... or something along those lines.

Nevertheless I think there's a high chance for second visits returning in KH3, and I support this, if the second visits will have an impact on the story, and not be meaningless like most of the second visits in KH2 were.

I believe since they're adding more worlds than before, and the worlds are going to be much larger than in Kingdom Hearts 2, I doubt they would have us visit the world a second time.  

I demand second world visits. First visits as part of the Disney plot and the second visit as the means to further dramatize the impending Keyblade War!

I don't know. The second visits in kh2 seemed more like a way to extend the length of the game rather than actually adding anything. I just want the worlds visits to be longer, and better paced with more detail in the worlds stories rather than the length of the game relying on grinding, and i could put it on critical instead of proud to make the game more difficult to make it last longer, but that doesn't add actual length it would just make it where I would havve to grind a bit more.

Second world visits provide more screen-time for the Disney worlds. It just so happens that second world visits were not executed very well in the second installment.

In DDD you have to go back to traverse town with both characters to finish the TWEWY story. And don't you gotta go back to Radiant Garden in BBS as aqua to fight a boss?

Well they're done rather poorly. If it had us returning to worlds for things that actually felt important rather than just to fight a heartless then they might be worth something, and there are also other problems with kh2..

 

The useless sections like when you're locked in the cell in Space paranoids, and it has you hit the door to unlock it or in port royal where you have to launch the flaming barrels off the boat. Those had no challenge to them, there was nothing interesting about them, and even though they both only take about 30 seconds they're still really annoying.

Oh, I really hope that we get to visit the worlds twice in Kingdom Hearts III!  What I loved most about Kingdom Hearts II was that we could visit the worlds twice, which added more longevity to the game in and of itself!  (And reading the comments on this thread, I actually never thought of the BBS and KH3D character perspectives to count as second visits!  Whaddaya know!)

 

But anyways, I don't think Roy implied that we'd be visiting the worlds twice, he only stated that the events in the world of Big Hero 6 would take place after the film. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

But for the record, I DO WANT TO VISIT WORLDS TWICE!

Yea, that would be nice, but I'm just hoping they d it better than they did in KH2.

I think there's evidence of second world visits in the trailer.

 

Kingdom of Coronia is the first Disney world, however, Sora wears his KH3 costume. In Mount Olympus, Sora wears his Kingdom Hearts 2 costume.

Maybe, for second world visits, Sora wears his Kingdom Hearts 3 costume?
